Chapter 28 - Journey Home

Coughing a few more times, I stared up at Gao Chen, who had raked her hand through her hair as she stared down at me.

"Yeah, I could definitely get used to that..."

Her raspy whisper made me shiver, but I watched on in disappointment as she helped me up and moved over to her dresser, pulling out a new set of robes to wear.

Cleaning off my face, I slid back onto the stood in front of the mirror, glancing over at Gao Chen before retrieving the seed in my pocket.

That woman had told me to swallow the seed to truly accept her offer, so I swiftly, and hiddenly, placed the seed on my tongue before swallowing it down, feeling it slip into my stomach before it phased into my dantian.

Coughing again, I shivered as I felt something cold spread throughout my body, my heart pounding in my chest as I observed the changes inside of me.

My previously filled dantian was drained of the murky water, which swirled around the small sprout of a plant inside my dantian.

The roots of the plant spread to my meridians, draining my Qi for a few seconds before falling silent, not doing anything else.

However, even with the swift drainage of my Qi, I felt just a strong as before, before gasping again as something entered my mind.

It was a Cursed Seal, and as I read through the manual that entered my mind, I grew shocked.

This seal would amplify the pleasure Gao Chen felt when she was with me, whilst dampening what she felt with others.

Besides that, it placed a Seal on her body and wormed its way into her thoughts, making her think of me more often.

As I read more and more, I realized that it was a double edged sword for the current weak me.

If I placed this on her, and she only felt good with me, I wouldn't be able to resist her when she wished to relieve herself...

Biting my lip, I frowned as I felt a rush of anticipation flood my heart at that thought, confusing me greatly.

Did I want to be below her?

Was that what I craved?

Or was that all that I knew?

Sighing, I fixed up my makeup as quickly as I could, pushing the thoughts to the back of my mind for the moment.

Gao Chen watched as I stood up, her orange eyes fixed on me as I shuffled over to her.

"Alright, we'll take a carriage over to Orchard Peak and visit your parents, where I'll ask to have our wedding ceremony in a few weeks and announce our baby..."

I nodded, before shivering again as she grabbed my chin, her eyes hard as she growled "So don't fuck this up for me, Yi'er. Act like my wife whilst we are with your parents, and when we come home you can do whatever it is you please."

Staring up into her eyes, I felt my earlier arousal return, enjoying the way she was staring at me.

She was staring at only me.

Giving her another nod, I almost reached out to grab her arm when she released me, watching as she walked away.

Swiftly following behind her, I stared at her hand as I wondered what had come over me recently.

It had only been a short time, and yet I had gone from hating her to...

Wanting her.

It was odd; she had raped me upon our first real meeting, and she had continued to do so, and yet...

Shaking my head, I reached forwards and grabbed her hand, moving to stand just a step behind her.

Gao Chen glanced down at me before shrugging, continuing forwards towards the entrance of the Shimmering Palace.

Awaiting us at the front was an ornate carriage, made entirely from Dark Jade and Frosted Gold.

Tethered to the front of the carriage were two black feathered Fenghuangs, the graceful birds glancing over at Gao Chen, their orange gold eyes warm as she nodded to them.

"Little bunny, meet En and Zhong, my two faithful Fenghuang companions. I raised them from their eggs..."

Her sentimental smile made my heart twang, and I glanced at the two proud bird creatures, meeting their gaze.

They stared at me in confusion, before En, the thinner one, tilted its head and leaned down, it's gold streaked beak larger than my arm.

The giant beast stared into my eyes, letting out a soft coo as it leaned further down, nuzzling against my cheek.

Giggling at its soft feathers tickling my face, I reached up and stroked its cheek as well, the bird letting out another coo.

Zhong, the larger, bulkier bird joined En moments later, and I was suddenly surrounded by fluffy black feathers, the softness enveloping my body with ease.

"En! Zhong! Come on, let her breath! Besides, we need to go!"

Gao Chen's voice was sharp, making all three of us jump, before we exchanged glances.

Nodding to one another, I retreated from the soft feathers and rejoined Gao Chen, who lifted me into the ornate carriage.

Sitting across from her, I took in the luxurious cabin that we were now sitting in, the velvet seats and Black Jade screaming wealth.

Lounging on her own seat, Gao Chen knocked on the cabin wall behind her, and the carriage was gently pulled forwards, the two Fenghuangs taking to the air.

"Remember, Yi'er-"

"Act. I remember, Gao Chen..."

She nodded at my whisper, and the cabin fell silent as she closed her eyes, taking this opportunity to cultivate.

I joined her, my hand landing on the turquoise coin and utilizing the dark vapors it released, managing to cultivate a few more droplets of Water Qi, allowing the plant inside me to absorb one droplet.

It was odd, seeing a plant growing inside my dantian and rooting out into my meridians, but I could tell that the power I had now was more than I had yesterday...

And that was with no cultivation at all.

So what would my future look like?
