Orin, Zarr, and Ein were on their next journey when heard rumours about the evil sorcerer and his minions.
The sorcerer was known to have two personalities - one of a charming, charismatic leader, and the other of a cruel, manipulative monster. Many had fallen under his spell and were now serving as his minions
They decided to investigate, and upon reaching the nearest town, they were greeted by the sight of destruction and chaos.
The villagers told them about the sorcerer's reign of terror and how he used his powers to control the minds of others and turn them into his loyal followers.
Orin, being a powerful sorcerer himself, was determined to see the evil sorcerer.
They then approached the sorcerer's castle, Ein, eager to prove himself as a master swordsman, took the lead.
However, Orin quickly stopped him, warning that the sorcerer was not someone to be taken lightly. Ein, undeterred, insisted on facing the sorcerer head on, but Orin warned him that he was putting himself in grave danger.
"Ein, hold on." Orin stopped.
"We must approach this with caution. The sorcerer is not someone to be trifled with."
"I am not afraid! I am a master swordsman, and I will prove it to everyone, including that sorcerer." Ein was pushed Orin hand aside.
"You may be skilled with a sword, but you do not understand the true power of a sorcerer." Orin added.
"They can twist your mind and control your actions."
Zarr just looked silently at both of them.
"I appreciate your concern, but I am not afraid. I have trained my entire life to become a master swordsman. I will not let fear hold me back." Ein try to explain to Orin.
Orin sighed,
"Very well, Ein. But if we are to face the sorcerer, we must have a plan. Let us discuss this further and come up with a strategy that will give us the best chance of success."
As they entered the castle, the sorcerer appeared before them, cackling with amusement at the sight of the three adventurers.
He introduced himself as the most powerful sorcerer on the land, and challenged Orin to a duel of magic.
Orin, being the most powerful sorcerer in the land, accepted the challenge.
Orin and the sorcerer began their duel, with bolts of lightning and pillars of fire being exchanged between them.
Zarr and Ein watched from the side lines, wide-eyed at the display of raw power before them.
"So, I can see you The Great Orin," the sorcerer cackled,
"I heard you were one of the greatest sorcerers of this land. I can see that is not the case."
"Your arrogance blinds you," Orin replied, his eyes glowing with determination.
"You have no idea what I am capable of."
The two sorcerers continued to exchange spells, their movements becoming more frantic and intense with each passing moment.
Meanwhile, Ein was growing increasingly restless, eager to join the fight.
"Ein, stay back!" Orin called out, sensing the young swordsman's eagerness.
"This is not a fight for you."
"I am a master swordsman!" Ein shouted back.
"I can handle myself!"
The sorcerer, sensing an opportunity, aimed a bolt of lightning at Ein, who quickly raised his sword to deflect it.
To the surprise of everyone present, the sword glowed with a brilliant light, absorbing the sorcerer's magic and reflecting it back at him.
"What is this?" the sorcerer cried out, stunned by Ein's unexpected display of power.
"It seems that Ein is more than just a mere swordsman," Orin said, a hint of amusement in his voice.
Ein, realizing the potential of his sword, attacked the sorcerer with a newfound confidence, while Orin stop his action.
Ein raised his sword, ready to strike.
"Ha! So you think you can defeat me, do you?" the sorcerer cackled, a wicked gleam in his eye.
"I am the most powerful sorcerer on this land!"
Orin just smile when he heard the sorcerer claiming that he is the powerful sorcerer on this land.
Ein, determined to prove himself as a master swordsman, lunged forward with a powerful strike. The sorcerer quickly countered, summoning bolts of lightning to strike at Ein.
"Orin, what should I do?" Ein shouted, dodging the lightning bolts as he battled the sorcerer.
"Keep fighting, I'll stay here and see how do you do," Orin smiled. He then stays back with Zarr. Both of them just stand and watch the battle like they actually watch a public play.
As the battle raged on, the castle began to shake and crumble around them. Ein, seeing an opening, made a final, desperate strike at the sorcerer. With a flash of light, the sorcerer disappeared, defeated.
"We did it!" Ein exclaimed, panting as he sheathed his sword.
"Yes, but we need to leave this place quickly, the castle is collapsing!" Orin called out, grabbing Zarr and making a mad dash for the exit.
As they emerged from the castle, they watched as it crumbled into dust, leaving behind nothing but a barren wasteland.
Ein woke up with a start, realizing that it was all just a dream. He felt a wave of disappointment wash over him as he realized that he would never be able to prove himself as a master swordsman.
He lay back down, trying to shake the vivid images of the dream from his mind. As he closed his eyes, he heard a voice whisper,
"Ein, don't give up on your dreams. You never know what the future may hold." He opened his eyes to see Zarr standing over him, a wise look in his eyes.
Ein smiled, realizing that maybe, just maybe, he could one day become a master swordsman after all.
