The demon known as Iradon laid before my eyes, he appeared to be eight feet tall. His knight armor was scratched and chipped, clear indication of many hard fought battles. His helmet obstructed his face, but black billowing smoke flowed its way out. It was reminiscent of a bubbling volcano on the verge of eruption. Very fitting for such an angry and cruel demon. While King Zarin's forces handled the regular demons, it was up to me and my companions to face Iradon. The battle field was littered with casualties from both sides. But in this moment, the only thing I wanted to do.
Was put an end to all the suffering. Iradon began walking from the castle to the field of battle. Me and my friends began to make our way to him. In the process, some of the Knights tried to attack Iradon, but every attempt was met with a swift death from one of Iradon's greatswords. However, as we made our approach. Many of the lower level demons attempted to kill us as well. In the end, it was always the same. Any demon that tried to attack us, fell at the hands of either my, Clay, or Graziellas blades. Kenith's Magic, or one of Azure's arrows.
Eventually, Iradon stood before us. His imposing figure practically blocked out the sun. As we all stood there, staring the demon down. He spoke to us. "So, this is the famous hero's party? Your not at all what I was expecting. It doesn't matter, you won't be leaving here alive!" In that moment, Iradon tried to take us out with one swing of his blade. My friends managed to jump out of the way in time, while I used a spell I created to move and counter. "Shift!" And just like that, while Iradon could see everyone move. To his eyes, it looked like I disappeared.
When in reality, shift is a spell I created using light, wind, and earth magic. It's a speed spell, I used it to not only move out of the way. I moved right above his head and launched an attack. "Take this! Wind blade kick!" I kicked him in the back of his head and sent him flying into a boulder that was about thirty feet away. Iradon was clearly taken by surprise, as evident by the cry of pain he uttered when he landed. His body was also partially stuck in the Boulder.
The force of the kick also knocked his helmet off, and now I could see his face. His skin seemed to be a mixture of red and black, and gave off the impression that his skin was charred and burned. He had horns that were similar to that of a bull, long pointed ears, long greasy black hair, and eyes with red irises and black eye balls. His face seemed to convey a mixture of anger and confusion. And soon, he removed himself from the Boulder and began to slowly laugh. He then began smiling maniacally and stared straight at me.
"Well well, it appears I may need to start getting serious. I didn't think that there was a human alive who could match my strength, before I put an end to you. Tell me your name human." He said with the excitement of a hunter who just found their latest toy. " My name is Nigel Nevermore." In this moment, I removed my katana from its sheath. I pointed it at Iradon, and continued. "And I'm the one whose gonna end you!" After that, I shifted again until I was behind him and kicked him into the air. Once he began flying into the sky.
He soared straight up about seventy five feet, I shifted again until I was above him. At which point, I hit him with a fire spell I created. "Six six six hell flame, infernal abyss!" And just like that, I sent him straight into the ground with an explosion of purple flames. The force rocked the battlefield so hard, it sent both Knights and demons flying in all directions. I shifted again until I was back on the ground, and made my way to where I blasted the demon. And when the smoke finally cleared.
I could see Iradon standing in a massive crater, attempting to use his two greatswords to hold himself up. He was also breathing heavily, clearly he took a lot of damage. But he was too stubborn to except that. "So, even my hell flame wasn't enough. I guess I'll have to kick things up a notch." Just then, I decided to use the spell I learned from Clay. I raised my left hand into the air, and a brown spell circle appeared above Iradon. He didn't seem to notice, giving me a great opportunity.
"Try this on for size, stone meteor crash!" Massive boulders began raining down on the demon, burying him completely. For a second, nothing happened. But just as I thought the battle was over, the mound of boulders exploded. Iradon emerged somehow, and let out a loud hardy laugh. "Interesting! So....interesting! I need more! Show me how strong you truly are!" Just then, Iradon lunged at me with his swords. Thankfully, I had prepared for this. I stuck my left arm out in front of me, and used a spell that I learned from the king. "Not so fast, Shine!"
A massive white light erupted from my hand, blinding the demon. "Argh! You bastard!" Iradon cried out in pain as the light temporarily blinded him, and with this. I used the opportunity to hit him with my strongest blade and magic technique. "Song of the wind, Tempest Slash!" I swung my blade and sent a slash of compressed wind at him. The force being so strong and sharp, he now had a giant gash in his body. The cut went from the left side of his stomach and up to his right shoulder.
The slash caused Iradon to cry out in pain once more. He lost a massive amount of blood in the process, and even fell to his knees. "So demon, you had enough yet?" I said in spite of it being painfully obvious. "Ha, we've only just begun kid." Iradon pulled out a weird looking vile that contained some kind of galaxy colored liquid. Once he drank it, he stood up once more. And suddenly erupted in a red and black aura while screaming at the top of his lungs. The force of the eruption sent me back about fifteen feet.
I was caught off guard by all this, but quickly I regained my composure. "Get ready kid, the real fight....starts now!" Iradon rushed me and began rapidly swinging his swords at me. If it wasn't for my shift spell, I wouldn't have been able to block his attacks with my sword. Iradon continued his onslaught, refusing to give me any time to breath. Soon, he knocked me into the air. That's when I decided to shift behind him immediately and hit him with a water spell. " Divine Icicle Lance!" And just like that, I created an enormous sharp icicle and threw it at Iradon with great force like a javelin.
However, without even missing a beat. Iradon turned and caught the icicle with his mouth and crushed it. "Is that the best you got kid!?" Iradon said with great annoyance. He then moved with tremendous speed and kicked me in the stomach. The force sent me flying about twenty feet, until I shifted right in front of him and put my hand on his chest. Thankfully, this caught him by surprise. "You want to see power, then I'll be glad to show you! Magnolia flame burst!" I hit the demon at point blank with an explosion of white flames.
The resulting force sent him flying for forty feet, and caused his chest plate to shatter. Leaving his body exposed, I then shifted until I was behind him and kicked him into the air again. He soared for sixty feet, until I shifted above him. "I was saving this for emergencies, so I guess this is as good a time as any. It ends for you here demon, Frenzy of Honor, Heavenly light blast!" In that moment, I sent a concentrated beam of light magic straight at Iradon. The force of the blast not only sent Iradon straight into the ground.
But the power of the magic left a massive hole at the center of his chest, and went straight through his body. I shifted until I was back on the ground, and found his lying still in a massive crater. The ground around his body had a large amount of blood on it. I stood there, staring at the demons body. While doing so, I was also breathing rather heavily. The battle really wore me out, I decided to sheath my katana and go find my friends. "Sorry demon, but this battle only had one outcome."
