"Why didn't you call me as soon as you found him, Hannah?! I'm worried sick, waiting for you all day!"
I just laughed awkwardly when I heard Jess's frustrated screams, who was apparently still waiting on the sofa, and he immediately approached me as soon as he found me and Richard arriving at Richard's apartment when the sky was already dark.
"My bad. Will it help if I tell you I forgot to let you know that I found Richard?"
"Hell no! I even started thinking something bad happened to him if you two aren't coming in an hour, you know!"
"There, there, Jess. I think you're overreacting. She is not the one to blame, you know."
"Overreacting, huh?" Jess replied, aiming for Richard's leg, which unfortunately managed to dodge it. "Tsk. I would be satisfied if you didn't dodge it, but whatever. Who do you think made me like this, you bastard?"
