Chaffy Bibblebottom was a millionaire philanthropist. Beloved by all, he had done many great things for his community. He had built orphanages and homeless shelters, food kitchens and rehab centers. He never put on airs or believed himself better than anyone else. He drove no fancy cars or anything like that. A very pragmatic man, Chaffy dressed plainly. His only defining features were his kind face, purple hat, and scarf. Chaffy would spend his free time playing street soccer with the kids, and exchanging banter with the elders in the town square. Chaffy was so well liked by all people that the entire town closed for mourning on the day his death was announced. This saint-like man had been murdered brutally. Chopped into tens of pieces and strewn around the park. His head, the only intact part of him, found by a group of children playing in the park the next day. The community was never the same and the killer was never found.
