Zedona and Olivia should be out of harm's way pretty soon. As soon as the wedding is over, I'll be starting my life here as Fabien's wife -- God, how crazy is that? -- and they'll be heading home like family always does after things like that.

I sit next to her and drape an arm across her shoulders. Olivia blows her nose and tries to shake me off, but I hold firm.
"Stop that," I tell her. "Do you want to talk about it?"
"There's nothing to talk about."
"Olivia...I know you're crying. There's no hiding it now. And I'm never going to sleep tonight, I'm so keyed up. We might as well chat about what's going on."
"Mob princesses don't chat about their feelings."
"Well, it's a good thing I'm not one of those then," I whisper just next to her ear. "Come on. Spill."
She wipes her nose and a tiny hint of a smile creeps across her lips. She nods.
