Dennis…
One more week had passed and nothing unusual happened. My STEM class continued polishing their presentation to perfect it, and I started to become more and more impressed. The shadow props were amazing. You wouldn't think that's what they looked like until the shadow hit the white curtain. Valdez did a great job on this, and everyone agrees.
From time to time, I would peek into their practice at the Peak Homes covered court. I no longer accompanied the students when they went there, especially Ledesma and Locsin. I always made excuses so they wouldn’t have to wait for me. They didn’t bother me when I informed them, except for Ledesma.
He started calling me “Sir Den” instead of Mr. Toledo, and he began acting like we were very close. It’s not that I dislike it because we had an arrangement to address each other by our first names when we talked. But I didn’t expect that I would also be on a “first-name” basis with him.
