The direction of the barrage started to shift after Fu Yue's amazing teleport play.
[I have always wanted to say this but 404 is really strong! It is not merely luck that he crushed the enemy mid-laner twice! Pity that he got scolded just because he is an Omega!]
[There is a reason why Tian Meng is willing to sign him at a high salary and Silence openly defends him on the internet! Why can't others understand this???]
[I am confused as to why people are hating on such a talented and beautiful person??? Like what? If anything, his popularity should have skyrocketed with this kind of skill and face!]
[Pretty sure the situation would have played out differently had he been an Alpha :/]
[My Chenyue CP >.<]
[These brainless people get lost!]
[It is all thanks to my husband! That Omega is just leeching him off!]
[... Are you blind? Anyone with an eye could see that it was 404 who set up everything.]
[I was wondering why 404 got scolded so much on the internet. I guess it was because disgusting people like you guys existed. You are just envious because 404, a beautiful and talented Omega can be so close to your male god :)]
Fu Yue might have been painted in a bad light due to some crazy fans who were obsessed with Wei Chen but with his appearance alone, he actually amassed a lot of fans.
Now that he was actually playing well, even neutral fans started to defend him.
Both sides were pretty even and refused to back down. Even the moderators had trouble keeping the live barrage in check.
Despite the commotion on the internet, the game continued and it was quite bleak for YL.
Thanks to the pressure in the mid-lane and jungle, the side lanes didn't dare act up.
After XiaoXi's addition to the team, YL's core shifted to the bot-lane. They have been finding success with this strategy.
To defeat this reformed YL, the enemy team needed to catch XiaoXi who was their main damage dealer.
However, the problem was that XiaoXi had too many bodyguards.
Last year, Tian Meng's middle road was weak and the wild area was attacked causing them to lose against YL.
Yet, at this moment, Tian Meng's momentum was so strong that YL had to find a miracle fight to bring them back to the game.
Commentator A remarked, "Except for a small lead in the top lane, YL is behind in everything. The Young Saint is spawning soon which would be bad if YL were to give this away too!"
Commentator B nodded, "If Tian Meng took this objective and dropped it in the mid-lane the damage would be unimaginable. The map and wild area would be more accessible for Tian Meng. The worst of all, Chase, on the side lane, would be a menace!"
Ah Hua glanced at Chase's items and felt his balls hurt.
They were both mid-laners but their items were one and a half apart!
How unscientific! This is still an early game!
Is this still that beautiful-looking Omega that he saw a while ago???
Ah Hua admitted that after seeing what Tian Meng's Omega mid-laner looked like, he didn't take him seriously at all.
He thought that it was a pity that the other party didn't debut as an idol but instead came here to suffer.
He even felt bad a moment ago as he was going to bully this great beauty.
But at this moment, he painfully realized how wrong he was.
Having directly played against him, Ah Hua knew better than anyone else how strong his lane opponent was in terms of mechanical skills.
Ah Hua even had an illusion that he was not playing against a rookie but a veteran player.
It was a mistake to underestimate him which led to the current situation.
Unfortunately, there is no medicine for regret in this world so Ah Hua could only try his hardest not to fall even further behind.
At the moment, he was trying to farm when all of a sudden, Chase once again engaged on him.
Fortunately, this time his blink ability was up, and he managed to escape. But after being hit by Chase's combo, more than half of his HP was already gone.
Ah Hua nervously spoke, "Chase is moving into the river. I think they are going to take the Young Saint!"
XiaoXi and Milky were already rotated over to contest for the Young Saint. WuWei hurriedly cleared his wolf camps and solemnly said, "We can't let this go. Let's fight!"
They might be behind in gold but their bot-lane rotated faster than Tian Meng's which gave them the number advantage.
Ah Hua was torn between going back to recover his health and joining in the fight. Ultimately, he decided to stick with his team.
Commentator A spoke, "YL is not giving up this Young Saint! Tian Meng's bot-lane will be arriving late for the fight since they had to catch the bot wave! This is going to be 5 Vs 3. YL has quite a good chance of winning."
However, Commentator B was not optimistic about YL's victory, "I don't know about that. This looks pretty bad to me. I think they should have gone to take the dragon and let Ah Hua go back to replenish his health."
When YL arrived, Wei Chen and Zhao Fu reduced the Young Saint's health down to 70%.
Moving ahead cautiously, XiaoXi warned, "Be careful. Chase is missing."
His words just dropped when Chase suddenly jumped out of the bush, stole Qiao, and used it on them.
Qiao's big move was a big area of rooting ability. You can dodge by standing behind someone, spell-shielding, or using nullify.
XiaoXi had already expected this and stood behind his support. However, he hadn't done anything yet when Wei Chen and Zhao Fu dropped the objective and immediately followed up with Fu Yue's engage.
Thanks to Fu Yue's setup, Zhao Fu activated his big move and could easily knock three people in the air.
Wei Chen, on the other hand, dashed into the enemy team without any fear and kicked XiaoXi who was hiding behind his Support in Fu Yue's direction.
Having food delivered into his mouth, Fu Yue responded by stunning him and hitting him with a full combo, easily taking away XiaoXi's head.
[TM_404 has slain YL_XiaoXi!]
XiaoXi who couldn't even lift his finger: "..."
Seeing that XiaoXi was already dead, WuWei used his ult trying to disengage.
Wei Chen got rooted but he fired his Q and accurately hit the runaway Qiao. With recast Q, he flew toward Qiao but WuWei responded by laying down the rocks and stunned him mid-air.
However, in the end, Qiao was not a match for Li and still fell under the latter's hands.
[TM_Silence has slain YL_WuWei!]
In the meantime, Zhao Fu was losing the fight against YL's top laner and support. Thankfully, Fu Yue quickly joined in to make up for the damage and took away YL's top laner's head.
[TM_404 has slain YL_Meat Bun!]
[TM_404 is unstoppable!]
Commentator A regretfully sighed, "Ah Hua is not relevant to the fight as he got poked by 404 before the team fight! Now he could only run away with his tail tugged between his legs!"
Commentator B shook his head, "Chase is too big! He is two levels ahead of top laners! Milky ran away but met Alphabet and BlackLotus halfway! Chase is now 5/0/4! Tian Meng just took 4 kills with zero casualty!"
A big cheer erupted from the crowd and Tian Meng's fans chanted their team's name out loud.
The arena was filled to the brim with a rush of adrenaline, even both commentators were affected.
Commentator A applauded, "Seriously, Silence plays well in this game but my vote will go to 404! He pushed mid-wave, maiming Mo before a team fight, stole Qiao's Ult, and rooted three people!"
Commentator B agreed with his statement, "404 has been phenomenal in this game! The middle road is no longer a weakness in Tian Meng!"
[Ahhhhhh Si-ge is really handsome!!!!]
[Where did Tian Meng pick up this kind of gem???]
[If 404 could keep up this level of performance, Tian Meng will be a force to be reckoned with this season!]
[Silence is flying in this game!! How long has it been since he could play this comfortably?! TT]
The game was progressively getting worse each time for YL.
It was not an exaggeration to say that Tian Meng took whatever they could leaving no stone unturned.
In 2 minutes, YL lost 6 kills, 2 objectives, and three outer-towers.
So far, they haven't even harvested a single kill…
As a regional champion from the last season, this is a devastating result.
XiaoXi wrinkled his nose, not knowing what to feel in this situation.
Not long ago, he laughed at TB for getting beaten one-sidedly by Tian Meng. He even remembered praising Fu Yue for putting on such a good show.
But who would have thought that he would experience the same thing one month later?
Looking at the state of the game, it was only a matter of time before their crystal got destroyed.
Despite being in a dire state, XiaoXi was still calm. Spotting Chase bringing a line of soldiers down the bot lane, he said, "Meat Bun, Milky come with me to catch Chase. Ah Hua and WuWei go check the Saint."
Everyone quickly got into their position. Meat Bun wrapped around from behind whereas XiaoXi and Milky confronted Fu Yue head-on.
Commentator A: "YL sent three people to catch 404. In the meantime, Tian Meng is rushing the Saint! If 404 were to die, Meat Bun could just teleport to join in the fight top side! All WuWei and Ah Hua have to do is delay as much as possible!"
Commentator B: "Qiao and Mo have poking abilities! As long as they didn't get caught, YL coul–"
[TM_404 has slain YL_XiaoXi!]
[TM_404 is dominating!]
"What just happened?!" Both commentators shouted in unison.
The camera that had just shifted to the Saint pit hurriedly switched back to the bot lane.
There stood an increase in the size Chase which was an obvious hint that he had activated Meat Bun's big move.
Although he was supposed to be in a disadvantageous position, his health bar was still quite healthy.
How in the world did he manage to kill someone despite 1 vs 3?!
A few moments ago.
The corner of Fu Yue's lips curled, "Three people are here. I'll stall."
Wei Chen lightly replied, "Got it."
Despite being cornered, Fu Yue had no intention of retreating.
He calmly stole Meat Bun's ult, then used his E on the support to pull himself over to get closer to XiaoXi.
Activating Meat Bun's big move increased his defense and healed himself by 35% based on the damage dealt.
Kaze's attack range was not that big so Fu Yue could gap-close on him so easily.
However, XiaoXi reacted quickly and he instantly blinked away to widen their distance while firing his Q.
Fu Yue side-stepped his Q as he patiently waited for his ability to come back on.
Knowing what he was about to do, the moment XiaoXi saw Chase's moving animation, he immediately flashed–Only to be hit by his bandages!
XiaoXi's eyes widened in shock.
This guy actually predicted his flash?!
Commentator A excitedly pointed at the screen, "404 predicted his flash! He is really bold to do this in such a dangerous situation!"
Commentator B was more rational than his colleague and said, "Since 404 still has his flash even if he were to miss, it would be okay. But, he took the gamble and it worked! The question is can Meat Bun and Milky kill him?"
The answer is–No.
[TM_404 has slain YL_Meat Bun!]
[TM_404 has slain YL_Milky!]
[TM_404 is godlike!]
Both commentators shouted in disbelief, "He won a 1 vs 3 fight! What is this guy?! He is so ruthless!"
[TM_Alphabet has slain YL_WuWei!]
[The red team has slain the Saint!]
[TM_Silence has slain YL_Ah Hua!]
[Ace!]
Fu Yue with the Saint Buff broke through the enemy base and regrouped with his team.
[Victory!]
Taking off the headsets, a deafening cheer pierced his ears and Fu Yue couldn't help but pause.
"404!"
"404, 666!"
Fu Yue slowly looked up at the crowd.
Despite being unable to make out their appearance in these dimly lit surroundings, he could feel their smiles and eyes on him.
Hearing his name reverberated throughout the arena, his steady heartbeat suddenly picked up its pace.
Nostalgia instantly washed over him.
This was not even a big game or an important match but Fu Yue couldn't help but indulge himself a bit in this moment.
The cameraman pointed the camera at the silver-haired young man and soon, everyone sucked in a deep breath.
Long lustrous silver hair sparkled under the studio light, and his fair skin was flawless without any blemishes.
His light violet eyes slightly bent and the corner of his lips picked up into a beautiful smile.
A moment ago, people were clamoring about how handsome and ruthless he was in the game.
But at this moment.
On his overly exquisite face was a genuine smile and as he excitedly waved his hands toward the crowds, he looked more like an excited child.
