"Uncle, don't leave me.. all right?" This was her only fear, him leaving her. Mu Zhen didn't know which leaving but he had to placate her.
"All right, I promise.." he mumbled softly and Ye Mei turned to jelly in his arms, she had fallen asleep, it was like she needed it for opening a new chapter in their lives.
"Ye Mei.." he called her but she wasn't responding and her body had turned jelly, he gently placed her back onto the bed gazing at her wet face.
He gently wiped her face, his earlier constricting heart calmed down, no more anxiousness.
"Mei Mei..." He mumbled her name gazing into those closed eyes, he didn't understand anything but he was ready to embrace her, she was a part of him and she was the only woman who made him experience all kinds of emotions.
He picked her up and exited the lounge, "Wei Tang, let's go..." He ordered him as he walked out of the office whereas Wei Tang trailed behind them and locked the office door.
