Chapter 62 - 62 Call

I wake to the subtle dinging of my phone, I groan and roll over and answer it.

"This is Doctor Huller." I get out.

"Damn, you sound like shit. You have a rough night or something?" Lances voice comes through the phone.

I stretch and groan, "You have no idea, man."

I roll out of the bed and enter the office to talk to him and explain what happened last night. He's not happy about it, but knows that I'm doing the best I can and the same thing he would have done if he was here. He gives me the password and then asks me how things are going with me and Sarina.

"That's a conversation for when you come back. How about you two newlyweds?"

"Well, considering that Lirael has now started experiencing morning sickness and it's not strictly just in the morning, we're doing fine. The plane ride was rough on her, but we made it through. I'm more worried about the flight home." Lance informs me.

"Find a pharmacy and ask them if there's anything she can take to help with that." I suggest.

"I will. Now, about this conversation, is everything good with you two?" I let out a heavy breath, thinking carefully how to word this.

"Not yet. Last night was pretty full of unexpected situations. Her brother went to the hospital to top it off too. He's on oxygen now. But can I access the cameras from my home? Or do I need to go to the club to get the footage for the police department?" I ask him.

"You'll have to go to the club, but ask Simon or Scott to do it for you. They can access the cameras."

"That's good to know. Hopefully they are feeling better and can give Dass a break. She was pretty shook up after the fight and almost being drugged last night." I rub my eyes, needing a cup of coffee. "What time is it there by the way?"

"It's eleven at night here. What time is it there?"

"Six am."

"Shit, sorry Brian. I'll let you get some more sleep, man. Send me another email if there are any issues."

"Will do, give Lirael our love. I hope she gets to feeling better."

"I will, man. Thank you Brian. Later."

I go back to the bed room and put my phone back on the charger, drink some water and climb back into bed. Sarina stirs as I move closer to her a frown forming on her features. She starts whimpering and I lay my arm across her, holding her to calm her dreaming mind.

"Brian." She whimpers.

"I'm right here, Sarina." I tell her as she calms her whimpers.

I start to fall back asleep when she starts tossing and turning, whimpering again. I open my eyes and see she's starting to cry.

"Sarina, you're dreaming wake up." I shake her a little bit to wake her and her tears start to flow harder. "Sarina." I shake her a little more and her eyes pop open and she shoots up and looks around breathing heavy, tears still flowing.

She cries for a moment before I'm wrapping my arms around her. "Hey it's okay, it was just a bad dream." She sobs as she holds on to me, letting a desolate cry escape her lips.

I do my best to soothe her, patting her back and holding her close to me. She cries for a few minutes before she finally calms down, releasing me from her hold. I reach over and grab the wash cloth she left on the side table last night to dry her face. She gets up and goes and blows her nose in the bathroom before turning the sink on and splashing cold water on her face. She comes back to the bed and climbs in.

"Sorry about that." She mutters.

"It's fine. Do you want to talk about it?" I ask her.

She shakes her head and just curls up on my side, resting her head on my chest.

"Okay, let's try and get some more rest then, babe." I kiss her head and let sleep take over again.

In my dreams, it's weird. Nothing is really making sense and all the faces are blurry as I move about looking for something. Until my dreams plop me on a soft, comfortable bed, a blonde woman pleasuring me with her mouth. Groaning in my dream, it feels so good until the sensation disappears. I'm not wanting my dream to end, but I can tell I'm waking up, when the feeling returns, just better.

I'm drifting between my dream and waking, wanting to stay asleep to finish my dream when I realize, the feeling is waking me up. With a loud moan, my eyes flutter open to find Sarina riding my cock.

"Oh my god... Sarina." I grip her hips and rock her on me, watching her breasts bounce and jiggle, making me crave them in my mouth. I tug on her sides to pull her down to me so I'm able to grasp and play with her breasts. I pull her closer to my mouth, tasting her sweet flesh, enjoying hearing her moans and pleas.

"Brian...!" She cries out as she crumbles on top of me. I hold her to me as she calms down the both of us panting.

"Did you cum?" Sarina asks, lifting her body off of me.

I shake my head, "No, it's fine though." I put her on the bed and curl up behind her, "Do you feel better now?"

"No, you didn't get yours." She sulks, turning herself show her pouty lips and disappointed eyes.

"It's not always about that." I reassure her, running my fingers through her bed head.

"Yes, but I like it when I make you cum..."

"And I like it the fact you wake me up to wonderful things like that." I boop her nose with my finger and stretch. "I'm going to take a shower, would you like to join?" I ask her and she nods.

We hop in and clean ourselves off before getting out and making breakfast. I give Simon and Scott a call and ask them to get the footage of the incident last night, from where the guy drugged Dass's drink until the moment I'm able to get Big daddy to stop beating the guy. That I would be by around noon to pick up the USB.

Sarina is quiet, making our coffee and cutting up fruit while I make the pancakes and talk to Simon and Scott. I see if they're well enough to work today and tonight to give Dass a day off. Scott says he'll work the night shift with Simon and let Dass have the night off. I thank them and ask them to call Dass to let her know. They ask about payroll and I kick myself, having totally forgot about that yesterday.

"When I stop by and pick up the USB, I'll take care of it. I forgot yesterday to finish it up and upload the times for everyone. I'm sorry guys, I have till the end of the day to submit that for you to get your checks on Monday. I'll take care of you all, promise. I'll see you guys in a little while."

I hang up and Sarina is quiet, pulling the syrup out and placing it on the table along with the fruit. I finish plating the pancakes and take them to the table.

"Here you go." I set her plate in front of her and then sit down with mine. She quietly adds butter and fruit to her pancakes and begins to eat. We eat in relative silence, before I clear my throat to talk to her.

"I have to go to the club to do the payroll and pick up the USB with the footage from last night so I can take it to the police station. I know you want to see your brother, but did you want to come with me while I do that and we can go together?" I reach for her hand that's on the table, but she picks up her glass to take a drink instead.

"I don't know. I'll think about it while we finish getting ready." She get's back to finishing her food, leaving me a little disappointed at how cold she suddenly became.

"May I ask why you seem so distant all of a sudden?" I inquire. I know we still had a lot to talk about after last night's events but that was no reason for her to be cold.

She huffs, her bottom jaw moving from side to side before she raises her eyes to me, "I know that it is unfair to make you suffer for others mistakes, but I feel that when it comes to Dass, you are trying to invalidate the way I feel. I know I should trust you, but there's something that just keeps rubbing me the wrong way about her." She sits back and sets her fork down, waiting for me to say something.

"I don't know what to tell you about that, Sarina. I'm not doing anything wrong with her and I haven't seen her do anything inappropriate towards me either."

"It's just a feeling in my gut. I do not like it, I can not help it, but as I said last night, I'm trying to not punish you for others mistakes and trust you." Her bottom lip quivers and she crosses her arms across her chest, hugging herself. "Just please, please don't lie to me. Don't prove my feeling right, please." She blinks and tears roll down her cheeks, "I don't think I could handle it."

"Oh baby." I breathe out, kneeling by her chair and take her hands into mine. "I promise you that I have never and will never cheat on you. No one is worth the cost of losing you."

She wraps her arms around my neck and grips me like a life raft in the ocean.
