Chereads / The Great Kek / Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

It took seven days for us to cut down the trees and build up crude but effective wooden walls with wooden spikes along the base of them. During those seven days, I also built better shelters for me and my soldiers. I used leaves and the spiders webbing to make beds. We each have our own homes. I made a weapons rack with sticks and webbing to hold our weapons and tools.

The creature with the axes on its head I used to make our own axes with I also took the bone like armor off its legs to make a crude shield with. I also used its skull and made a crude helmet that I now wear. I also made wooden shields for my soldiers which made me think of a new name for them. I think I might call them frogs from now on as it's simple.

I've been planning to attack the spider's nest that my frogs found about 3 days ago. I want to bring all of my frogs with me but at the same time I want at least two frogs here to defend just in case. I also want to try and tame either a spider or the axe headed monster. I think I might try and tame one of the axe creatures nearby as they seem to be solitary creatures.

I decided to look at my status before I set out.

Seeing that I am set and ready to go I also decided to leave two frogs here to defend the place. As I was setting out with my trusty spear and bone shield and helmet, I had two frogs up front while I was in the middle with the remaining three frogs in the back. While we were marching to the last known location of the axe head, we came across a boar to which we killed and decided to use it as bait to lure the creature.

I had two frogs in a tree while the three other frogs hid in a bush while I was using {Sticky pads} to stick to a tree. While we waited, I decided to keep a look out for any spiders that might try to sneak up on us. We waited for half an hour and when I was beginning to give up, we heard a rustling nearby. It came charging out of the nearby bushes sniffing around and when its eye landed on the boar it dove to it.

While it was feasting, I got ready to jump on to its back to use some webbing that was made into a rope. But if that didn't work, we could try to make it submit in a fight. When everyone was in position I jumped onto its back and through the web rope around its arms. All of my frogs came out of their hiding spots and surrounded me and the beast.

It started to thrash around and good thing I had {Sticky pads} or else I would have fallen off. It was then I realized that I might have made a miss calculation because I don't know what I am doing. I started to think about what to do and how to steer it into a tree.

It went full force into the tree making a huge bang "BANNNG".

(Wait it said tame or knock out which means if I tamed it instead of knocking it out would I have gotten a better reward) I thought to myself sad at missing out on a better reward. Well, you know what they say don't cry over spilt chemicals. I noticed that I don't have anything tamed which means I need to tame this beast but how.

As if the pale green panel heard me, it showed me the answer.

{In order to tame what you call the axe head you would need to draw a symbol on it. I would recommend you draw a webbed hand on its stomach with your blood and fast as it will wake up soon.}

"Wait....you could talk this entire time!" I say as my frogs look at me concerned but looking at what the message says I hurried forward while cutting my hand. While I was drawing the symbol onto its stomach, I yelled out to my frogs to cover me.
