Kazuki Yamamoto had just enrolled in a prestigious high school in Tokyo and was looking forward to making the most of his time there. He had always been a bright student and had dreamed of attending a school like this since he was a kid. Little did he know, his time at this school would lead him down a path he never expected.
Kazuki had been attending the school for a few weeks already and was already making new friends. He had found himself quite popular among the other students and he enjoyed the attention. He was especially drawn to the school's beautiful cherry blossoms, which were said to bring good luck to those who admired them.
One day, while walking around the school, Kazuki noticed a girl standing near the cherry blossom trees. She was beautiful and had a gentle aura about her. He couldn't take his eyes off her. As he watched, she seemed to be looking around, as if she was searching for something.
Kazuki was about to approach her when a group of boys stopped him. They were all from the same clique and seemed to be up to no good. They began to tease Kazuki, calling him names and mocking him for his interest in the girl.
Kazuki felt embarrassed and angry, but before he could do anything, the girl quickly stepped in and defended him. She told the boys to leave him alone and then walked away with Kazuki.
The girl's name was Sayuri and she had been watching Kazuki from afar for some time. She found him to be kind and gentle and felt drawn to him. She invited him to join her and her friends at lunch and Kazuki soon found himself in the middle of a group of friends.
Sayuri and Kazuki quickly became close and before long, they were spending almost all of their free time together. They would go to the park, the movies, and even just take walks around town.
Kazuki found himself falling in love with Sayuri, but he was afraid to tell her how he felt. He was sure she didn't feel the same way. But then one day, while out on a walk, Kazuki finally gathered the courage to tell her his true feelings.
He invited her under the cherry blossom tree where they first met to confess his feelings.
Sayuri was nervously approaching him from behind.
Their eyes met and Kazuki bent 90 degrees and confessed to Sayuri
Sayuri was weirded out by his mob character confession but still accepted it.
The two of them started to date and Kazuki couldn't believe his luck. He had found the love of his life and was finally happy.
On the other side the captain of the baseball team, Miyamoto started to hate Kazuki, because he also liked Sayuri but didn't have the courage to confess.
One day when he was planning to beat Kazuki with his goons, Sayuri spotted them planning against Kazuki and decided to confont him.
The two of them had a heated argument and Miyamoto decided to provide Kazuki a chance of proving his worth.
He challenged Kazuki to a baseball match after a month, if Kazuki can win the match Sayuri will be his and no one can interfere.
Kazuki accepted the challenge and started to practice for the match. He was determined to win the match and prove his worth to everyone.
The day of the match came and Kazuki was ready. He faced Miyamoto in the final match and lost the game in the most dramatic fashion. Because this wasn't a fantasy where main characters will win with BS power ups, no matter the odds.
Miyamoto's years of hard work paid off and he won the match.
Everyone was cheering for Sayuri and Kazuki had no choice but to accept defeat. Sayuri was
still proud of Kazuki forr his hard work and the two of them shared a passionate kiss under the cherry blossoms and declared their love for one another.
Miyamoto felt cheated but he was forced to realize that he isn't the main characters and he can't just treat people like object and expect them to love him.
He decided to give up on Sayuri but he realized that he started falling for Kazuki and it was too late to just ignore his feelings.
Kazuki was walking in the school hallway when he bumped into Miyamoto.
"ouch", said Kazuki.
"Are you okay", asked Miyamoto
Kazuki looked up and saw the honest concern in Miyamoto's eyes. He smiled and said," I'm fine"
Miyamoto smiled back and the two of them started to talk.
After a few weeks Miyamoto confessed to Kazuki under the same tree and was brutally rejected as Kazuki saw him as just a friened.
When Sayuri heard the news of it, she went to the baseball club and beat Miyamoto black and blue for trying to steal her boyfriend.
Sayuri and Kazuki went on a date. Sayui went to bathroom of the cafe for a minute and some delinquents started hitting on Kazuki. He tried to protest but they were too intimidating for him, fortunately Sayuri came back saved the day.
The two of them started to fight the delinquents and eventually won.
The news of the fight reached school and Kazuki and Sayuri became a local celebrity. Everyone was impressed by their courage and they got the respect they deserved.
Kazuki and Sayuri were inseparable after that. They graduated and went to college together, and eventually got married. They were the happiest couple in Tokyo and everyone was inspired by their story.
Kazuki and Sayuri still visit the cherry blossom tree every year, just like they did when they first met. They were living proof that love can conquer anything and that with courage and determination you can achieve anything.
