The woman's whole body vibrated in anger as well as her heavy ornaments she was clothed in. Her black eyes narrowed at Larisa and her face was twisted in a mixture of contempt and disgust as she glared at the human girl, which was obvious that she had immense hatred for her because she was Lothaire's mate.
"You took our kingdom and left us with nothing and I shall return the favour by taking her useless life!" The woman spat out in anger as she gave them venomous looks.
"That'll never happen!" Lothaire growled lowly in between gritted teeth as his golden eyes burned hellishly towards the woman in fury.
"I'll have your breed mate's heart in the palm of my hands!!" The woman growled ferociously as her black eyes shone with a merciless dark intent. It was quiet for a second, then all of a sudden the air changed, the air around them grew heavier and they all felt the darkness emanating from the woman as the whole of her eyes turned pure black, her body twisted backward and forward, they all watched as her lower body slowly conjoined together and started increasing in size with black scales forming on it and in a blink of an eye, her lower body transformed to a large scaly tail, her canines elongated and her tongue split in two like a snake's as she hissed vehemently at them with her large tail shaking the ground as she moved. No one was expecting the new turn of event as she transformed into a half snake which was enormous. Larisa shook in fear as she looked at the pale skinned woman who turned into a vicious terrifying beast and the woman looked nothing but pure evil as she hissed at them with dark mists surrounding her.
Lothaire didn't waste any time in getting prepared to attack as a sword manifested in his hand surrounded with flames of hell blazing on it. His golden eyes blazed hellishly similar to his sword and his aura became even more eerie as darkness emanated from every pore of his skin. Larisa watched as Lucifer manifested a sword in his hand similar to Lothaire's and at that moment, they both seemed unable to differentiate except for Lucifer's long hair that waved behind him as he charged towards the sorceress along with Lothaire.
The rest of them didn't stand around as they joined in the fight, making sure the sorceress was nowhere near Larisa. Lothaire and Lucian both lunged their swords at her scaly tail in a flash but it was impenetrable as they tried to pierce through it, which left them a bit shocked.
"Ha ha ha, not so sure you can get rid of me?" She mocked as she laughed wickedly at them but she was wrong, her scales were impenetrable but her skin wasn't. The rest of the team tried to attack her with their claws but she whipped them hard with her powerful tail which sent them flying towards the air and landing far from her with a loud thud but they got up and attacked again. Lycan spat hellish flames from the pit of his stomach towards the sorceress but her tail blocked the attack. Lycan flew towards her but she dodged his attack and swiftly wrapped her large tail around it's neck while shielding herself from their attacks. The beast clawed severely through her scaly tail since it shielded her upper body that wasn't immune to strikes but her grip tightened around it's neck and it's strikes grew slower and weaker until it dropped limp in her hold. Lothaire had been trying to get her grip off of Lycan, striking her with his sword and trying to burn through her scales but it was useless, so he watched the life from the beast's golden eyes slowly fade until Lycan dropped unconscious as he heard it's neck snap.
Lothaire became filled with fury as he levitated in the air with inhumane speed and he lunged his sword at her neck to slice it off but she blocked his hit with her large tail as she wrapped her self with it, causing the hit to land on her hard scales which was as good as useless. They attacked her all at once but her tail was shielding her from their attacks that came down on her nonstop. She lifted herself up from the ground still shielded from their attacks and immediately lashed her tail down at them furiously with speed hoping to crush them all as she moved with inhumane speed causing the earth to shake heavily. The effect of her actions left Darius with broken legs that slowly healed and Avian with a broken spine that would take a lot of time to heal because he was completely paralysed, so he couldn't move a finger.
Onyx rushed to Avian who was hurt but she knew he'd heal so she slowly left his side with a pained expression as well as Adina to join the fight.
Lothaire knew the only way to defeat her was to separate her powerful tail from her weak upper body to enable him to rip out her heart or her head but she was well aware of her weakness which made her shield her upper body from them with her powerful tail. She crawled with inhuman speed towards Larisa who was hiding in a small cave with Zion shielding her, but she couldn't get an inch close when a strong hand grabbed her tail viciously and flung her far away from Larisa, the sorceress hit a wall with immense force, her bones in her body would have all been broken but her powerful tail shielded her from harm.
Lothaire and Lucian tried to unwrap her tail to expose her weak upper body but it was too powerful, even as powerful as they were but it was only her tail that contained such power.
Lucifer had an idea, the sorceress wouldn't be able to kill Larisa unless she exposed her weak form so no matter what they did, they would never be able to defeat her if they didn't use Larisa as bait to expose her weakness, but the problem was that Lothaire would never agree to use Larisa as bait, so he did what he had to do even though Lothaire would be burning with fury afterwards.
Lucifer grabbed Lothaire who was distracted on his determination in killing the sorceress, he didn't see what was coming next and Lucifer suddenly plunged his blazing sword into his heart as fast as lightning heartlessly with not a hint of remorse in his eyes.
"This is the only way." Lucifer whispered to him with cold eyes and Lothaire knew he was changing plans but the glint in his eyes told him it wasn't a very safe one. Everyone's mouth fell open, thinking Lucifer had betrayed them as he pierced his son's heart. The sword in Lothaire's heart wouldn't kill him, but it made him incredibly weak as he slumped on the floor with furious eyes glowering at his father, threatening him with his eyes that if he fucked up he'd take his head off. Larisa screamed in agony when she saw Lucifer stab Lothaire and tried to run towards him but Zion held her firmly restricting her from leaving their barely safe haven even though he was just as shocked as she was.
Lucifer sped like lightning towards Larisa and Zion stood in front of her like a shield with doubtful eyes at him as he walked towards Larisa with a cold expression.
"Come with me child." He commanded with a dark voice but she moved back instinctively and Zion reluctant to leave her side. Lucifer didn't waste any time as he grabbed Zion by the neck and snapped it broken, throwing him on the floor like a rag doll. He knew the kid would heal so he didn't bother much but Larisa eyes shone in fear as her whole body shook in terror that Lucifer had betrayed them and was trying to kill her, but for unknown reasons. She whimpered as he grabbed her arm and led her out in the open where the sorceress was. Adina and Onyx had paused fighting and hidden themselves in a corner along with Avian who was paralysed and Darius who was crippled as they slowly healed and they watched as Lucifer brought Larisa out who was whimpering and sobbing heavily as she looked at Lothaire with pained eyes as he knelt on the floor weakened by the blazing sword sticking out of his chest, that he could barely hold his own weight. His golden eyes locked with hers but he didn't seem too worried and she knew deep down that no matter how weak he was, he would never watch her die so easily.
"She's all yours!" Lucifer said with a dark voice to the sorceress still shielded with her powerful tail but in a second, she unwrapped herself, exposing her upper body and a smile crept to her lips thinking that Lucifer had betrayed his son which wasn't surprising.
"Why are you giving me what I want?" She asked, demanding an answer from him.
"My son will never rule the underworld with me, but having someone as powerful as you, you can give me a new powerful heir that will rule beside me. So I'm actually making a new deal, out with the old." Lucifer explained with a serious expression, his words felt so genuine that even Lothaire started having doubts about his plan, that his father might have tricked him but he figured his plan wouldn't work if he was lacking sincerity in his words. Adina and Onyx watched in fright as their hearts pounded hard against their chest thinking they were all doomed after hearing what Lucifer had offered the sorceress and there was nothing they could do about it.
"Hmm, quite a tempting deal...I'll take it!" The sorceress drawled as she hissed maliciously with her black eyes peering through Larisa with a blood thirsty intent to take her life. She had no doubt against Lucifer because of the way everyone suddenly looked at him in pure horror and she could feel their raw fear which didn't look like it was all planned out. Lothaire's eyes was closing shut into unconsciousness as blood flowed from his wounds but he couldn't go unconscious, not when his mate was bait, so he tried to take out the sword from his chest but it only burned him and it didn't budge even after he ignored the burning pain but he didn't give up and continued to try to take it out with all his strength. The sorceress glowered down at Lothaire with a wicked glint in her eyes as she saw him struggle to save his mate from her hands and she gave him a malicious smile before charging towards Larisa who stood frozen in fear as Lucifer held her in place to prevent her escape.
