Everyone had a heavy heart as they made the hike back home. It took longer to get back, just because they had to keep stopping because of Seijis injuries. It was harder for him to hike up certain trails in the mountains. Shaoqing spent most the time supporting Seiji and trying to help nurse him back to health. He didn't really focus too much on his own injury.
"Shaoqing," Seiji said when the other boy started to put new bandages on his injury. "How's your shoulder?"
"Huh?" Shaoqing asked, looking up at Seiji before giving him a small smile. "I'm okay, really. The pain is going away little by little. It's nothing compared to your injuries. I'll be okay."
"I hope so," Seiji said with a frown before hissing in pain and closing his eyes. Shaoqing's eyes widened before he immediately got to work on checking Seiji's injuries. The rest of the group was quiet, everyone sitting in their own groups.
