The black dragon attacked ferociously. The black flames that were said to be stronger than the red flames almost swallowed Sansega and Sin alive. Usually, this kind of fire would be released by a dragon when it felt threatened. However, Sansega again created a barrier from his healing magic that was known to be the most powerful in the entire Cluster Continent.
Because the shield was made with healing magic, the power it produced was not like an ordinary magic shield, but rather a natural passive immunity of antibodies against black magic. Every flame that was blown onto their skin felt cold as the healing magic immediately moved to revitalize the body.
Sansega began to swing the sword at the black dragon flying above him. The long black claws that adorned each of the dragon's fingers looked sharp, powerful, and terrifying, and even Sansega could only make a slight break after five attempts to slash with the sword.
"I will not be defeated by a demon!"
A greenish glow enveloped the entire sword.
"Sin, if I say go, you have to go, understand?!"
"But—"
"Leave or die?!" Sin nodded quickly even though he was no longer visible to Sansega who had been preoccupied by the Demon Dragon again.
A complicated magic formation was focused on by the man to create a magic pentagram that revealed an ancient green script. The light that enveloped his sword glowed even brighter. Soon, several illusory leprechauns came out from the magic-circled ground.
They attacked the black dragon with water and light magic to represent the two main elements Sansega possessed. Meanwhile, Sansega flew on his artificial green cloud slowly approaching the dragon.
"Sin, go quickly!" Sansega shouted sternly.
Although hesitant, Sin continued to run as directed by the Doctor. Every now and then he looked back, making sure Sansega would be okay. He had to meet the fairy queen and tell her about this.
Meanwhile, Sansega parried the dragon's attack, then counterattacked by cutting off the horn that stood on the upper left side of the demon dragon's head. The dragon cried out in pain as black flames again rushed at Sansega's body.
"Damn, I feel the heat a little. I need to reinforce my magic!"
The spell began to be chanted. The green light surrounding his body grew brighter. Sansega slashed the sword again at every part of the dragon's body that he felt was safe from the black flames or its long nails.
The dragon constantly shouted while spraying black flames at Sansega and the illusory leprechaun. A few times Sansega was able to avoid it, but often he was also hit by the extremely hot black magic. Although the green barrier could still protect him, his mana was already quite depleted after last night's participation in the treatment of war victims.
He almost staggered as attack after attack ripped through his body. Sansega felt odd about this. As he continued to attack the dragon, he scanned his surroundings until he found a red-eyed black cat with sharp horns all over its back, levitating small red spheres from its eyes that looked dangerous.
Sansega saw the large red sphere that he had managed to dodge crash into a large rock causing it to shatter into pieces. Petrossa was a terrible kind of cat! However, there was no time to marvel at the power of that one demon pet.
If the pet existed, then there was a good chance the master was hiding somewhere. Sansega began to be wary. His eyes traveled around scanning the several corners of the village that were already covered in flames and smoke.
However, his body was thrown to the ground as the Dragon's wings flapped brutally. The green clouds that had been a beachhead vanished along with the illusory leprechauns. Sansega felt his mana drain away, even though a few seconds ago he could still control it.
A creature with red eyes and skin as dark as the moonless night sky appeared from behind the flames. Rough wrinkles lined the bone line of its long nose, large arm muscles bulging beneath its blood-red armor. Sansega was certain that the creature in front of him was a second-level demon because of the red aura that marked it.
Demons were divided into several levels. Tier one demons possessed immense power and were capable of destroying an entire city in a short period of time. They have a pitch-black aura that can make living things such as plants or insects around them die.
Second-level demons have a red aura and a foul smell that pierces the smell. Their strength is not as great as the first-level demons, but they cannot be underestimated. An elf village with the best warriors could face them alone. If you don't want to bother, these demons will send their subordinates, namely monsters to attack an object of interest.
While third-level demons consist of various types of petrossa, dragons, orcs, minotaurs, and other terrible monsters. They can be controlled easily by the first and second level demons.
The long nails that grew on each of the Demon's fingers caressed Sansega's head. The second-level demon's aura around him made Sansega's chest feel tight. It became even more tight when an unpleasant scent greeted his nose.
"Yoghiwara ...."
The demon laughed loudly. Ignoring Sansega who tried to get up. However, he couldn't because his legs felt heavy. As a doctor and a warrior, Sansega did not want to give up. He returned to grasp the sword that was only a few centimeters away next to him. Again, his body collapsed. His energy was completely depleted.
The demonic voice that sounded more like a hiss came back.
"Yoghiwara... I finally found you."
Sansega growled in pain as he felt the demon's nails pierce his right cheek. Then the creature tore into it until blood began to pool there. It didn't stop there, as it pierced the other cheek ready to be ripped off again.
"Stop it, you fool!" cursed Sansega.
The demon laughed out loud.
"It's been a long time since I've ripped off human skin. This is a good day."
In the midst of his pain, a group of warriors consisting of the best warriors of the Jegedi Kingdom and the Jegedi Elf Kingdom came carrying their respective weapons. They were shocked to see Sansega, who looked tortured with blood flowing down his cheeks and other parts of his body. Meanwhile, next to Sansega, the demon slowly stood up and grinned widely.
The soldiers looked at the demon furiously. This was the first time they had faced a second-level demon who had barely set foot on the Cluster Continent since hundreds of years ago when the last interracial war took place.
"You guys seem excited," greeted the demon with a big smile.
Among the warriors, Sansega could see Alegro in the front row with Yurispe and Juci. It was a relief to see that all three of them had survived the mysterious battle last night.
Behind them, there were many soldiers that Sansega didn't recognize. A total of five rows to the back and ten rows to the side. Without lingering, Alegro teleported to where Sansega was.
Just as he was about to take Sansega by teleporting again, the Devil snapped his fingers making everyone stand stiffly. This was not time magic, but inter-dimensional teleportation. Evidenced by the appearance of the sky, which was originally blue-black due to the smoke from the fire set by the demon dragon, now turned a shiny red color filled with thunderous lightning.
Everyone swallowed hard saliva. The auxiliary soldiers who lacked experience looked pale with their bodies shaking violently. Before they could attack, they had already been given a terrifying surprise. This was the Karavel dimension.
The Karavel Dimension or the Mind Dimension known as the devil's hell was not on the Karavel Continent. That realm originated from the devil's own mind. No one can return to the real world except people whose strength is greater than the demon who owns the mind.
"This... we're trapped," Juci muttered in annoyance without being able to move his body.
As far as the eye could see there was only a blackened barren field with many long cracks. In every crack there was hot lava flowing or even often gushing upwards.
As everyone panicked in their helplessness, the Devil laughed crisply, so much so that it raised the goosebumps of the humans trapped there.
"What do you want?" Sansega shouted as he endured the pain.
The demon grinned.
"Green heirloom ...."
Everyone gasped. They had guessed it from the start, but hearing the demon's confession firsthand made worry and fear haunt every heart.
Images of interracial warfare, horrific slavery, and the destruction of the world loomed before their eyes. However, they could not allow this.
"You will never find him! All the Yoghiwara Family are dead!" said Juci.
The Devil laughed loudly again and again.
"Then, who is this next to me, Human?"
Next to him was Sansega. The heir to the green heirloom that no one knew about because of the memory-crippling magic spread by the Green Heirloom Guardian Leprechaun. Of course, the demon's words surprised them. Sansega had never revealed his identity as Yoghiwara.
Meanwhile, Sansega was no less surprised. He couldn't even believe what the dark demon who loved to laugh was saying.
"Nonsense! I am not Yoghiwara!"
"You can't dodge, Yoghiwara!"
"I am not Yoghiwara! You have the wrong person! I am Sakerio!"
Once again, Sansega's words caught people by surprise. This was because Sansega had never revealed his identity as Sakerio before. For all they knew, Sansega was a commoner from Serilla City who was endowed with the greatest healing power in the entire continent.
The devil laughed even harder. Then it stopped and took a firm grip on Sansega's hair.
"Don't try to mess with me, Yoghiwara! Your magic has already proven it! Do I need to remind you that Sakerio is allied with Yoghiwara and you... you are the result of the Yoghiwara family leader's marriage to Sakerio, Foolish Man!"
"No... no way!"
Silence fell a little more than before. Disbelieving faces filled the atmosphere. Until finally, with a look of frustration, the demon created a black vortex in his palm. Then, he aimed the magic at Sansega's stomach.
Instantly, Sansega cried out in pain as he felt something brutally pierce his stomach. The warriors and soldiers looked in horror at the torture before their eyes.
"Who has the audacity to change your memories!" The demon kept slamming the black magic until it felt like Sansega's bones, stomach, intestines, and heart were churning together.
After he was satisfied with beating Sansega, he stopped his magic. Then looked angrily at the humans and fairies who had originally wanted to defeat the demon and save Sansega.
Once again he created a vortex in the palm of his hand, this time the vortex was much larger than before. The demon threw the vortex at the people still trapped there so that cries of pain echoed throughout the Karavel Dimension.
Sansega's eyes, which were beginning to blur, could see one by one of them die horribly with blood and organs falling out of place. Including Alegro, Yurispe, and Juci.
"I won't kill you, Yoghiwara. Not before I get that green heirloom!"
