"My baby" Chen Yi moaned out and crawled to the deadly scene dramatically, "Why! My baby! You bastard!!! You murdered my poor baby...huh?"
Han Yufan ignored the delusional Chen Yi and fixed his entire gaze on the man speaking gibberish by a corner in the suite. Unable to withstand such insanity, Han Yufan took impulsive steps toward the drunk man and lifted his crossed arms, disentangling them furiously.
"Wei Yuze!! You motherf**ker, do you have any idea how much this glass cup cost? Your whole existence...my poor baby!!" Chen Yi was seated on the ground in shackles as he tried to pick up the remaining pieces of the silver glasses shredded at every hub in the room. He opened his mouth to curse but due to the pain in his heart, it precluded him.
He mumbled, left in the lurch "It took me a year before I could book that extraordinary glass made of the finest silver. I had to pay double the amount worth two million dollars, but here...my darling is gone!! Shit!!"
"This has arrived with preternatural speed, Yuze...If you can't take that frustration anymore... Why squall them on yourself? She is back, right? Look everywhere...even if it has to be the east, north, or west...do it and confront her...she is the only solution...you are seeking answers, aren't you? Why do you have to cause this much pain and agony to yourself? Not only is it hurting or breaking you, but do you think it is any less for the people around you? Do you think I am happy with this attitude? My best friend was never like the way you are now!! Can you get your senses straight back?" Han Yufan raised a furor at the heartbroken man. His heart got heavy at the dire sight of his best friend.
Chen Yi veered around to look at them and immediately the intermediate loss of his two million dollars faded away.
"How can you understand his feelings, when all you do is flirt around women?" Chen Yi countered. He continued "Besides, she should have already met face to face with him and explained herself but that disgusting woman not only proved heartless but inflicted additional insult into a deep injury"
The color on Han Yufan's face muddied like a mist. He tried to talk the drunk man out of his daydream, however, Yuze's soul appeared dead.
"Did you know?" Finally came Yuze's husky voice, although, he still resisted lifting his head. The two other men exchanged glances at each other as they wondered what he meant. Chen Yi then remembered he had the pub opened. He took to his heel and left Han Yufan dealing with the dread man.
Alone, Han Yufan asked "Yuze, what the hell happened?"
"Did you know I could have become a father? I could have had a princess with me three years back and she would be about three years old. Did you know, Yufan?"
Confused, Han Yufan went on his knees to pacify the grown-up man "Try to explain clearly"
"Yufan, she aborted my baby because of her career...on that day, she took an innocent life... She..." Wei Yuze finally looked at him but the look on his face was disheartening and heart-wrecking. Han Yufan blinked, still unable to understand him.
Then a thought flashed "Hua was pregnant? How come!!"
Wei Yuze spoke in broken words "You remember Zhang Bin, who's the family doctor of the Chun family? I encountered her this afternoon... She told me... Yufan" He held onto his best friend's hand and began laughing "Hua, did she ever love me? Was our relationship back then a joke to her? Did brother Tiling betray me? Don't I have an explanation from both of them? I have been expecting their calls though...I thought if I went to her home, she'd be there, however, I was informed that she isn't allowed in there anymore. Do you think she returned to her hideout? When will she ever... Yufan, what do I do? I am helpless... I want to know the entire truth. What went wrong? Did I lack in anything and why did she not inform me of our baby? I also have an equal right to the child... She should have said something. Was she embarrassed? Was that the reason she left that day? Was it disgraceful to bear my child? Yes!! I know as a model and especially her agency, it was forbidden to gain weight, whereas having a child, but I deserved to know, to celebrate even if it were for a little moment... Yufan, tell me... Did I do something wrong? Was my love lacking then?"
Han Yufan scoffed tiredly "You are thinking too much"
"BUT I AM GOING CRAZY HERE!!"
Han Yufan balled his hand into a tight and vengeful fist "You are drunk, Yuze..."
Wei Yuze smiled deeply, while his eyes were in pain "Why hasn't Hua shown up? Do I have to wait forever?"
Annoyed at his repeated attitude, Han Yufan yanked him from the floor and yelled some sense to his brain "For f**king sake, forget that woman. You have a cooperating company as a huge burden already...Why did you get yourself drunk again? I am always the one clearing all your mess... You should be the one grateful for having a valuable friend like me... You dimwit!!"
Wei Yuze chuckled with a dry cough. He carried himself up but staggered backward a bit. He cupped Yufan's face full in between his palms and smirked drunkenly "That's why you have to stay by my side, twenty-four seven"
"Fuck you!!" Han Yufan cursed.
"Carry me, I am tired" Wei Yuze authorized.
"You are a pain in the ass, CEO Wei!!" Han Yufan admitted.
Yuze cracked up "As my assistant, you should listen to me"
"I should probably wire my resignation letter on your desk first thing tomorrow morning...you might get a reliable shock that will bring you back to your damn senses!!" Han Yufan concluded.
"You dare not!!"
"Then dare me harder"
"I dare you... Ah-ah-ah"
Han Yufan monitored closely how his best friend was attempting so hard to tame the sorrow inside his heart. He was usually someone who would help people and control their feelings, but the pain Chun Hua caused Yuze was unforgettable and unforgiving. He promised himself to induce five-fold of the misery back to her.
