"Don't assume that just because I'm a human that I'm foolish just because of that..." I paused for a while and then grinned cruelly. "Raynare-chan."

Her astonished countenance morphed into a smirk, which, surprisingly, gave the impression that she was more sinister and seductive.

"If that's the case, then you've eliminated any other options for me to consider. I will see to it that there is absolutely nothing of you left, "She growled, and as her energy grew, she summoned two swords composed of light magic and brandished them.

My grin became wider as I saw her eyes widen in disbelief as I began to levitate utilising psychokinesis to raise myself off the ground.

Then I delved into my connection with the shadows and darkness, and from the crevices and shadows off the room tendrils of dark energy reached towards me and transformed into two swords composed of darkness that were miasmatic.

When her gaze turned hostile towards me, I flashed a grin and aimed one of my swords in her direction. "All you needed to do was ask whether you wanted to dance so much," she said.

[A new Shadow Manipulation talent has been created, and it has been added to the list of abilities that may be used to manipulate shadows that are currently accessible.]

I was just in time to parry Raynare's assault when I mentally closed the notification box and raised my Shadow Swords over my head to deflect the blow.

Her eyes widened as I didn't even budge, 'thanks to reinforcement, both my strength and my agility were at 266.5 due to the 160% increase to those stats that Reinforcement gave me at Level 30,' and a shockwave of displaced air originated from the point of contact between our weapons of opposing nature.

When everything in the room was flung away from us, the walls split and the windows shattered under the impact of the shield.

I smiled and laughed as I put a thousand MP into a psychokinetic attack that hit her in the stomach. I watched as her eyes widened in pain and her mouth opened in a silent scream before she was sent flying through a window that had already been broken.

I continued to pursue her utilising psychokinesis as a means to enable me to catch up to her. Because I had just hit her with a very significant amount of power that was concentrated on her stomach, I did not anticipate that she would recover very soon.

And despite the fact that she was incredibly resilient, there was no way that she was going to brush that off. My MP was already on the mend, and I had a stronger sense of self-assurance going into this fight in comparison to the one I had with Dohnaseek.

After what seemed like an eternity, Raynare managed to right herself ten seconds later. When I saw that she had lost more than one thousand health points as a result of that attack, I smirked at her.

There was a tiny line of blood trickling down the side of her mouth, and owing to my heightened abilities, I was able to catch her snarl just in time before she flapped her wings and rushed at me with her light sword brandished to attack me.

We came face to face in a fraction of a second later, and from that moment on, a dance of light and darkness started.

Ten seconds into the dance, I chose to ignore the signal informing me that the Dual Wilding talent had been developed since I needed to put all of my attention towards keeping up with Raynare.

Even though I was considerably more powerful and quicker than she was, she was far more competent and experienced than I was, and as a result, she was able to compete with me despite the fact that I had the advantage in terms of my physical capabilities.

We sliced, locked, parried, and feinted against one another before taking a little break before resuming our lethal dance.

While I continued to fight Raynare blow for blow, my abilities to Sense Danger, Detect Bloodlust, Dual Wield, Sword Mastery, Shadow Manipulation, Psychokinesis, Reinforcement, and Iron Skin increased at an incredible rate and never stopped improving.

As the struggle went on, I was able to sense that my physical strength was increasing, and because of my mental fortitude, I was also able to sense that my skills were increasing as the battle went on.

To get the most out of the boost to my talents that competing against an opponent of a higher level afforded me, though, I had to make the fight last as long as I possibly could.

I was relieved that our battle progressed progressively upward until we were above the clouds and that there was no possibility for regular humans who were unaware of the supernatural realm to catch up with our struggle once we did so.

I had no doubt that Rias or Sona could quickly clear their memory, but it would have been better for me if they had never been exposed to the information in the first place.

This jogged my recollection that in addition to the Healing spell, I also required the Memory Modification spell, and I made a note in my head to concentrate on learning it.

After refocusing my attention on the battle, I raised my right arm to block a vertical slash from Raynare that was directed at my head.

I then leaned back to let a horizontal slash that would've taken off my head pass in front of me by a few centimetres, and I used the momentum of my evasion to perform a backflip, and my feet lashed out and made contact with her chin, sending her flying backwards. When I stared at her with a sneer, she glared at me angrily and growled.

"Here, take it!" She let out a roar, and my eyes widened as, in a moment that brought to mind Gilgamesh from the Fate series, she conjured up dozens of light spears behind her, which she then hurled at me while I muttered an expletive.

I cursed. I would easily be able to avoid them, but there is no question that they would get it to the city below, where they would wreak incalculable damage to the infrastructure and the deaths of many innocent people.

~If you continue to forget to wake me up, I'm going to give you a headache that won't go away. Seriously.~

When I peered up at the oncoming volley of light spears, I whispered under my breath, "Not now, Ddraig. Can't you see that I have a lot going on?" I focused my attention on Raynare and noticed the arrogant grin that was plastered on her stunning face.

When the time came, I was going to have a lot of fun turning her into a literal slave for my pleasure.

Ddraig sneered.

~As if. Put an end to the game, buddy. Raise the temperature, please.~

When he made the proposal, it made me smile. While I had hoped to keep my elemental powers a secret for a little while longer, I realised that it didn't matter much at this point since I was confident that Raynare already knew that I was able to control the elements based on the way my magic felt. "It is an outstanding idea," the speaker said.

I swiftly cancelled my Shadow Swords' activation and took a few steps backwards until I was facing the oncoming assault head-on.

As I concentrated on my draconian fire, I took a long, deep breath in, and my chest expanded a tremendous amount more than it ought to have.

Before I let go with my assault, I made sure to lock eyes with Raynare, who was now looking very apprehensive. "The Roar of the Red Dragon!"
