Chapter 7 - Finding Peace Amidst the Storm

They were living together and one day John got careless and Samantha found out that he needed her child's blood to open the long-lost box that her Great-grandma used to keep her most precious things locked away.

Samantha was devastated. She felt betrayed and angry, but she was also scared. She had no idea what John planned to do with her child's blood and she was desperate for answers.

She asked John to tell her the truth and he finally opened up. He told her that he was trying to open a box that would give him access to something that would make him very powerful. He refused to tell her what it was, but he did tell her that the box only opened if her child's blood was used.

He asked her to make a choice: either give him her child's blood or risk losing him forever. She was terrified of what could happen if she refused, but she also knew that she could never trust John again if she gave him her child's blood. She was afraid, but she chose to trust her instincts.

She decided to take a chance and refused to let John have her child's blood. He was furious and left without another word.

She was afraid of what he was going to do to her. So, she did what anyone else would've done, she ran away.

John had to go to hospital immediately because his father had a stroke in washroom.

Samantha took the opportunity to escape and she never looked back. She left her home, her job, and everything she had ever known. She moved around from place to place, never staying in one place for too long.

Despite all of the pain and fear that John had caused her, she still couldn't help but feel a small twinge of sadness when she thought about him. After all, she had loved him once and she knew that there was still a part of her that hoped he would one day come find her and apologize for all the pain he had caused her.

Samantha was determined to stay safe, but she knew that she could never truly be free from John's grasp until she found a way to deal with him.

Somehow God heard her prayers and John and his family died in a plane crash. It was a devastating news for Samantha but at the same time she felt relieved that she could get rid of the fear of John coming after her.

She decided to move on with her life and start over. She began to look for a job and a place to live. She slowly started to build a new life for herself and gradually, she started to heal.

She was still scared and cautious, but she was determined to make something of her life and she was determined to stay safe. No more running, no more hiding.

Samantha was finally able to move on and find happiness again. She was able to let go of the past and start a new life. She was finally free from John and the pain he had caused her.

Although she will never forget the pain and suffering, she endured, she is grateful to be able to move on and find peace in her life again.
