Chapter 26 - Chapter 26, Arrival

Just like that me and my mother spent the next few hours conversing about a few random things and if anything was interesting that happened during my one year of seclusion, of course for now she freed me from her lap and left me to return to my chair to not die of embarrassment, after sitting on my chair, at the time I noticed that my mother's maid Lyra was still standing in the back watching us without making any sound or changing her expression at all, it was an eye-opening experience to see someone like that.

While chatting, our first two guests arrived, or more accurately one guest and the other is a resident.

Suddenly the atmosphere got brightened by the arrival of someone then I found myself in the same embarrassing position I was in before but instead of my mother's lap, it was my sister, I was really at a loss for words this time, and didn't know what to say.

"Did you miss your big sister this much to the point of being frozen?" Alina asked with slight teasing and a beaming smile gracing her beautiful face as she was happy to see her brother again.

My sister's cheerful sound rang in my ears to awaken me from my stunned silence, I didn't know what to do. So I decided to go with the easiest choice.

"Yes, sister I missed you and your stories" I replied then turned around to hug her while smiling warmly.

"Won't you hug this old lady? Or do you have eyes only on your brother?" my mother decided to interject with a small smile.

"No, my brother is enough, I know that if I come to hug you, you will take this chance to take Kevin on your lap" replied my sister with a playful smile.

"Too late for that" I muttered to myself under my breath.

My sister appeared to have heard me, so she looked at me with confusion and asked.

"What do you mean?".

As I was going to answer her question, my sister turned to see my mother's small smile turn into a playful one like the one that was on my sister's face but hers were more radiant.

"You are a few hours too late, we already spent the past few hours in the same position, Haha," said my mother.

"Hey, old lady, the day is long and I am staying here for the next few days, I will keep Kevin with me in those few days, Humph," said my sister with an irritated snort.

I turned to look at my sister with a dumbfounded expression hearing her call mother 'old lady', my mother was also dumbfounded not believing that her little girl called her old lady.

"What did you just say my dear?" my mother asked with a smile that was threatening to break to show how much she is irritated.

As my sister was going to answer again a newcomer's voice interrupted us.

"Alinaa, How come you left me outside the palace and just run like that, saying some incomprehensible words while running," a voice of an irritated young girl came from the gate of the garden, in front of her was a maid wearing maid uniform with Dragon Royalty crescent on it leading her in here, while the young girl was being followed with another maid with the vampire crescent.

As for the girl in question, she has blonde hair, crimson eyes, and a lean body. She is wearing a beautiful black dress that added to her charm and was showing her long smooth white legs. She has an irritated expression on her face as she looked at my sister, then when she noticed the atmosphere and me sitting on my sister lap's and my mother sitting opposite to us on her chair, she became startled a little.

She composed herself pretty quickly and bowed to my mother and me with courtesy while greeting us not before giving my sister a death glare which my sister avoided by looking at the sky,

"Sorry for the intrusion Queen Rebekah, Prince Kevin".

"No need to stand on a ceremony, just call me aunt like I told you before and as your sister usually does" replied my mother with a warm smile at the eldest Vampire Princess, Stella Noctis, the one who just entered our garden.

Although I have seen her two or three times before, we aren't that close but since she is my sister's best friend and my friend's sister, I considered her somewhat of a family member to me.

"No need to call me using the word Prince, you can use my name normally like my sister" I replied with a smile to her greetings after collecting my thoughts.

"Lyra bring an extra chair for Stella" my mother ordered her maid, I turned to look at her while giving her a look that was basically saying 'Me too, I need a chair for myself too'.

For that, she just looked at me and smiled playfully while saying,

"If you want to sit more comfortably, you can come to sit on my lap, I am sure it would be more comfortable than your sister's," she said while pointing at her chest area which is bigger than my sister's medium-sized chest.

At that comment from my mother, I couldn't help but look at my mother with a dumbfounded expression, I didn't know my mother could be this shameless. Even Stella looked at my mother in surprise.

While I was surprised and dumbfounded, my sister's face was red fuming from anger at my mother's words, and she couldn't refute her words at all, also since my sister isn't as tall as my mother so sitting on her lap is also not as comfortable as my mother's.

Facing such stares from us, my mother waved her hand at us while saying,

"What? I am just stating facts," she said with a smile.

I just shook my head at my mother's shamelessness, and Lyra have already brought a chair and placed it but Stella was still a little stunned to move so I called her to take her place.

"Hey, Stella, you there?" I shouted at her to wake her up

"Huh, yes, sorry" after that she took her seat next to my sister.

I decided to ignore my mother and sister, and asked Lyra for another chair for me,

"Hey, Lyra can you bring me a chair?"

"Yes, your Highness," she replied to me after seeing my mother nods to her.

After escaping from my sister's hug, I decided to ask her.

"So, how was your time in the secret realm in The Lower World," I asked, since I was curious about the secret realms as I want to go to one when I leave the palace in the future.

"We...
