Chapter 28 - Unexpectedly Match Against a Master-Tier Streamer (2)

"For K we're going to max Q first."

K's other two abilities were support spells for his survivability that's why his Q was the most important ability for the wave clear and poking.

At level 1 Fu Yue learned Q and the instant he hit level 2, he learned W.

He could easily get all the cs whereas Sen could only get two minions and was denied almost a whole wave's gold and Exp by him.

Sen knew beforehand that this matchup was going to be a disaster. Even though it was painful to farm under the turret, Sen remained calm waiting for his jungler to finish clearing his chickens.

Sen kept targeting K telling his jungler to come since he was standing right in front of the turret. He even purposely didn't dodge K's Q to bait the latter to stay.

However, due to this reckless play, Sen used all of his health potions just to keep his health around 40%. What was even worse was that K was merciless and kept on alternating between auto-attacking him and the turret.

Rationally, Sen should learn his Q to set up for a gank. However, with his current health not only he was unable to participate in the upcoming fight he couldn't stay for the wave either which was a huge loss even if they were to manage to kill K later on.

Thinking that it should be enough with Shadow's damage at level 2, Sen decided to get his E before his Q so that he could remain in lane.

Still, Sen underestimated the player behind K.

Despite him playing around the edge of K's max spell range, Sen still got hit by K who seemed to be able to predict his next position easily.

In addition, K was extremely good at spacing which made Sen look like a coward who allowed K to shoot him from far away for free without showing any resistance.

[A/N: Auto-attack spacing or spacing is where you move rapidly towards and away from enemy champions to simultaneously get in range to attack while staying out of range of their attacks.]

While Sen was sweating nervously, Fu Yue was teaching his viewers in a casual tone, "It is easy to predict Sen's position. He could ignore the melee and caster minions but he was unable to let the cannon go. His auto range was shorter than mine so inevitably he needed to be in my range to be able to take it."

Just as Fu Yue said this his allied cannon minion was about to die and Sen was seen inching closer preparing to last hit it.

Yet, before Sen was able to do so he suddenly got blinded causing him to lose his vision. An alarm bell started to go off in his head, he immediately flashed without having any second thoughts.

Unfortunately, K reacted at a frightened speed and followed with Q flash easily getting his head as first blood.

Due to his perfect input buffering, K simply took one turret shot. As he was still healthy he brazenly auto-attacked the turret a few more times to get one plate before walking back to his turret.

[A/N: Input buffering = The practice of queuing up an ability to be used so that it fires off instantly after certain other abilities or summoner spells.]

However, K was just halfway back when Shadow suddenly walked out from the botside bush.

Seeing the antagonist Bear finally appear, everyone did not dare to look at the screen as K's abilities and flash were all on cooldown.

Even though K had already hit level 3 and could learn E to dash away, Shadow was able to stay on him with his teleport E. Not to mention, K did take one turret shot not long ago, it was just a matter of time before K died to Shadow.

Seeing a free kill appear right in front of his eyes, Bear evilly chuckled, "This K is really stupid. He pushed too far, flashed, and even became greedy for the plate. If he had just a single brain cell, he should have known that I am going to visit him soon. Had he left after killing Sen he would have lived too tsk, tsk."

Bear was still level 2 since he did not get a full clear bot camp but he learned W and E so it was enough to kill a squishy K.

Shadow's W had two charges. First, you could put two clones in any position that you wanted within the ability's range. Pressing W again caused all his clones to slash forward dealing magic damage based on the target's missing health.

As long as his clones were still present, they would copy Shadow's movements. In other words, fighting Shadow while his clones were still alive was like courting death.

It was especially so when he used his R together with his two clones. Due to this kit of his, Shadow was said to be a 1 vs 5 champ and could perform so many outplays.

For instance, Zizi's Shadow from last night was able to assassinate XiaoXi and his support despite fighting 1 vs 3.

Having a good Shadow player on your team would terrorize the whole map as he could go invisible to avoid vision while roaming the jungle.

It was simply a nightmare for every ADC or glass cannon having Shadow in the game. For Fu Yue to dare lock in K despite seeing Shadow as a jungler was indeed a foolish move.

He either underestimated the player behind Shadow or he was overconfident about his skills.

Regarding this topic, Bear simply viewed K as a stupid player and was not worried about being outplayed by him.

Seeing K cowardly run away without even daring to auto-attack him, Bear gave a big laugh.

Shadow's passive: Hitting the enemy champions or jungle monsters with auto-attacks would apply a black mark which further increased his damage by 5%.

Shadow's basic combo should be WAAW. On an occasion that your target dashed or flashed you could follow up with your teleport E.

[A/N: AA = Auto-attack.]

Bear relaxedly pressed W to create two clones. He placed one close to K's turret while another one was blocking the path into the enemy's red jungle.

By blocking his retreating paths K was forced to either get hit by one of his clones' attacks or preemptively stepped back to avoid them.

Either way, the victory would be his.

K seemed to think that getting hit by one of his clones would be okay so he chose to dash toward his turret.

Bear saw he dashed so he followed with his E to let K eat a double auto-attack and W which should be enough to kill him.

His play was not wrong except for K was not willing to play his role according to his script.

The moment Bear reappeared in front of his turret he was instantly blinded by K.

Being blind did not render your abilities useless but Bear was unable to auto-attack K which caused his clones to stand still without doing anything.

Just as Bear was about to step out of the smoke area he unexpectedly got hit by K's Q followed by two more auto-attack.

"This damn K!"

Seeing his health drop to almost half in the blink of an eye, Bear's mood became tense. When he regained his vision K had already arrived safely under his turret.

Shadow's W second charge had a time limit. If not pressed within this period, this ability would be put on cooldown.

One of his clones teleported to be right next to K so Bear quickly pressed W which could easily hit his target chunking off quite a bit of his health in return.

Quickly calculating the damage, Bear decisively flashed under the turret to auto-attack him together with his clone which should be more than enough to kill K.

As victory was in sight, Bear completely forgot about one crucial matter.

K brought a flash and shield as his summoner spells...

Due to this mistake, Bear flashed in only to see K enveloped with a huge shield blocking all of his damage. K did not waste time attacking him during this split second so after getting one turret shot Bear was no longer alive and kicking.

"Double Kill!"

"Fuck! I forgot that he brought a shield!"

Bear angrily cursed under his breath upon seeing the gray screen. He was ashamed due to this counter-kill on his gank but he refused to admit that the other side was good.

Instead, he mockingly said, "He has a flash, dash, and even blind. He still brought a shield, what a coward!"

His fans also chimed in to scold K which somewhat lifted Bear's sour mood.

Unlike Bear's gloomy mood, on Fu Yue's side, gifts were pouring in as his audiences were celebrating left and right.

[LMAO, I bet Bear wanted to thrash his keyboard after that failed gank haha feels so refreshing~]

[I was wondering why Yueyue did not dash the moment Bear appeared, it turned out that he was baiting for his W]

[I think Yueyue has no intention of simply running away. Instead, he was plotting to kill Bear by baiting with his shield]

Fu Yue gave this friend praise, "You're smart."

[Wow, so suave]

[Keke]

As Fu Yue was recalling back to the base, he casually explained the previous 1 vs 2 fight.

''I knew that Shadow started with his red but he would not come without clearing his chickens first. Therefore, I had enough time to kill Sen before he arrived in my lane. In addition, I did Q flash instead of flash Q so I took only one turret shot which guaranteed enough health for the next fight with Shadow."

Pathing back to mid, Fu Yue continued, "To cut me off, the best route for him to take was through the river into the botside bush and then place his clones as he did previously to block my retreat paths. I could have blinded him the moment he appeared so that he could not press W but I didn't do that because I wanted him to use it.

Let's say that I blinded him before he pressed W. It would only take him 2 seconds to be able to walk out of the smoke area. Afterward seeing that I was already under my turret he would place two clones under my turret unlike before.

Face with this scenario, even if I dashed I would still be in the range of the clones' attacks so I was likely to get hit by his full triple combos. In the end, I could only activate my shield and then went back without killing him.''

[( ͡⊙ ͜ʖ ͡⊙) Hold up… Your brain can think that much during that split second?]

[Upstairs… It turns out that he really can…]

[So you're telling me that while previously running for your dear life, you were actually thinking of how to kill him? As a result, you purposely got hit by his W to bait him into the turret?! (っ-̶●̃0●̶̃)っ]

[666]

[666]

[A/N: 666 = A slang for awesome.]

Along with praises, Fu Yue also amassed a lot of gifts due to his awesome outplay especially against Bear at that.

True to his words, Fu Yue did farm under the turret.

Fearlessly, he stood in front of the enemy's turret while poking Sen :)
