As I came out of the bath Sian came back inside the room after his daily morning jog.

Well, it is true, due to improvements in technology the food of this era is almost perfected according to nutritional values per person thus maintaining good looks and personality just requires some hard work.
But my current body can be said above average because Ahiro was a martial art addict and practiced a different kinds of martial arts regularly thus resulting in this model-like body.
Ahiro was not just an addict but also a martial art genius. He was able to fight kids twice his age. And he was thus sponsored by his orphanage to participate in many under-18 martial art tournament and won many medals and trophies.
All were looking forward to the day he could finally have Awakening.
Awekaning is a supernatural phenomenon that occurs in Midgard. All living beings including animals, plants, and humans experience this same phenomenon. many scientists have debated the reason for such but none of them could provide any solid theory behind it.
Every being experiences awakening at different ages in their life and for humans, it is around 18 years of age. It is the time when they finally awaken their supernatural power just like the ones I read in comics.
At age of 18 Ahiro also awakened his powers, but contrary to every one expectation he got F-Rank during his skill assessment, and the power he Awkaened was named [Shield Dome]
It was quite ordinary power, all it did was create a Dome made of energy that could withstand only physical attacks and weak supernatural attacks. Any attack above the D-rank rank could destroy the shield.
All the hopes of the orphanage were lost and all those who praised him now criticized him. All the medals that he attained with all his hard work were sold off saying it was compensation for all the cost they spent on him.
His meals were reduced to the minimum and sometimes to none. Ahiro's life even in another world was quite similar to mine. He lost everything that he held dear on that same day and well I died. It's ironic to see how a single day can change a person's whole life.
But as the saying goes we were both given a second chance,
One day an old man visited the orphanage and took ahiro away claiming to be his legal guardian. next thing he knew was he was admitted to "Luthors Academy". One of the Best colleges for learning and researching and most importantly training Superpowers.
This academy was established by descendants of King Luthor, who is claimed to be the first awakened. And thus it is claimed to be the best academy where everyone follows one rule, that is "To become the Strongest". Because even with the latest technology humans are not top of the food chain on this planet. Midgard is mostly covered in dense forest and only a small portion of this planet is occupied by humans and oceans are still off-limits. Thus to expand human territory we needed to battle the Beast, which is awakened animals and plants that occupy forests and attack humans settlement.
And to foster the next generation of warriors who could protect as well as expand the reaches of human society. The descendants of the first human king Luthor established this academy.
And as it turns out the old man that brought ahiro here is an elder of this academy and was somehow in debt to Ahiro's parents thus to pay this debt he brought Ahiro to this academy. But when ahiro asked about his parents he refused to say anything. And that's the last memory Ahiro had.
But it bothers me very much because it's only been a week since I possessed this body but Ahiro has been in this academy for more than a month and somehow I don't recall any memory of Ahiro's time in the academy.
