Chapter 3 - Awakening in the Womb

As I slowly regained consciousness, I felt a strange, unfamiliar sensation. I couldn't see, hear, or sense anything, and for a moment, I was confused. I had no idea where I was. But as time passed, I began to understand what was happening. I was inside my mother's womb.

"What is this place?" I thought to myself, "Why can't I see, hear, or sense anything?" My mind was racing with questions, but I had no answers. It was an entirely new and overwhelming experience.

As I adjusted to my new surroundings, I realized that my wish from my past life as John had been fulfilled. I was no longer the John Reaver as in my past life, but a baby with a brand new life ahead of me. I couldn't help but be awestruck by the miracle that had happened.

But at the same time, I felt a sense of laziness. I didn't want to start a new life filled with drama and excitement. All I wanted was a peaceful, calm existence. I knew that I wouldn't be able to control everything that would happen in my life, but I hoped for the best according to my standards.

Days passed and I felt the love and care my parents had for me even before I was born. I could feel their excitement and happiness as they talked about me and my arrival. My mother, whom I later learned was named Sarah, had a joyful and teasing personality. She was always singing or talking to me, and I could sense her love and excitement for my arrival.

My father, on the other hand, was a bit more aloof. He didn't talk to me as much as my mother did, but I could feel his love and care for me nonetheless. His name was Michael, and I later learned that he was just reserved and kept his emotions close to his chest, but he loved his family deeply.

Sarah: "Hello there little one, are you ready for the big world outside?" she said, rubbing her belly.

Michael: "I think he's still getting used to everything. But I'm sure he'll be just fine," he added with a smile.

Sarah: "I hope so. I just want him to live life however he wants and not feel any pressure. No matter what kind of personality he has, he'll always be loved and forgiven by us," she said, kissing her belly.

Michael: "Agreed. We just want him to be happy and healthy. That's all that matters," he said, placing a hand on her belly.

Sarah: "Hey baby, can you hear us?" she asked.

To their surprise, they felt a tiny kick from inside.

Sarah: "Did you feel that?" she said, looking at Michael with amazement.

Michael: "Yes, I did. He's already so strong," he said, smiling.

Sarah: "Baby, can you tell us if you're a boy or a girl? One kick for yes and two for no," she said.

The baby kicked once.

Sarah: "Aww, it's a boy!" she exclaimed.

Michael: "Looks like we have a little man on our hands," he said, chuckling.

Sarah: "Baby, can you show us how smart you are? One kick for yes and two for no," she said.

The baby kicked twice.

Sarah: "Aww, you're going to keep us guessing, aren't you?" she said, laughing.

Michael: "That's just the beginning. I'm sure he'll keep us on our toes," he said, smiling.

And with that, their journey as parents to this new little life had begun. They couldn't wait to see what kind of person he would become and what adventures he would embark on.

"This is going to be a great life," I thought to myself, "I have loving parents and a clean slate to start with."

But as I lay there, feeling the warmth and comfort of my mother's womb, I couldn't help but wonder what kind of person I would become. Would I be successful and happy? Would I make my parents proud?

"Only time will tell," I thought, "But for now, I'll just enjoy the peace and calm of being inside the womb."

As time went on, I grew stronger and healthier, and before I knew it, the day of my birth had arrived. My mother went into labor, and I felt myself being pushed out of the comfort and safety of my mother's womb.

With a loud cry, I entered the world as a healthy baby boy. My new life had officially begun.

"Here we go," I thought, "Bring on the adventures and challenges that come with being alive."
