Chereads / If These Walls Could Talk 2: Brian / Chapter 46 - 46 Childhood home

Chapter 46 - 46 Childhood home

We arrive at my childhood home and Sarina stares wide eyed at it, as we pull into the drive.

"Damn man, your folks got a nice place. Even mom and dad's house wasn't this nice, huh sis?" David exclaims from the back seat. "What do your parents do for a living?"

I chuckle, "They bought this place dirt cheap, to be honest. My mom was a real estate lawyer and my dad was a contract writer for several different law firms and wrote a few books on it too. My mom came across the property and was able to help the previous owners avoid foreclosure and keep good credit to afford a different place in exchange for a big discount on it. When I was five or six is when we moved in here. Before that, we lived in a townhouse with no yard closer to Dallas."

"Oh, that's cool. Well, let's check it out." David says excitedly, opening his door so he's ready for when we bring him his chair. He puts his gloves back on as I grab his chair and open it for him.

As soon as he's in it, he's off up the driveway, leaving me and Sarina in his dust. I wrap an arm around her waist and kiss her temple and whisper, "It's good to see him feeling so good today."

Sarina nods, her eyes dropping to the ground before returning to mine, "Yeah it is good."

She seems a little off, I noticed it a little earlier at the restaurant but I'm going to guess that it has to do with her brothers health. We walk up to the front door that's open, David already entering, calling back to us.

"Come on now, you were not raised in a barn, close the door you slow pokes. You're letting out all the air conditioning!" He snickers as we walk in the door, Sarina giving him a scowl.

My dad chuckles, he seems to like David, which I know must be reassuring to Sarina. She was worried about his personality clashing with my parents. I knew things would turn out all right, my parents are actually pretty relaxed now that they are retired. My dad takes us to the back patio and we sit back while my mother brings us a jug of lemonade.

She pours us all a glass and takes a seat and David takes a big gulp. "Cough-Cough, Holy mackerel! Mrs. Huller, a word of warning would have been nice." He coughs again and I'm quick to reach for a napkin for him.

My mom looks concerned, "I'm sorry is it too sour?" She takes a sip and her eyes go wide, "This has alcohol in it!"

My Dad starts cracking up and I take a small sip of it myself and have to blow a breath out. "Mom, how did you make the lemonade?"

Mom hits dad's arm, "With the lemonade mix your father pulled out for me earlier!" She wags her finger at him, "You did this on purpose!"

My dad holds his hands up, "I didn't hold back any information from you. You're the one who didn't read the bottle. Don't you know what Limoncello is?" My dad is still laughing, and even I have to turn my head and cover my smirk.

Sarina takes a little sip, her face scrunching from the alcohol content. "It would be alright if you add something to it." She lets out a long breath, "That is very strong, even if it tastes good."

Dad starts laughing and smacking his knee as my mom grumbles and takes the jug back into the house, bad mouthing my dad under her breath for playing a prank on her.

"Brian, while your mom calms down, why don't you give Sarina the upstairs tour? I'll show David here around downstairs, give your mom a chance to cool off." Dad suggests, smothering his laugh but unable to hide the humor in his eyes.

"Sure thing, pops." I take Sarina's hand and lead her inside where my mother is looking through the cabinets and pantry to find something to add to the jug of lemon flavored booze. I show her the downstairs living room that's on the way to the stairs and take her up and show her the movie room, game room, bathroom and then go to take her to my room.

"What's in that room?" She asks pointing to my brothers old room.

"That was my brothers room." I say, a strained, forced smile on my face.

She's quick to apologize but I shake my head, "It's okay. Come on in, just don't be too hard on me, I was a highschooler last time I lived in here."

Opening the door, I sigh as I see my old Counting Crows, Gin Blossoms, Reel Big Fish, Rammstein, Goo Goo Dolls, and a ton of other bands I listen to plastered over every inch of every wall. My shelves have some books, some high school yearbooks, a few trophies I earned over the years too. My desk still had my old monster sized computer on it, probably still using Windots XP on it if I turned it on and probably still full of games and low pixelated pictures of naked chicks hiding deep in some folder icons.

"Wow, you really covered every inch of this room." Sarina says turning her gaze up to the ceiling, smirking. "I see you had a thing for Christina Applegate and Pamela Anderson... Did you look at those at night while you would touch yourself?" She asks, biting her lower lip as I struggle to overcome the embarrassment of being called out over my teenage boy actions.

"I was a teenager?" I shrug, making her chuckle.

"It's okay, I had a thing for the Backstreet Boys and Heath Ledger." Her smile scrunches up her face as she smothers a chuckle, "But I would think about them kissing me," she clears her throat, "not ..."

I cut her off, grabbing her in my arms, "You know," I say growling, making her anxiously giggle as I pull her onto the bed on my lap, "your just being mean, teasing me. I think I should punish you for that..." I nip the nape of her neck, playfully, making her gasp and then moan as I suck at her skin.

"Brian..." She whines, wiggling in my lap, sending my hands over her body to touch her and hold her still. "We're at your parents house." She spreads her legs as my hand caresses her inner thighs.

Chuckling, I whisper huskily into her ear, "Yet you comply so willingly..." running my fingers in circles up her inner thighs, with just enough pressure to make her breathing increase. "You want me to touch you, Sarina?" I ask, nibbling on her ear, my breath heavy against her skin.

"Yes." Breathlessly, she leans her head to the side, giving me free access to her neck.

I nibble her neck as my hand inches closer to the apex of her thighs. Right as I'm about to touch her, I stop and stand up, "Come on, don't want my folks thinking we're being naughty under their roof." I snicker as her jaw drops in shock at being turned on and shut down so quickly and head towards the door as she huffs.

"Brian, you ass!" She grits out through her teeth.

I pause and stick my tongue out at her, "Nah nah nah," I tease her, "It's not nice to tease people is it?" I laugh as she lunges at me but I shoot down the hall to the banister, laughing as I slide down to the first floor as she growls from the top of the stairs. She hurries down the stairs but I tear off through the kitchen and out the back door, Sarina, hot on my heels.

Once outside, she's chasing me, her brother warning me, "You can't run forever, Doc! She's going to pin you and then you're fu...! He doesn't complete his sentence, as Sarina tackles and pins me to the ground in a hold.

David is laughing, "That's right sis! Octopus Hold! Woo hoo!"

My dad is cracking up and my mother is just staring wide eyed asking, "What in the world did you do to piss her off?"

"Nothing mom! I swear!" I'm laughing as Sarina scoffs at me.

"Nothing?! HAH! He was just being a turd trying to tease me and thought he could get away with it and run."

David is cracking up, in tears as he tries to tell me, "Don't you know better than to run from a woman? They're like a tiger and will chase you!"

My dad cracks in, "She must enjoy the hunt!"

Sarina lets me up, as she smugly dusts her hands off, "Didn't even have to worry about grass stains." She mutters loud enough only for me to hear.

I swiftly dart and grab her by her knees and throw her over my shoulder, smacking her ass once for good measure.

"She may enjoy the hunt, but I enjoy the kill!" I laugh as she squeals, gripping her knees.
