Running through the forest Amelia heard her pursuers following behind her getting ever so closer.

*snap*

"Run little one Run! It only makes the chase more fun!" Said a pursuer in a voice filled with excitement.

Hearing this Amelia knew that the only thing she could do was run faster and hoped to reach Sarien's domain within this forest to ensure her and her baby's survival.

Amelia felt herself getting slower and starting to see black at the corners of her eyes. She has been running for what felt like an eternity but feeling her baby in her arms reminded her that if she stop then they both would die. She couldn't and wouldn't stop till he was safe.

"Found you." said one of her pursuers from behind.

Hearing it get closer second by second Amilia knew that she couldn't fight back in her current condition but only hope to find Sarien in time.

"Sarien Where are you!!" Amelia yelled in hopes that she would hear her.

Hoping Sarien heard her, Amelia continued to run as fast as she could through the forest with the pain that has been building up in her body.

"Ahhhh!" Amelia felt claws dig into her back and hot liquid across her skin. Feeling herself falling to the ground Amelia turned hers so that when she fell her baby would be safe.

Looking up she saw her pursuers who were three creatures with a humanoid body covered in fur and claws as sharp as knives. But this is not what caught Amelia's attention it was instead their faces that had snouts like a dog but with teeth that looks like they could bite through anything.

Seeing that her pursuers were about to kill her. She knew that she had failed her baby by not being able to protect him.

Just as the creatures were about to pounce there appeared a panther. Not any ordinary panther but one that was 6 feet tall with fur as black as night and had a vertical third red eye.

" Sarien you arrived," said Amelia as if she was trying to confirm whether what she was seeing was real or not.

"Yes now let me deal with these pest" Sarien said in a tone that sounded like comfort to Amelia but a death sentence to the creature.

Knowing who they were up against and that they were outmatched the three creatures tried to run away but it was too late. Sarien's eyes glowed a hint of green and then a green horizontal blade appeared and cut off the three creatures' heads and anything else that was in the way.

Seeing that Sarien had taken care of the threat Amelia felt her consciousness fading and knew that she wasn't going to make it. So with the last of her strength and with great trouble Amelia said

"P…Please take care of my ch…child."

Thinking for a bit Sarien finally said.

"I… will."
