Appa finally gained his fight back, and the group flew past the southern air temple.
Along the way, Keo Practiced his water bending with Katara. They quickly figured out that Keo was terrible at moving water around in the air, but he did have a few special skills. Keo was very fast with small amounts of water and was particularly good at turning water into ice. For the whole Trip, Keo made weapons- mainly arrows and knives out of ice - he also experimented with making shards of ice to shoot out, but they quickly decommissioned once they started moving.
Keo had another idea -- one that was risky. He called it 'body strengthening'; it was a kinda reverse blood-bending deal; body strengthening used Keos' knowledge of human anatomy to use water to reform muscles. It was an extremely complex process that Keo had began to map out.
Everyone was keeping to themselves on the ride to Kyoshi island, Sokka was messing with Keos' bow, and Katara was practicing water bending, but Aang was predominantly downcast; he had been struck by the fact that fire benders attacked the southern air temple.
"Aang, it really has been a hundred years; you are the last airbender left. It seems clear to me what you need to do."
"What is there left? You don't know what it's like, I feel like I'm in a different world. Everyone, all of my friends, are gone."
"The same is happening to thousands of people, villages are being burned, and people are being rapidly killed by the fire nation. That's why we need to defeat Ozai, and then you can start rebuilding the air nomads, and maybe even unite all benders, to create a system where times like this never reoccur."
Aang looked up a Keo, and hope had returned to his eyes.
"Keo, how did you know the fire nation ship was going to attack?" Sokka asked.

"I've always had these daydreams of future events that inevitably happened, and things that are yet to happen, I didn't really start paying attention to them, until recently."
"So you're like a seer? OH! Do I marry a pretty lady or a fierce warrior 🧐?" said Sokka.
"She has huge banzoinkadoiks 👍"
Katara sent a spurt of water at Keo.
"Seriously though, my visions depicted us visiting different places, gathering forces to mount an attack deep into fire nation territory eventually."
