The two were being escorted through the streets by the two knights.One was infront showing the way and the other behind them.Glen didn't enjoy this at all.Did they think that they will run away?.Glen knew that that is what they would do if the knight wasn't behind them.
"Hey, Glen,why do you think they are rushing this recruitment?"Sam asked loud enough for the two knights to here.But they did not react at all.Of cause,they knew it was all about the demons attacking.He just wanted to tease these two armoured humans.
Glen understood what Sam was doing and he joined up,"I seem to be confused a bit...Why would they use kids on battles?"He asked,"Are the knights too weak or are they experiencing white hair growing on their bodies with theie skins coiling like an over fed bulldog,".The knight infront suddenly stopped,Sam not being keen with him l,he bumped on the metallic armour causing him to fall down while his nose started bleeding.Glen's nerves were alarming him as he thought that he had angered the man.The knight did not even move an inch from the hit as he turned around, darted his eyes on Sam who layed on his back bleeding, then spoke,"We are here,we will hand you to one of the teachers to get you adapted quickly on the school".
Infront of them was a large gate with a shield and sword symbol at the centre.The two boys did not even notice that they were out of the palace street and we're now in the Royal Grounds.It is where the king's castle is located.They had passed the great palace wall.Glen wondered how they did not notice this huge wall but threw the thought at the back of his mind.
The gate was then opened from the inside and there stood another knight.But his armour was a bit different from the others'.It had a green line running down at each side of the chest piece.The knights that brought them here had red lines instead.Glen did not know what the colour meant.Even Sam didn't understand the difference.
"Welclome to the Royal Knight Academy where your dreams come true,"the man said as he signaled the two to enter.They were hesitant but the two knights behind them push them in."He should have said where dreams a shattered,"Glen thought as he had lost his balance from the push almost falling.
"The Duke demands for more,"the man again said,but this time to the other knights from before,"Send out more team's to collect more recruits,". With that the two men left and the other one shut the gate.
"Follow me boys,"he demanded,"You can call me Earl Harry".
The place was magnificent as there was one large building that surrounded them in an almost complete circle with two entries opposite each other that divided the building into two halves.There was a large arena at the centre with high spectators' platforms.They entered one half of the buildings' half through a large door.The room they entered was almost dingy."I guess I was right,these guys are kinda tired.They can't even clean a room?"Glen thought.There at the centre they saw a group of other teenagers about a hundred in number.The room was really huge.Some teenagers stayed on their own, others with their friends chatting.
Glen and Sam decided to go to one side of the room on their own.Harry,walked towards a round raised platform as he faced the group.
"Attention please,"the room of one hundred went quite,"As I told each one of you,am Earl Harry.And you are now my responsibility.Other groups of around your age will be brought and they will be taken care of".He went quite as he waited to see if there will be any questions before he continues.Just like he guessed,there was a raised hand of someone whome he thought wasn't talkative.
"When are going back home?"Glen asked.This caused the others to laugh,"There will be nothing like home.You are your own home".Harry answered.This caused the ones who were still laughing go dead silent.
