"Well, this is better than I expected." muttering this to myself I bore witness to the slightly impressive army before me. By my count around 150 000 or more sentient undead stood before me. It was a small force not even worth pitting against Lumina.
However, it was a good enough force to use against the many surrounding warlords. Once I take full control of this place I can then attack. That and this will be good practice in leading an army.
However first I needed to beef them up, so I had to wait for a bit before going on a campaign.
"Ok Orcus you did good," I spoke to the undead paladin who kneeled with the entire force behind him. "Now then we'll arrange the forces to create as deadly a force as possible," I said. The problem with the undead is the need to micromanage them. Some while sentient didn't possess a way of communication.
That is why I had to be precise with my orders and make sure the chain of command is rock solid. For now, however, I focused on the miasma within each and every one of them. This would allow me to gather their skillsets, skills they possessed in life, and other such things.
It took a short moment, even with my thought acceleration my mind could only take in so much at a time. Once done I started speaking, "Horod, take command of the mage forces, anyone good in magic is under your command. Make sure you do good at your job." I said and the Liche nodded with a bow.
"Next is Orcus, you will be taking charge of the Paladins. You!" I said to the paladin before pointing to another. "Your Leonard correct?" I asked a skeleton warrior.
"Yes my queen," he spoke.
"Your in charge of the infantry." Then I pointed to another. "You Simon your in charge of the cavalry." I said to the other spactor he was an evolution of a ghost. He could ride the undead beasts littering the area.
"It would be my pleasure." He said. I nodded.
"Now arrange your forces and come meet me in 3 hours," I said knowing that it would take time to arrange the forces accordingly. 3 hours would be enough seeing as they are all here.
Meanwhile, they were doing that I selected new ghost and other intangible monsters to scout for me.
.OoO. 3 hours later.OoO.
After the 3 hours passed my army stood firm separated into the designated forces. Now before I stood, 50 000 infantry, 20 000 cavalry, 30 000 artillery, 10 000 paladins and 10 000 mages. I needed to do some reselection but it was nothing to be worried over.
"So my next enemy is 3 days journey from here,?" I smiled hearing this from Orcus, it was good to hear that the fool I killed was at least informed of his surroundings. It turns out that the force was relatively new and possessed about 40 to 50 thousand soldiers. So then this was a simple affair on my part. Just send some forces to trample them.
.oOo. 5 years later .oOo.
The continent of Undead was experiencing unprecedented change. 5 years in just 5 years a force great enough to handle the strongest empires within the continent appeared and has been toppling kingdom after kingdom, empire after empire, and warlord after warlord.
The strongest force the Kingdom of The LichKing, which like the name suggests was ran by a LichKing the highest evolution of Lich was in turmoil.
This undead king kind and benevolent had ensured that even though they were undead, his citizens were creatures of death and that they lived fulfilling lives. This thriving utopia was being threatened but the army of the Vampire Queen.
"My lord the empire of darkness has fallen and their king killed." spoke a well-dressed scout ghost.
The LichKing King Bael looked at his subordinate before speaking, "Prepare our forces, we must strengthen our borders and defenses." spoke the Lichking gravely his tone grave as he stood, his purple and blue and gold robes flowing behind him as he did, revealing armor that shined like platinum underneath.
He walked to stand in front of the massive window that overlooked a heavenly city where undead walked, happily, a city always filled with smiles. He might have been an undead but the desire for peace filled his heart. "Ow and call the masses I must inform them of this," he said before dismissing the scout.
He sighed, "Times of parrel are upon us." he said.
.OoO.
Standing atop the teris of his castle Beal looked down at the millions of gathered undead. He opened his mouth and spoke, "My people! dark forces threaten out peace, they threaten the heaven we made for ourselves here in this dark place, here were our souls couldn't rest we built a place were our hearts can in their stead. A person calling herself the Queen of the undead threatens out peace, they threaten our sectum. I ask you, lend me your strength and let us purge this force, let us repel this dark cloud coming for our glorious nation!" he shouted at the end earning himself loud shouts of agreement and cheer.
He seemed to smile although that couldn't be seen through his skull for a face.
While Lichking Beal was preparing Pendora was doing the same, and army of millions stood ready to march in her order.
.OoO.
It's surprising what can be done in 1500 days without sleep, or rest. Well no rest for those under you. 5 years of work, making plans, executing those plans, finding out what works and doesn't through trial and error, reformation, reorganising and reattempt and succeed.
In that time I came across many forces and crushed all of them, bolstering my army, and increasing their numbers and strength. Plundering resources and making equipment to improve apon the range of our strategies and tactics. My skills in army management increased and my own personal power increased thanks to my sparrs use only having to deal with powerful warlord and nation leaders.
Now I was ready to face the biggest threat, well not as big as fighting Abiddon but threat enough to cause me a minor head ache. I made sure that my plans would be fullproof so that I could crush the forces of Bael in a single operation.
My forces, my army numbering over 100 million stood, all decked out in armours and divided into numerous Divisions, was a force that would threaten any kindom in the world.
I smiled, standing atop a fortress I cave a command. "March!" I called. A single step and the the ground rumbled.
