After Boruto's examination was considered top secret, the Hokage adjusted the proper protocol. An Anbu skilled in Genjutsu was ordered to hypnotize a bald man selling skewers so he would forget what happened to Boruto. Several eyewitnesses who accidentally observed the scene were also hypnotized.
Then, the Scientific Research Division was assigned to make an eye patch accessory that would not interfere with the wearer's normal activities. Of course, they only received orders without knowing the details of what happened.
Three days passed just like that. During these days, Boruto is just resting at home. His mother would not allow him to play until she was absolutely sure of his health. Boruto, who is bored, can only fill his busy life by playing the game console. Luckily, Boruto didn't feel depressed. His father promised to take the time to teach him Kagebunshin tomorrow.
Today, Boruto has an agenda before meeting his father. He wanted to find someone who might still be in the village. To find someone, ordinary citizens would contact the Data Collection and Administration Division. However, Boruto knows that there are other divisions that have abundant intelligence resources. Finding someone is just a matter of turning hands for this division.
Boruto walked into the area that heavily guarded. Of all the divisions in Konoha, this division is one that has the highest level of security. What if it's not the Anbu Division.
Before peacetime, the Anbu's main job was to kill high-level enemies or fugitives that normal Jounin couldn't handle. After the peacetime, the need for assassinations was greatly reduced, so Anbu began to be used as an information gathering agent as well as an agent for securing important village assets.
Boruto walks confidently. This was not the first time he had visited the Anbu base. There is an acquaintance who must be of high authority here.
Before approaching the entrance, Boruto felt familiar with one of the guards that he just happened to know recently. He immediately smiled broadly and bowed respectfully.
"Is this Uncle Sun Lion?" Boruto asked probingly. Even though an Anbu's mask is generally different from one another, he still needs confirmation.
"Oh, Young Master Boruto? I am indeed the Sun Lion. What a coincidence that we meet again in the short time. Is there anything I can help you with?" The Sun Lion replied graciously. It is very rare for an Anbu to act friendly towards the other person. Most of them even sound flat and expressionless. However, aside from Boruto's identity as the Hokage's son, the Sun Lion's impression of him as an individual is also good. No wonder he was friendly to liven up the atmosphere.
"Sorry little one for coming without prior notice. Little one has some needs for information and wants to visit Uncle Sai."
"Visiting the Head? Usually the Head is always busy in the office. But since Young Master Boruto asked, I will convey your arrival. Please wait a moment." Sun Lion explained.
After standing in front of the door for a while, Boruto felt awkward and then saw one of the guards who had not spoken before. This guard looks slimmer than the average Anbu. Because he also keeps a close eye on Boruto, Boruto couldn't stand it and said.
"Uncle, is there something wrong on my face?" Boruto confused.
Hearing the yellow boy start the conversation, the guard replied in a feminine voice. "No!"
"Oh, forgive this litte one. It turned out to be Aunt. I hope Auntie doesn't take it to heart." Boruto explained.
"I'm not your Aunt." The Anbu girl answered curtly.
"Then, Big sis?"
"Up to you!"
Hearing such a short answer, Boruto felt even more awkward. He could only pretend that he was seriously waiting for the Sun Lions without starting another conversation.
After a while, the person he's been waiting for came.
"Young Master, sorry for the long wait. The chief said he would give you ten minutes to talk. Please go upstairs immediately." Sun Lion explained.
"Fine, Uncle. Thank you." Boruto immediately went inside. However, before actually entering, he felt that there was something lack. Then, he turned around and said. "Big sis, see you."
Hearing that sound, the Anbu girl just glanced at his back and didn't say anything.
"You know Young Master?" Sun Lion asked curiously.
"Just hearing. First time meeting." The Anbu girl replied.
"Oh…" Sun Lion lost interest. After all, the Anbu do not gossip.

Boruto, who already knew Sai's location, immediately headed there. He stood in front of the door of the room and knocked on it lightly.
"Come in." A slightly cold voice sounded.
"Excuse me..." Boruto closed the door quietly and stood petrified.
"You're just going to stand? Remember, your time is limited. What do you want to ask?" Sai said without directly facing Boruto.
He was busy sifting through scrolls of classified information.
"Uncle Sai... you see. I'm looking for a woman. She's in her early twenties. She entered the village maybe around 10 years ago. She entered with an elderly grandfather. The grandfather seems to have died a few years after settling in the village. Can Uncle Sai help me find the place where she lives?" Boruto asked.
"Hm... why are you looking for her?" Sai asked flatly.
"It… just so happened that when I was little there was a woman who helped me when I got injured while playing. This woman drove me home. We talked along the way so I got some information. I wanted to find her to return the favor. After a long time, this thought only came to mind recently." Boruto explained brightly. He made up a story and was full of confidence. He didn't even show any signs of nervousness. This story he had rehearsed many times during his break-time.
"Oh, wait a minute." Sai replied.
Sai started looking for data on the computer. Information about the population is not a secret. Therefore, the data is stored digitally.
It's different if the information is strategic, such as secret jutsu information, neighboring countries' movements, dangerous criminal movements, and the like. The printed media such as seal scrolls will be the main choice to store them. In fact, a new technology that could make a big difference in society would be archived into the academy's library. The blueprints will not be found digitally.
After waiting for a while, Sai finally said. "There are three women who look like your description. Sayaka Endou, Haru Mashiro, and Kasuga. Which one do you think?"
Boruto slightly frowned. "Are they shinobi?"
"Sayaka and Haru are pure normal people. Kasuga has a bit of Chakra talent, but he didn't enter the academy." Sai explained.
Boruto still wasn't sure, then he remembered something and asked. "Oh yeah, the Grandfather I mentioned was over a hundred years old before he died. Which of the three met the criteria?"
"Then Kasuga. She's currently opening a flower shop in the 6th district. I'll write down the full address for you."
After scribbling for a while, Sai gave Boruto the address. "Anything else you need?"
"Uncle, is Inori okay?" Boruto asked with a smile.
"Why? I heard from Inojin that you often bully her. Do you feel guilty and want to apologize to me?" Sai replied with a cold smile.
"Bully her? No. I never bullied Inori. Inojin slandered me. Uncle, you can't just believe him just because he's your son. I'm so innocent." Boruto hurriedly explained. He didn't want someone that he considered as 'future father-in-law' to have a bad impression on him.
"Well, if you have nothing else to ask, please leave immediately. Uncle wants to get back to work." Sai smiled coldly.
"Uncle, you don't believe me? I can swear on my father's name that I have never hurt Inori." Boruto said earnestly.
"Boruto, are you done?" Sai was expressionless.
"Uncle..." Boruto still wanted to recover his good name, but he knew Sai wasn't in the mood for a long conversation. Then, he remembered something and said, "Uncle, is there an Anbu with the code name Black Cover?"
Sai who was initially expressionless suddenly frowned. "How did you know this name?" His gaze got sharper.
Boruto was frightened by Sai's sudden change, he hurriedly said, "Well, I was just reading a random book. And then came across this name. Hehehe..." He was looking for an excuse.
"Is it true?" Sai returned to investigate.
"Really, I just find this name cool. In the future, if I'm accepted into the Anbu, maybe I'll call myself White Cover. Hehehe."
Sai was silent for a moment, before responded, "Your current character isn't suitable to be an Anbu. Go back in ten years. Maybe I'll see how you change in the future. Alright, if there's nothing else, please leave!"
"Fine, Uncle Sai. Thanks for the help. Oh, yes, I will left my regards for Inori. Bye!" Boruto rushed out after seeing Sai's eyes narrowing at him.
