It had only been around ten minutes before they were quickly approaching Bing Meifeng's residence. During that short time Tie Zhu managed to get a rough understanding about the cultivation background on Earth however there were still many unanswered questions. This was partly due to the time limitation, however a large part was also due to Bing Meifeng's lack of knowledge on the topics. Although she had a basic grasp on the background of cultivation, there were still many hidden factions and secrets that she was unaware of.
From his understanding, the cultivation ranks were similar to the ones that Wang Yazhu had described earlier, however it seemed that the limit for cultivation was only the Nascent Soul realm, which in itself was so rare that only the leaders of the four largest hidden sects were able to reach it. It could even be said that if one reached that stage, they could effortlessly wipe out an enirte city with just a thought. Because of this, all of the four major sects made an agreement to act against anyone who would do such a thing and had actually formed a secret organization together that worked with the government to control cultivation related crimes.
This secret organization was called the Golden Phoenix and while some of their members had actually come from the sects themselves, the majority of its members were recruited from outside. Those who performed well would even be given chances to become inner sect disciples, giving them better access to more resources which was the main reason that people willingly joined.
Bing Meifeng even mentioned that she had heard that the some of the major sects actually had their own separate pocket dimensions that could transport them to different worlds, which was why they had more access to cultivation resources. Although she mentioned that this was only a rumor she had heard of.
As Tie Zhu focused on the road ahead, trying to imprint every detail into his mind, a loud and ferocious growl erupted from his stomach, shattering the silence. The hunger had crept up on him, forgotten in the midst of all the recent events. He realized with a jolt that he hadn't eaten anything for over a day and a half. The hunger pangs twisted in his gut, making him feel like he could devour an entire cow in one go.
The sound of his stomach growling caught Bing Meifeng's attention, reminding her of her own empty stomach. Despite her advanced cultivation at the 9th step of Qi Condensation, her body still required sustenance to function properly. While she could last longer than an average person without food, she knew that only at the Foundation Establishment realm could one truly survive without any food.
"Were almost at my place, you can come in if you want. There should be some food inside for you to eat. " She said after she noticed that they were both hungry. "Just turn left right here and follow the road until you reach the gates to that residential apartment, there shouldn't be anyone at home so you don't have to worry. " She said while pointing to a high end residential apartment. In fact, the place where she directed Tie Zhu to was not the main villa located near the lake, but another property that her parents owned.
She did not want to raise any unwanted attention to herself at home since she did not come home last night. Furthermore she was currently dressed in extremely precious robes that she planned on keeping hidden. Additionally, there was the fact that she was still feeling a sharp burning pain in between her legs. With her mother's sharp eyes she was afraid that she might be discovered, so taking into account everything she decided to go to the apartment instead.
Although Tie Zhu was initially hesitant to agree, he found no reason to doubt Bing Meifeng's offer. Plus, he could use this time to ask her more questions about the world he had been thrust into. With his stomach growling in hunger, he eventually acquiesced, and they drove up to the gates that automatically opened upon recognizing Bing Meifeng's car. After following her instructions on parking, they made their way to the elevators and ascended to the top floor.
As Bing Meifeng unlocked the door to the penthouse apartment, Tie Zhu was struck by the luxurious interior. The design was a stunning mix of modern elegance and extravagance, with polished marble flooring, plush furniture, and breathtaking views. It was a space fit for a king, and Tie Zhu couldn't help but feel a bit out of place amidst all the opulence.
"The kitchen is just to your right, feel free to cook or eat whatever you want. I'm going to take another shower, I'll be back in 15 minutes" Bing Meifeng said after taking her shoes off, while she noticed Tie Zhu eyes darting around the apartment.
Seeing that Bing Meifeng had already disappeared, Tie Zhu hurriedly made his way to the kitchen. He quickly set about scouring the cupboards and fridge for any sign of sustenance. However, all he could find were some meager packets of instant noodles and a few eggs. His expectations had been sky-high, given the luxurious penthouse, but he couldn't help feeling disappointed. "I guess this will have to do."
With a sigh, he set the kettle to boil and heated up the stove to fry the eggs. As he waited for the water to boil, he couldn't help but wonder if the noodles would be enough to satisfy their hunger. He knew that Bing Meifeng would be hungry as well. Just as he was about to finish cooking, a sudden realization dawned on him. He had an abundance of fresh meat and other exotic delicacies stored in his spatial stone.
Though Tie Zhu wasn't sure of the origins of these exotic foods, his hunger and cravings were too strong to ignore. He guessed that Wang Yazhu must have enjoyed them, as he wouldn't have bothered to store them otherwise, considering his high cultivation. Tie Zhu infused his spiritual energy into the spatial stone and focused on the mountains of food. Upon closer inspection, he was blown away by the variety of unusual and intoxicating aromas emanating from them.
He saw a crab-like creature over 5 meters long with a shell covered in precious gems, golden eggs the size of a grown human, and carcasses of dragon-like creatures. As Tie Zhu continued to explore the mountain of exotic foods in his spatial stone, he stumbled upon some truly peculiar items. One of them was a fruit that looked like a cross between a dragonfruit and a pomegranate, with a vibrant pink exterior and small, black seeds.
Another item that caught his eye was a jar filled with a bright green paste that gave off a strong, spicy aroma. When he withdrew this from his spatial stone, he dipped his finger in it and tasted it. As he did so, he was hit with an intense burst of heat that spread throughout his entire body, causing his eyes to water and his heart to race. But at the same time, he felt a surge of energy and vitality coursing through his veins.
As he continued to search, he came across a fish that looked like a cross between a rainbow trout and a koi, with shimmering scales in every color of the rainbow. But when he touched it, he realized that the scales were actually made of some sort of crystalline material, and were so hard that they could be used as a weapon. "How am i supposed to cook this??" He thought, before putting it back in the stone.
As he continued to explore, he noticed a smaller portion of meat that was already cut into steak-like pieces, with a lot of intramuscular fat that looked similar to Japanese A5 wagyu. The fat in this steak was glowing and pulsating different shades of Gold, as if it were still alive. Despite its bizarre appearance, it seemed like one of the more manageable things to cook, so he withdrew two cuts of it, his mouth watering in anticipation.
