Chapter 15 - The Real Abomination

"Drake and everyone... You all even wanted to kill me..." I spoke my word dramatically. "It didn't even cross your mind that you're all my family...?!"
Luna's eyebrow drooped into my statement—as if sympathizing at my awful situation. In any case, we're the only two who can support each other now.
"Don't misunderstand, it was very hard even for us, but it was all to protect the family's secret." My father stated. "If I asked you to keep it a secret, will you do it?"
"Our relationship aside, what you're all doing is inhumane." I stated with a frown. "I'm sorry but I refuse."
I'm actually just making a front into my family. To be honest, I don't even care if they cast me aside. It will give me my freedom to accomplish my goals after all.
"Welp, I guess it's worth a try." My father said as he shrugs. "Our family will do anything to rise into the hierarchy you see? We don't need someone as useless as you here, so it really doesn't matter."
"Man, you'll stoop so low for that huh." I nonchalantly replied. "I guess being a noble was pretty bothersome on its own."
"It's for the pride of the Crimsonheart family my brother." Drake pointed out with a grin, then begins to hold the hilt of his sword. "That's why, please die for the sake of our family!"
"!!"
Drake dashes and lunge at me violently. It was very quick, but I managed to defend at the last second and started clashing with him in the process. Luna who was completely free quickly attack Drake who was currently occupied with me. Unfortunately, it was easily dodge by Drake who backed out to dodge it.
"That was pretty close." Drake sarcastically said, grinning.
"As expected, he's fast. If it comes to this..." I mused, then went behind Luna. "Luna, protect me."
After I command and I quickly rush at my father who's on his way to attack us. I'm sorry but I only see you as a stranger. I was transported in this world after all.
Midway into our distance, with great timing, I took a quickdraw stance as I run towards my father and by the time that I was at his distance...

Wham! A loud clank of metal reverberates as the blade of our sword collide into each other. Unfortunately, my father managed to block my skill—groaning as he struggles. I guess the family's supposed rule was not for show after all.
Looks like that shot took a toll on himself. Since both my father's hand is fully occupied as he struggles to defend to our swords currently locked into each other, I sweep his sword aside, bend myself sideways and solidly kicked him on his abdomen—a ⟨⟨Twist Kick⟩⟩.
"Guhaa!!" My father cried in pain as he violently knocked away.
Ouch, that probably hurts. Getting hit in the abdomen aside, my strength is several times stronger than most of the humans. On the other side, Drake who was currently being occupied by Luna twitched as he saw his father get knocked away.
"Tch! You bastard!" Drake furiously shouted and kicks Luna away then dashed at me ferociously.
I countered his violent attack with the opposite slash—locking our swords in the process. Kuh! Even with a base status, Drake's attack sure packs a punch.
Luna who got kicked didn't waste any second and instantly rose herself, dashing towards us with a diagonal slash. I know Drake will retreat to dodge Luna's attack, so once again, I sweep his sword away and kicked his ankle for him to lose balance.
Drake was staggered to my action; Luna who saw the opening finally hit Drake successfully in the back which made Drake cried in pain.
But of course, unfortunately, it was not enough.
Luna managed to pierce Drake's armor but it only dealt 20 damage. I used the ⟨⟨Appraisal⟩⟩ at Drake who repositioned himself from the fight.

It's disadvantageous for us to fight him continuously. We're lucky that we managed to hit him a number of times but we're barely managing ourselves. Father is about to get up and Andrew was still standing there trying to resolve himself. Really, it can't be helped...
"Luna! Evacuate the Maids through the 2nd Floor, I'll handle this alone. Give me the signal after you're done." I declared as fast as possible. "Also make it fast. I can't fight the 3 of the for too long."
"...Yes!" Luna who paused for a moment firmly nodded and sprinted towards the Cabin.
Well, let's see on how I can manage. Truth to be honest, I can solo the 3 of them but it'll be hard. The only think I can think of is to stall for some time.
I shot a look and saw Drake that was about to stand-up. I didn't waste any time and hurriedly sprinted towards Andrew who was still standing there watching us. I guess he lacks resolve, huh.
Andrew was startled when I instantly closed myself into him. Currently in panic, Andrew swung his knife in desperation. But it was too slow, so I dodged it with ease, grab his arms and kicked his knife away. I manage to catch the falling knife and put it on Andrew's neck—thus, holding him hostage.
"Look who's talking earlier." Drake sarcastically said as he stops from his footsteps. "I guess we all have it in our blood. Who stoop so low now, huh."
"I'm sorry but I'm pretty much at disadvantage here." I frankly answered. "I can't win against you 3 ganging me up."
It was against my ideal and was low of me to do this; moreover, that this guy is also one of my family. But it is what it is.
"You're not the Sai that I know of. Your actions are entirely different from the one I know." My father stated as he stood beside Drake. "What the hell happened, Sai?"
"Is it too late to ask that question father?" I remarked.
"Yeah, you're right. If you've become like that, then I can consider the true Sai Crimsonheart to be dead." My father pointed, then readied his 『Platinum Sword』. "I can kill you without regret."
"That's very unfor—"
"MASTEEEEEEEEER!!!"
I was about to say something when it was interrupted by Luna who called me so loud. I, who finally heard the signal pushed Andrew towards Andrew and Father. I quickly took the peach orb with the size of a basketball and threw it at them.
The moment the orb hit the ground, it started to transform into an unknown shape—growing larger and larger with many arms and limbs starting to grow with a part of it like a spider.
『The "Real Abomination" has been summoned』
Everyone suddenly felt a chill down their spine including me who was near it. I immediately sprinted away while it transforms and parkour to the wall, then using the balcony to jump into the roof. Luna also followed me and did the same procedure as I did to reach the roof of the Mansion.
And with this, Luna and I watch the 3 on the ground running with their lives on the line.
"Y-you!!" Drake fends off the 『Real Abomination』 with his face that screams in terror. "Just what monster did you release in this world you bastard?!?!"
Even while on a safe distance, Luna had the look that she had seen the "Fear" itself. I expected it to be like this but as expected, it feels really scary in the real world...
The "Monster" that Drake is trying to fend is a large 5-meter lump of moving disordered human flesh with arms and limbs that it uses to run ferociously.
It was very aggressive and overwhelming even for Drake. After a while and it started to lunge at Drake and rams it brutally, knocking him away quite the distance.
Since Drake flew far away, the aggro was transferred into Andrew and my father. The two screams in terror as they run as fast as they can. Unfortunately, despite its huge size, the giant lump of flesh still manages to outrun them.
Andrew who was helplessly running away was brutally rammed by the "Monster" faster than him. The huge amount of force knocked him away like a rock that was thrown away and hit on a wall like a ragdoll—leaving him incapacitated. The impact was so hard that his organs had probably been crushed so It's expected that he'll die shortly.
I closed my eyes and turned away as to sympathize into their situation. I begin to regret what I just did but I immediately took it back shortly after I saw what my father just did.
My father that was running away saw my mother who was at the entrance of the door telling him to quickly rush inside.
"Dear!" My mother shouted in fear. "Quick!"
But my father...
"I'm sorry dear." My father desperately pushed my mother towards the 『Real Abomination』 to give him some time to run away. "It's for the sake of the family."
The 『Real Abomination』 Aggro was transferred to my mother. The Monster's tiny hand grabs my mother's legs and tried to suck her away and squish her inside the Monster's pile of skin.
"NOOOO!!" My mother helplessly cried as she gets squished inside the pile of skin. "I DON"T WANT TO DIE!!"
I heard that she killed so many people in his lifetime without any remorse on it, so is this her karma perhaps? Her death was brutal on its own way, but did she deserve it?
"Monster!!" Drake who finally came back furiously shouted at the 『Real Abomination』 that's trying to come inside the Mansion. "Come here! I will kill you along with my brother!"
His extreme anger can be felt that even the 『Real Abomination』 shifted its aggro into him. Man, look at that face... I guess he's still a warrior deep down. His pride won't let him back now.
As I ponder, I used the ⟨⟨Appraisal⟩⟩ skill at Drake and the 『Real Abomination』.

"I guess it's time." I mused.
I took the 『Platinum Bow』 and [Flaming Arrows] inside my 『Magic Pouch』 and begins to aim at the 『Real Abomination』.
I positioned the bow, aimed at the target, draw the bowstring, and put the [Flaming Arrow]. Pull the bowstring to my anchor point and then release!
The [Flaming Arrow] flew towards the 『Real Abomination』, but the force was too weak, so the trajectory flew at a random direction. but since the 『Real Abomination』 was large, it did hit it and its flesh started to get burn and violently scatters around its body.
"Damn," I mused. "I didn't think it was this hard to use a bow."
Well, my main priority was to burn it, so I guess it's no problem.
In the game, this is the procedure to cheese the 『Real Abomination』 in the game. By using a 『Bow』 combined with a [Flaming Arrow], you can shoot it at a safe distance until the burn damage kills it eventually.
By doing the same procedure earlier, I started and kept attacking the 『Real Abomination』. Most of the shot was pretty sloppy but the burn damage is eating away its HP.
This procedure kept for a while, with Luna eagerly watching beside me and Drake whom I used as a bait is fending the 『Real Abomination』 by himself. It kept going until its HP was down to half.
Its front was cut in half and a hole that looks like a large mouth had appeared—showing a pointed teeth and looks more terrifying than before. It was its 2nd Form!
After the transformation was done, it became more aggressive which made Drake who's at miracles hand struggles more as he tries to defend himself fending the Monsters ram attack.
"Wha—?!" Luna voiced out her surprise. "Those are?!"
I ignored Luna and kept on shooting the Giant Flesh with my bow. I was fully concentrated that my tongue was sticking out as a habit while shooting. I noticed that I only have a hundred arrows left so I used ⟨⟨Appraisal⟩⟩ on the 『Real Abomination』 to check the situation.

"Come on! Come on!" I mused in perseverance as I shoot it. "Please die...!"

"AARRRGGGHHHH!!!!" Drake shouted his war cry—spewing blood as his body was already in its limit.

And then—
"Luna! Finish it!" I shouted at Luna who already jumped out of the rooftop—going for the finisher. Looks like she's also watching using her ⟨⟨Appraisal⟩⟩ skill.
"HAAA!!" Luna shouted and stabbed the 『Real Abomination』 on its head with the 『Scimitar』. The 『Real Abomination』 that's burning screamed in pain and finally drops dead.

I breathe out a huge sigh of relief and head down the ground by parkouring through the destroyed walls after giving myself some air.
When I arrived near the scene of where the 『Real Abomination』 died, Drake was also lying down at the ground—breathing heavily as he was nearing his death. Beside him, is Luna who was looking down staring daggers at him in a very cold manner like he was a living trash.
I've never seen Luna's face this way before.
"Luna, just do what you think is right." I reminded with firm expression. "No matter your choice will be, I will be there for you."
Well then, what will you do Luna?
