Taking a deep breath, Ezra massaged his forehead. He didn't even clearly remember those times as the memories were blurry, his mind being in a dark and unstable place back then. There were probably many things he unintentionally did that hurt this man's feelings. Yes, he used to treat Raphael poorly.
"I'm sorry."
Hearing that sudden word coming out of his lips. Raphael's eyes twitched, looking at him in bewilderment as to why he suddenly said that.
"I'm sorry, back then maybe... I didn't know what I was doing... No that's not an excuse, I shouldn't have treated you like that. Shit."
Raphael straightened his body, and the color of his eyes turned relieved. "It's okay, I understand," he said with a thin, warm smile. As if he knew what Ezra meant despite the lack of a complete explanation.
"Do you think I'm selfish? I mean, I made a mistake but I blame it on my condition... I shouldn't have..."
