Chapter 1 - Prologue

A forest of twisted and darkened trees, blackened flowers and cried grass, that is what was around me as I walked to my destination. My name is Pandora Von Welchdracke, although I should say former Von Welchdracke since I was disowned and banished by my father the duke and prime minister of the Kingdom of Lumina named after it's guardian dragon Lamina.

I am what you could consider a bad person in this world, a villainess if you will. This world is resembles a western Europe during the middle ages and also possesses magic and other mythical beasts that I a reincarnation from another world would consider only as myth and legend. It also bares a strong resemblence to the many dating sims my little sister played, although I don't know which one.

A guy who never once played such games before I found it hard to adjust but since I'm quite knowledgeable in history, I managed to scrape by, but it was already too late for me to enjoy the luxury of being a duke's daughter because when I regained my memories the story was already halfway through, judging from the lay out of such stories.

Enough of that though, right now I'm pisses and desire revenge for the stupid judgement placed upon me by the rulers of the kingdom. In order to get said revenge though I decided to go to were I knew to find someone who help. Although I needed their power, not their actual help.

The evil Dragon Abaddon.

In this world magic exists and is said to come from the the shaping and manipulation of one's own mana. The main elements are fire, water, wind, earth, space, light and dark. These elements are in a conflicting relationship, but light and dark are the rarest of the elements. The guardian dragon is said to possess the element of light and the only person lucky enough to be blessed by this dragon will be referred to as the dragon priestess on the Lumina kingdom. This person I assume is the heroine of this sad tale I'm forced to live.

Being born with the basic elements is lucky enough when considering the fact that 1 in every 100 people are born with the capability for magic, being born with 2 is even luckier but I the villainess was born with what I like to call the villain buff, the power to match the villainess in everyway and even be stronger than her to the point where she will need help in fighting me. This allowed me to be blessed with all the elements except light and dark.

Which is my I'm here seeking out the seal of Abaddon the dragon of the dark element. By subjugating or absorbing the dragon's power I should be able to overwhelm any force that might come to try something.

But I'm quite sure that I'm still going along with the script of the game or light=novel or whatever world this is. After a long track I reached the edge of the forest and looked at a dark boiling lake.

"Abaddon is sealed deep inside this lake." I said to myself, then I started setting up camp, I needed to rest before fighting the last boss.

After getting a good night sleep inside my tent I packed up and started my preparations, I strengthened my body by circling mana around it, then increased my cognitive abilities by using mana to super charge my brain, and nervous system. Following this I set up a image in my head. The space in front of me distorted and the barrier I wanted to create formed around the city sized lake in front of me.

Sky fall | I cast the lightning spell. Normally it would send numerous lightning bolts to the ground in rapid succession but with my mastery over the elements of fire and wind I managed to condensed the lightning into a single, powerful beam of plasma with heat far greater than that of the sun. The spell lasted less than 5 seconds but at the end the was nothing left of the lake. All that was below was a nigh darkness that was almost immediately blown away was a pillar of purple and a cloud of miasma.

I didn't have the glorious light magic that protects our heroine but a simple application of space magic made sure I wasn't affected. Miasma took the form of an almost sticky gas that corrupted and corroded all that it touched, a signature of darkness magic.

The seal was broken, I seemed my attack was enough to do so. Normally one would use some kind of ritual or any the like to break a seal on an evil like the dragon but I figured why not just pop the lid on the bottle holding the dragon. In this case the dark lake, or more specifically holy lake since it was light magic infused water that held the monster down with layers of runes around it.

"Finally after months of travel I get to face the great Abaddon and bend him to my will, how fun." I said joy welling up inside me despite the situation.

The pillar of purple light travelled and formed a dark cloud over head, grey clouds that sparked yellow and red lightning. Then a roar exploded out from the pit, followed by a rush of air. Within the pillar a monster appeared. I grinned.

"Look at you, such majesty. Now fall evil one!" I shouted and cast a preemptive strike. | Flame explosion chain | I cast one of my high tier spells. Now question what happens when you create an explosion in an enclosed space. Not only is the flame more dangerous but the force of the explosion is reflected back inward increasing the danger 10 fold.

Flame explosion chain creates 5 chain explosions an radius of 2 meter radius around the opponent, and explode. Now the force and energy of said explosions was amplified greatly, via the space spell |Isolation| placed around the target.

I put down the barrier as a wave of wind rushed passed me followed by smoke, then a blood chilling roar. The shock wave of said roar alone could wipe out a town and it managed to clear the space around us, and I could finally see my opponent. And I must say it was beautiful.
