The people outside the club looked at the private room with their eyes wide and curious. Who wouldn't want to know what Ilyana Zhou was doing behind the curtains? Even though Ilyana had always been private, it was the first time she had ever openly showed her authority to Blaire, only to save a nameless waiter. Added by the new rumors that her position had been revoked, they all questioned why instead of acquiring back her position, she decided to spend her day with the unknown waiter.
Was he that special to Ilyana? Was he that handsome?
Ilyana who was hidden behind the thick curtains that was only enough to give her shadow to the outside view could tell what everyone was thinking just by sitting on her place. She also knew how she should be panicking now that her mother have revoked her only ally to become Pandora's heir. But Lev's words offered her a comfort that made her think she doesn't want to leave this place yet. She just wanted to stay with him and see his words that gave her a peace of mind without being deliberate as if he was licking her shoes.
"Love," Ilyana whispered. The space between them was so small that her breaths could casually brush his cheeks, making Lev to feel flustered on his seat. Ilyana could see everything in his mind from his actions and the way he was so readable was too adorable beyond her capacity. "Why have you stopped pouring me drinks?"
Lev gulped as he looked at how she had emptied the whole bottle of liquor alone. Although the rice wine have quite the slow effect, it was still strong enough to make someone pass out at any second now but Ilyana look far away from being tipsy. Instead she seemed to be drunk in something else as her gaze never once left him. Under her sharp gaze that was too seductive, Lev felt as if his finger would make a dumb mistake and just as he thought of so, his finger slipped and the crystal clear glass fell down to the ground.
His green almond eyes widened as his face turn pale when he realized just what a great mistake he had done. He turned around and saw Ilyana's face as she was as shocked at him. Her eyes narrow in a split of second and at once she reached out her hand, startling him who expected a slap.
Ilyana had been in a good mood but Lev knows what happen when someone of her power loses her good mood and became angered. He shut his eyes tightly only for silence to fill the room.
Slowly peeking between the gaps of his long lashes, he tried to find Ilyana, finding her looking at him in surprise. She grabbed his wrist that was much bigger than hers and yanked him near her, "Are you alright? You didn't hurt yourself with the shards, did you?"
Lev stared at her, shocked by how she was worried about him instead of her broken glass. This should be normal outside but at least not inside the club where the westerners are viewed lesser than a slave. Feeling somewhat moved, his green eyes turned a little reddish. "No… I didn't. I am so sorry for the broken glass," he then quickly darted his attention to the broken glass and was about to touch the broken shards when she tugged his hands again.
"Let someone else clean it. Seeing how clumsy you are I'm scared you will wound yourself," Ilyana smiled when he looked away and blushed, appearing to be embarrassed as he had looked clumsy in front of her.
"I don't usually broke any glass. This is my first time.. I was just feeling a little nervous," he quickly gave his reason. "I'm sorry again for the glass… earlier the other waiter told me how that is your favorite glass."
"That is actually my favorite glass, they weren't wrong. My mother gave me on my sixteenth birthday. The stained glass comes from Germany, one of a kind as the glassmaker died after making it," Ilyana said for Lev to look guilty as he realized what kind of a big mistake he made. He didn't angered her, he disappointed her. Sometimes disappointing hurts more than making someone angry.
"I'm sorry…. I would say that I will try my best to buy them again but if it's one of a kind…" Lev trailed. He bowed again his head, "If there's anything you want me to do, don't hesitate to ask me. I think this is the only way for me to ask for your forgiveness."
"Well that's okay. I didn't really liked the meaning behind the glass since my mother killed the glassmaker and took it as a trophy," Ilyana uttered and chuckled after seeing Lev whose eyes widened as though shocked how her mother was someone dangerous. She then tapped his wrists, her delicate fingers found how his big hands that feels strongly in comparison to his pretty face. "You will do anything?"
Upon her question, Lev felt as if he should be careful before replying to her question. However he had said what he did and nodded his head to confirm her guess.
Ilyana didn't know what to do. Lev was so pretty. So pretty and so fragile in her eyes. His sharp chiseled chin, his blonde hair that appeared like the golden sun, and his almond green eyes that melts when he looked at her, everything about him was so damn beautiful that she would do anything to capture his beauty in her hands.
Her long fingers climbed from his wrist to the curve of his neck where she could feel his throat bobbed feeling her hands on him. Her eyes narrowed gently, "Really? Anything?"
Lev nodded his head, he could smell the sweet scent from her but more than sweet, her fragrance was somewhat irresistibly spicy and clean.
"Then spend the night with me," Ilyana whispered, holding to his neck and perhaps by chance landing on his most vital nerves.
Lev's eyes turned even wider as his cheeks turned red to the tip of his ears, he couldn't moved as Ilyana pushed his neck to the back of the couch, pinning him on his spot. Her fingers crawled over to his chin where her lips curled as he felt her eyes studying his features, the way she eyed him felt as if she was deliberating how she should devour him.
"Spend the night…?" Lev's words were breathy as he felt if he spoke any louder, their lips will brush against each others.
"Why, am I too ugly for you?" Ilyana pulled one side of her lips in a grin.
Lev didn't know what had come into him as the moment she had asked that he shook his head as vigorously as he could, strongly denying how she had called herself ugly. Ilyana felt even more intrigued as she could tell Lev could have pushed her away but he didn't. She wondered if it was because he feared she would kill him but then she noticed how he had hold her waist, to make sure that she wouldn't fall off from the couch while she rested both her hands on his chest.
"So…" Ilyana who saw this action of his whispered. "One night with me. I will make sure you won't regret spending tonight with me and if you do, you could always ask me to take for responsibility."
Lev's eyes weaken as his resolve was shaken by her seductive voice.
He didn't know what he said but he knew for sure the hands that Ilyana had while pulling him out of the club was hot.
Everyone stared at them as it was the first time Ilyana had ever brought someone away from the club. The waiters were all shocked, including the guests who had been around to see Ilyana and her reaction after knowing she had been dropped from her promised seat. No one had expected that Ilyana had openly showed her interest on someone, even going so far to show that she was bringing him home from the club despite how today was suppose to be her worse day.
Samuel Zhou, her cousin who had been around with the idea that he could make fun of her wasn't expecting her to leave with the pretty westerner who she had been drinking with. His mouth was left gape as he saw Lev was chosen by Ilyana.
But Ilyana and Lev couldn't be concerned of what others were thinking while staring at them. They simply tightened the hold they had on each other's hands and rushed to the floor above the club, the secret hotel that was only used by the VIP customers. The moment Ilyana had opened the door to her room, she pushed Lev to the nearest wall, her hand rolled the long necktie on his white shirt as she tugged his face to come closer to hers.
