As Melody strolled through her office, her mind was all over the place. She was trying to concentrate on her work, but her mind kept wandering back to Morgan's invitation. She couldn't help but think that it would be pretty cool to hang out with him outside of work, but she was also worried about what might happen if things didn't go well.
Her mind was racing, totally regretting how she acted about the trip to London. She was trying so hard to forget about the embarrassment that was eating her up inside. She was somewhat bummed that she couldn't keep her emotions in check and might've screwed up her job.
She scolded herself for reacting so blatantly to his invitation, knowing that it was unprofessional and could potentially cause problems in the workplace. She wished she could take back her words, but it was too late to do so now.
