Abigail's heart started to race as the Carriage left the west.
Unfamiliar roads began to settle and the carriage started to shake due to the bad road.
As the bumpy ride continues, Abigail's thoughts were set on her memories regarding how her life was way better before her Mother's death. Everything was perfect.
The ride took on for 2 hours while Abigail dazed out the window during their entire trip. The minute the carriage took a stop, she knew she has gotten laer destination.
As the Coachman came out of the car and helped her down, Abigail's jaw flew open.
This place was humongous. It looked 10 times bigger than her palace. Everything looked so damn valuable, even the trail was sparkly. She was so distracted by the outcome, she didn't notice a maid approaching her.
"Your Majesty" A voice called out catching her attention. She watches as a young beautiful woman around her age approaches her in a maid costume.
"It's an honour to meet you, your Majesty. I'm the head maid of this castle. Miss Adeola." She curtseys.
"We have been expecting you. Welcome to the Salvole East Palace," Adeola continues.
"Would you like me to take you to your room?" She says as Abigail nods lightly while holding Puddin in her hands.
"Oh! And do you mind if you get me some Milk? I've got company" Abigail stated as Adeola stares down at Puddin with a grin on her face.
"Of course your Majesty"

"Young Master! She's here!" A butler knocked on Carol's door.
Carol stayed silent as he watches Abigail's arrival from his window.
"Young Master, May I come in?" Says the butler noticing his silence.
"Yes Benjamin" Carol voiced, his eyes still glued outside the window.
"Young Master" Benjamin bows respectively.
"This is the 5th concubine this year you are prone to get engaged to before your Grandfather Agate III died- Are you sure she is the one?" Benjamin speaks while facing Carol who's eyes was still outside the window.
"Yes she is, and she's gonna be the last."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Abigail and Adeola enters the castle lounge with some royal guards guarding them from behind. Each and every path and opening was guarded, one of them being a door that looked a little too important to be the throne room.
"That's his Majesty's room" Adeola speaks noticing Abigail's fixed gaze at the door leading to Carol's room.
"His room is the most restricted place in the palace. That room is currently out of anybody's reach" Adeola explains
"Why tho?" Abigail asked curiously.
"Its unspoken off your Majesty" Adeola politely lets loose of the answer but it was quiet obvious that whatever Carol is hiding in his room, is a mute topic around the castle but yet again, it wasn't her business to deal with. Not thinking much about it, the girls finally took a stop to another room seperating the barrier between the longue and Carol's room.
"Here's your room your majesty" Adeola opens the door widely exposing a huge but dead empty room.
As empty as it looked, The room wasn't as bad as Abigail has pictured it to be.
It had everything she had in her room. Books, A ton sized bed, scented candles, fairy lights and alot more. She couldn't possibly think that Carol must have added these details just so she could feel a little more like home.
Just then, more maids and servants enters her room while carrying her lugagges.
"Shall we help you to unpack?" Adeola questions, a comforting smile crawling on her face as she places her hands behind her back.
"No its okay. You're dismissed" Abigail orders as Adeola cutseyes respectfully before leaving the room with the rest of the servants.
Finally alone in the room, she takes in an uneasy sigh of relief for the 5th time today.
As she looks up at the ceiling, her mind kept diverting to the trauma she has experienced ever since that night of the masquerade. Never has she ever imagined herself being engaged to the emperor of the eastern nation.
"Puddin- what do you think? should i go on to the plan?" Abigail raises Puddin over her face.
'Meow' Puddin pawned at her as Abigail giggles not expecting the sudden reply.
"I'll take that as a yes" She sits up from the bed, carefully placing the kitten on the bed.
Given by the empty aura she acquired from her surroundings, she never thought she'd feel a lot lonelier indoors. In her palace, Going outside was her last resort, but now, she felt like she was trapped here. Abigail fixed her eyes on the books but nothing caught her interest. Hence, She has read each and every book to ever exist stating the fact that she is known to be the bookworm and loved to explore different kinds of books in the royal libery back at her home town.
Snapping her fingers, Abigail takes hold of Puddin and puts him inside a pouch strapped on her her waist.
"Shall we leave this prison cell Puddin?" Abigail walks infront of her door step, her hands shaking as she twist the door knob,
"We've gonna get outta here"
