The two stared at each other and starts to gather strength from their feet—and in just a split of second, the two ⟨⟨Dash⟩⟩ through each other and swung their sword at the same time.
Wham! Unlike earlier, the collision of their sword was so strong that it creates a mild whirlwind that exploded on impact. The huge amount of force made the two knocked away backwards, but they instantly plunge at each other and clashed fiercely.
They we're moving and clashing sword so fast that every place they walked into get sliced from the random slash that got dodged by either of them.
Sword Clash that cannot be seen by any normal means, dodging the opponent added with their projectiles. Everything is going crazy into both of them.
"Amazing!" Astra shouted in awe. "I didn't know those two still had something up their sleeves."
"Yeah," Seia nodded in agreement. "To all of the fights that happened, this is probably the most intense fight that ever happened in this tournament. But..."
"I know what you're thinking, Seia." Rina-san who was keen on watching spokes her opinion. "Even with his superhuman stats, Sai's movement was too much even for him. I'm afraid there's a possible repercussion after that."
Unfortunately, Sai only has a limit of 5 minutes before the buff takes off. And realistically, a concern about a possible backlash from the [Potion] is not zero.
"Master..." Luna showed a look of concern.
The two kept on clashing with their sword and still hasn't stop until now. If this goes on for a while, it will only end as a fight of endurance. Even if Sai tried some crafty gimmick, Davis would manage to react fast enough to render it completely useless.
Sai decided to ⟨⟨Parry⟩⟩ at one of the slashes which stops Davis for half a millisecond. To counter it, Davis used ⟨⟨Remise⟩⟩ which is an immediate second attack but was cleanly dealt and countered with a ⟨⟨Riposte⟩⟩ by Sai.
"Tch!" Davis clicked his tongue in frustration. "This is going to take forever...!"
(Persistent bastard! Can't you die already?! Please...! Someone's life is at stake here...! Please!)
With such thoughts in mind, Davis is starting to get more faster and stronger. This left Sai in surprise, as he was being knocked back a little as he struggles slowly.
(Damn it, even with [Potion] this guy we're still stronger than me...?! I don't want to lose...!)
And with that, Sai used another technique. Sai waited until Davis made a downward slash and when it finally happened, Sai used ⟨⟨Parry⟩⟩ by sliding Davis sword into his sword downward.
"Wha—?!"
With enough force, Davis sword was shoved into the ground, stuck in the process. Sai heavily stomped on it and spins to kick Davis with a back kick.

Davis was kicked into his face and was knocked away by quite the distance. The sword also slipped into his arms, leaving him unarmed. By the things going, Sai is currently on the advantage.
The audience shouted in cheers to Sai's incredible performance. Unfortunately, it was mostly the people who didn't know him and the latter who knew him we're rooting for Davis instead.
"Nice going, Sai!" Lily shouted cheerfully, then added. "At any rate, that was very impressive of him."
"Hm." Rina-san nodded in agreement to her daughter. "When we fought, he never showed anything like that. It infuriates me a little."
"Really?!" Astra shockingly said. "So that means no one ever saw Sai's true strength until now? Damn, how did he even get strong."
"Who knows," Rina-san shrugs the question. "Nonetheless, we should watch now."
Sai put his sword back into his inventory and instead used Davis sword as his weapon. Davis on the other hand, immediately rose into the ground after he was knocked away. Sai took their distance and Davis's unarmed situation as an advantage and attacked him with barrage of icicle projectiles.
⟨⟨Godspeed⟩⟩ + ⟨⟨Dash⟩⟩
Davis immediately dashes towards Sai at blinding speed, successfully dodging some of the icicle projectiles. Few managed to hit him but it didn't let Davis stops him from engaging Sai.
When he was in Sai's range, Davis used ⟨⟨Voiding⟩⟩ in reverse, instantly getting him inside Sai. Sai tried to attack him with a downward slash but instead got punched upward once again.
Sai was punched so hard he got knocked upward. Sai tried to safely land, but Davis didn't give him any time to recover.
"As if..." Davis gritted his teeth lividly; his eyes were full white in extreme anger. "I need to do it...! As if I would lose to someone like you!"
Davis catches Sai midair and punched downward so hard Sai's face was shoved into the ground. But Sai didn't let him get away with it. Sai grabbed Davis's hem and headbutted him.
Similar to Davis, Sai we're now also gritting his teeth in extreme anger. Such humiliation instantly destroys his composure and also went ferociously.
Davis tried not to fall into his feet, but Sai took this opportunity and kicked his face with his knee. But Sai didn't end it, instead, he put both of his feet into Davis's shoulder, spins himself, and slams him into the ground. Yes, it was the ⟨⟨Wrestling Technique: Hurricanrana⟩⟩
"Die!" Sai furiously shouted.
Sai slammed Davis on the ground headfirst coupled with his body weight. After taking a deep breath, Sai looked at Davis as if he was a living trash and started to gather strength into his fist.
(I was close on being defeated but thank goodness. My knowledge about him on the game was pretty helpful...)
"No hard feelings, Davis." Sai reminded and finally threw his fist. But... It stopped midway. "Ugh...!"
(My body... It hurts...! I can't move! What's happening...?)
"?!?!" Seia widened her eyes in realization. "Rina-san, that's...!"
"Yeah," Rina-san replied. "Looks like it really happened huh."
Sai was currently in complete shock and confusion as he didn't know the behind the reason on what's happening to his body. His body was in pain that he falls into the ground. And the worst part.
"Hey..." Davis who already rose into the ground violently grabs his hair. "My turn."
Davis fiercely pulled and kicked Sai directly into his face with his knees continuously. Even with the simulation things still active, Sai's face was visibly beat-up.
(Am I going to lose... I, who completed this game countless times... Me... Defeated...?)
When Davis kicked his face again, Sai used all the remaining strength in him and slip to dodge the knees and raised his feet to counter a flexible kick into his temple.
"Ugh...?!" Davis groaned in pain.
Sai forcefully pulled Davis's hair and put his other palm into Davis's abdomen.
"⟨⟨Umbral Collision⟩⟩"
Davis was directly hit by a large black beam into his whole body, blasted away in the process. This gave Sai a bit of time, so he timidly took out his 『Imperfect Demons Sword』 and slowly approach Davis. He was regenerating in a quick rate thanks to his armor set bonus but sadly, his fatigue was not included.
But to his surprise, Davis was already in from of him. His eyes might all be white now due to his extreme anger, but Sai can still feel that he was staring daggers at him.
"Just how persistent can you be...!" Davis leaped and kicked him at quick speed, but Sai managed to defend at the last second with his sword but was knocked a bit. "Just die already...!"
(I don't want to lose! I don't want to lose! I don't want to lose! I'm going to be the strongest...!)
Sai attacked with a downward slash in desperation but was kicked away by Davis. Once again, it was back into close quarter combat. Both of them tightened their fist and punched each other.
Unfortunately for Sai, Davis has double the stats than him, so his punch was twice as hard than him. This made Sai became dizzy in the process. Davis's punch feels like he was directly rammed by a giant monster.
Sai gritted his teeth and tried his outmost best not to fall down. Because if he did, he will lose the match... or so he thought. It's because that he's dizzy that he finally realized.
The 『Blizzard Strayer』 or Davis's sword, was already pierced into his abdomen.
"It's my win..." Davis firmly declared, then took out his sword into Sai's abdomen, falling into his knees. "Just like you, I also have my own personal circumstances. No hard feelings."
(Ah... I see, I finally realized...)
"I think I know a bit of how Sai perceive himself and everything." Rina-san suddenly declared. "He's a genius for sure, a prodigy if I am to describe him. But you see, he—"
(I only thought this world as a game and just decides and think nonchalantly, and for that reason...)
Davis slowly walk towards the exit as Sai finally falls into the ground, barely conscious.
"He only relies to his unmatched knowledge that he forgets and disregard the common knowledge that's considers the most important factor of thinking."
"So... frustrating..." Sai lastly said before he fully loses consciousness.
"S-Sai Crimsonheart unable to fight anymore!! Winner, Davis Blackraven!!" The announcer vigorously declared.
The audiences who was silent at the last moment went crazy into the spectacular ending. But of course, there would be no winner if there are no loser. Luna and the others expressed their dejected response into Sai's lose.
"Aruji-sama…"
"Master..."
"Tch! Even Sai..." Lily clicked her tongue in frustration. "This is the first time I've seen him loses..."
"Even with all that, Sai still loses huh..." Astra dejectedly responds, then notices her friend's strange behavior. "Sora, you've been quiet for a while now. Are you okay?"
Ever since morning, Sora hasn't said any words until now. Is he nervous for the upcoming next match? Astra and the others who noticed his behavior thought so.
(Somewhere on the VIP seat)
"That was a very spectacular fight." The black short-haired woman spoke his awe. "But after watching, I think I know Sai a bit more now."
"Hm?" Sherry Calmwater raised her eyebrow in bewilderment. "And what do you mean by that?"
"Who knows?" The black short-haired woman shrugs the question. "Nonetheless, it was sad that he loses this round. I had thought that he'll be the one to win the tournament, but still, was pretty impressive overall."
(Somewhere at the Arena)
"Aw..." The blonde girl dejectedly responded. "Big brother Sai lost..."
"Yeah, it was a close fight... And very surprising for some reason." The other blonde woman replied, then shifted her attention beside her. "What do you think?"
"What do I think you say... He was strong just like you've said." The buff man who was gathering some attention caused of his big body replied so. "He probably must be frustrated, let's go."
"Yeah." The daughter and mother reacted in tandem.
(Somewhere at the Audience Seat)
"So Sai lose, huh." Jett commented. "I really wanted to fight him to know the truth, but I guess that's just how things happen."
Jett, along with his members we're keenly watching the fight. Known for their infamous gang that's wearing the same black jacket, they are gathering some attention into them. After letting out a sigh, Vice, who is the second-in-command of their gang responded to Jett's remark.
"Don't assume quickly." Vice pointed out. "We still don't fully know about him. Don't took the other student's false rumors about him."
"Hm, I guess you're right..." Jett conceded but then he noticed something. "Hey! That guy...!"
Just was Davis was about to walk away, he felt a strong bloodlust behind him. When he shifted his attention warily behind him, Sai Crimsonheart was standing and is looking at him.
Strangely enough, Sai was already unconscious in his state just earlier. Did she wake-up or something? That's what Davis thought so but...
(What is this... this strange bloodlust coming from him...)
Everyone also started to noticed Sai's strange behavior. He's conscious but is standing? Just what the hell is happening is what everyone thinks.
