Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 - Surge

Tarvador jumped into the air, and managed to tackle Iradon out of the sky. They both fell onto the ground on the other side of the hole. Once they stopped, Iradon kicked Tarvador off of him and sent him flying. However, thanks to his immense strength. Tarvador managed to stay on his feet, but he went sliding for about twenty feet before stopping. At this point, I shifted behind Iradon and kicked him towards Tarvador. The gracious Minotaur used the opportunity to try and swing his axe. Sadly, Iradon was but a single step ahead.

Iradon used the force of my kick to extend his wings, and take flight once more. Little did anyone know, that things were going according to plan. I decided to hit the demon with one of my strong water spells. I raised my left arm into the air, and a blue spell circle began floating right above my palm. "Absolute zero, rain of frost!" In this moment, dark clouds began forming and swirling above Iradon. Within seconds, large sharp icicles started to rain down. Iradon was able to destroy most of the barrage with his swords.

But eventually, each of his wings got impaled with the falling icicles. Subsequently knocking the demon out of the sky and pinning him to the ground by his wings. Tarvador used this chance to rush Iradon, and after noticing what was coming his way. The demon tried to break free, and within seconds managed to escape. But not without suffering first. Thanks to his speed, before Iradon got too far. Tarvador was able to slice the demons wings off with one strike. Causing the demon to cry out in pain and lose a lot of blood. "Argh! Damn you, you fucking Demi human trash!"

I shifted until I was in front of the demon, catching him off guard once more. I put my hand on Iradons face, and unleashed an earth spell. "Charm of the earth, scorching magma!" At this time, the demon received an explosion of boiling magma straight to his face. When this happened, I thought he was done for. But just like he promised before, it wasn't over. When the spell was done, half of Iradons face was completely obliterated. But it grew back instantaneously, and when Iradon set his gaze upon me.

He grinned, and punched me in my stomach. Sending me back thirty feet, and finally being stopped by getting lodged in a boulder. At this point, I began to cough up blood. "Argh! Damn it!" While this happened, Tarvador and Iradon began trading blows again with their blades. Only this time, even I could tell that Tarvador was having trouble keeping up now. I got myself off the boulder I hit and shifted behind Iradon. "Die you demon scum! Void of despair, exploding black flame!" I sent a concentrated blast of black flames through Iradons back.

This blast not only hit his back, it went straight through to his heart. This caused the demon to stop his attacks, and slowly but surely he fell over. He now laid flat on the ground, not moving a single inch. At this point, I could tell that Tarvador was breathing kinda heavily. "Hey, you good dude?" I asked with great concern. "Yeah, I'll be fine. This isn't my first rodeo you know. You think he's actually dead this time?" He said while staring at the demons body. "Well, he could be or maybe he isn't. At this point, I'm pretty sure it's the ladder. I actually have a hunch about this, follow me."

Me and Tarvador got about thirty feet away from Iradons body, and I decided to test a theory I had. I then put both my hands on the ground, and spoke. "Charm of the earth, stone shield." In this moment, a five foot tall rock wall erected itself in front of us. After some time, just like I thought. Iradon began to slowly stand back up. Once he was back on his feet, he kept his head down so we couldn't see his face. But, we did notice that he had a giant hole going through his chest where his heart would be.

Silence bathed the battlefield for what felt like hours, only to find it was mere seconds. The silence was then broken by the sound of Iradons body moving. His head suddenly reeled back, and his eyes and mouth had purple light pouring out of them. When that stopped, his body then sent out a large shock wave. Causing the surrounding ground to break into pieces. Thusly, I noticed that the demons body began to change. First, his in juries instantly healed themselves. He then grew until his body stood at about twelve feet tall.

Black veins then grew out from his heart and spread their way throughout his body. When this happened, his frame became much wider. And instantly grew muscles to an insane level that no one ever thought possible. He then began screaming and unleashed a pure red aura that made his presence even more menacing. "You pests have so much to learn about power...and I'll be glad to show you!" Iradons aura began moving even more ferociously, and soon. Within the blink of an eye, he was standing on top of the stone wall I created. Both me and Tarvador were caught off guard for a second.

"Die you vermin!" Iradon leapt from the wall and tried to strike us down. Upon seeing this, I shifted out of the way. Tarvador decided to block the attack, but this time. When his and Iradons blades clashed, he had trouble holding the demon back. Soon enough, Iradon sent the Minotaur flying into the same castle wall that I once threw Iradon into. This time, the wall shattered from the force and buried Tarvador in ruble. "Noooo! You asshole!" I growled at Iradon with such intense anger, that my body began to feel hot.

"HA HA HA HA HA! Don't you see human, this is what true strength looks like. You stand no chance of making it out of this in one piece. Just give up, or suffer the consequences." As Iradon spoke his last words, he pointed one of his swords in my direction. I couldn't help but stare the demon down with complete fury possessing my eyes. "You must be stupid if you even think for a second, that I would bow down to someone like you! I've been through too much just to get here and give up!"

I said with as much venom in my voice as I could muster. "Fine! Have it your way, I'm gonna enjoy making you suffer!" I drew my sword, and within a split second me and Iradon began trading blows. It was only during this clash that I realized something. It was only during this clash that I realized something. It was no wonder Tarvador got sent flying, Iradons strength was becoming more clear now. During our clash, I couldn't help but wonder if I could actually win. After about five minutes had passed, we stopped and stared each other down again. I maintained my angry eyes, while Iradon wore a cocky grin.

"You know, your tenacity is rather admirable. But the end of this battle is drawing near, and there's only one outcome waiting." He said with an immense amount of hubris clear in his voice. "Well, that's definitely something we can both agree on. However, there is one thing that's different." The demon now had an unamused look on his face. "Oh? And what would that be?" In that split second, I stuck my left arm out. And a blue spell circle appeared on my palm. I then made a motion with my hand, as if grabbing the circle and crushing it.

A gigantic amount of ice began erupting from the ground where Iradons feet were. It began to engulf his body, and trapped him in a giant ice shaped rose. With his body immobilized I walked up to him. "That would be, our reasons. Absolute zero, second wave. Blue ice rose!" I snapped my fingers, and the ice instantly twisted around his body and broke all of his limbs. Once this happened, the ice dispersed and his body dropped to the ground. I began to walk away, but as soon as I did. I noticed that the sky grew dark and thunder began to ring out.

I turned to see Iradon on his feet, only now. He looked immensely furious and enraged. His body was now covered in a pure black aura, with red electric crackles coming off the aura. It bared resemblance to that of red lightning. "You better come at me with everything kid, because now... I've reached my peak strength!" I stared at the demon, now feeling unamused myself. "Fine...lets do this! Secret technique, surging rainbow!!!!" I screeched at the top of my lungs, and within seconds. My whole eyes began glowing silver, and my body was now unleashing a voracious rainbow aura. It ended up being so powerful, that it caught the whole battlefields attention. Even Iradon himself, was now rendered speechless.
