"I knew you alone could get to convince him." The Chief was over the moon about Daniel's acceptance to be featured in the magazine.
"I need you to feature my story in the magazine too." Fahsai reminded the latter about keeping the end part of their deal. The marketing team however sneered.
"We should have Fahsai feature on the magazine with Daniel so that we can reveal our status and make all of the women go green with envy. Our concept is love anyway." Big Sis suggested.
"Keep it down." Fahsai muttered to Fai.
"I agree with you. We should feature a celebrity instead of Fahsai who is too green in the business." The marketing girl pointed out and she was of course referring to Dr. Kwan, who was head over heels in love with Daniel.
"Dad, he's perfect in every way." Dr. Kwan told her Dad over lunch.
"What will you do with Dr. Eit then?" He wondered.
"Are you the one who always tells me to pick the best?" Dr. Kwan reminded him.
"But that doesn't mean you cheat on your loved ones." He lamented.
"I'm not married yet, I can still choose him." Dr. Kwan argued.
"Maybe he already has a girlfriend." He said.
"She doesn't stand a chance against me, I'm better in every way." Dr. Kwan boasted.
Daniel on the other hand, paid his last respect to Botan.
"It's time for the photoshoot." Chern Piu reminded him.
Upon his arrival, he had his eyes only on Fahsai. He noted the bracelet around her wrist. He looked so pleased about it. However, Fahsai's face fell when Dr. Kwan arrived as she brought a lunch box for everyone.
As chief introduced the two, Daniel kept his eyes on Fahsai and Kwan was putting all stops and even offered to shake his hand. Daniel gave her a friendly welcome though he left immediately in search of Fahsai.
"Make it snug, wouldn't want you to lose it." He tightened her bracelet.
"Can I put it away for the photoshoot?" She asked.
"The moment you take it off, I'm out of here." Daniel said.
"You're so selfish." She muttered.
"It's because of you." He grinned and tapped his finger on her forehead.
Daniel took one of the lunch box with him and Dr. Kwan seethed with anger when she saw that.
Fai on the other hand, positioned her camera angle right at the men of Mungkorn Thong. She kept smiling as she sneaked a picture of Piu. But as she looked up again, there were only two men, Piu was missing from the frame. The man showed up right next to her.
"We have senses when it comes to spies." Piu said. "You're no spy, just someone who's in an unrequited love." He didn't laugh and warned her not to borrow trouble.
"Hey you!" Fai chased after him and both froze when they saw a snake. However, it turned out to be a rubber.
"You're a wimp!" She teased him.
"Mafias are people too." Piu said.
"Yeah, you can do what people do, get afraid, cry or laugh. You don't have to wear a stoic, arrogant face all the time." Fai agreed.
"I don't have time to smile at anyone when I'm ensuring boss's safety."
"That's only an excuse, maybe it's your past. You can't afford to get hurt again. I used to be like you but I realized that I ostracized myself that way, people stopped wanting to be around me. I then realized I can't spend the rest of my life on earth alone. I mean well." Fai told him. Piu listened with an impartial face though.
"What do you want from me?" He wondered.
"I want you to smile, because when you do, you look more handsome than Daniel.." She said.
"If you want me to be happy, you should stop meddling in my life."
Nuch had been in the Van searching for Chief Ramet's wallet when she saw Piu's reflection on the car. He was stretching his face into a smile. His face went from smiling widely to frowning. Nuch stared at him like he was crazy.
"Omg! Your man was smiling back there...like really crazy." Nuch reported to Fai who was pleased to hear it.
"I promise to make him happy so that he could glance my way and accept my love." She vowed.
"We're ladies and we shouldn't make the first move." Nuch reminded her.
"Finding a good, single guy is near impossible in this day and age, so when you meet one, you should hold on to him." Fai begged to differ.
"Can you help me fix this..." Dr. Kwan called Fahsai over to adjust her shoes.
"Why did Daniel give you a bracelet?" Kwan questioned her.
"It's a gift from Hong Kong and he gives one to everybody." Fahsai said.
"How cute that makes him, however, if the gift falls on someone who likes to imagine things, that person would think Daniel has some special feelings for her. Is everyone like that in the office?" She wondered.
"Every woman in the office is quite sane." Fahsai assured her.
"It's a good thing then, that way I could feel rest assured when I visit LOLA with Daniel." Kwan bragged.
"Your fiance wont be happy to hear this because I know how it feels to be betrayed by one's boyfriend." Fahsai reminded the latter.
"Maybe this is a second chance for you, you should take on the duty then since I won't have any more time for Dr. Eit." Kwan said deliberately.
