Fiona stood at the entrance of the exam hall holding her heart in her hands. She was in one of the four lines slowly proceeding into the building. Staffs were positioned at the beginning of each queue to check students for materials that could be considered examination malpractice. They used a simple screening spell, in form of a red circle surrounding their palm, to scan each student. The circle turned green once the student was confirmed clean.
After Fiona was screened, she was allowed to enter the hall. As if the concept of the test wasn't scary enough, the seats had been separated about a meter apart, with hellhounds watchfully pacing the space. The hall was divided into sections, representing the different grades of students. Fiona was guided to her section, where she found a seat. She nervously tapped her fingers on her desk, waiting for the script to be shared.
