Kelsey
After dinner we all showed my mom around the castle, praying we don't somehow run into Skye. After about fourty minutes I fell back to talk to Lily, letting Drake take the lead.
"Hey, have you seen or talked to Skye at all?" I whispered.
She frowned and answered, "Yeah but only for like a minute... she wasn't in the mood for talking... but she is still helping you with... that..." She trailed off and didn't say our plan because they had stopped and we were really close to my mom.
"The grand tour has come to an end." Drake said dramatically, earning chuckles from everyone.
"So now we should all get some rest for the big party tomorrow," I added, also dramatically. With that everyone dispersed to their rooms for the night, me still wondering where my sister is. Drake and I reached his room and got changed then crawled into bed. I couldn't really sleep though and just lay with my eyes open, staring at the ceiling.
"What's wrong Kelsey?"
I sighed and answered, "I just wish I knew where Skye is... and what happened... I don't really know why I want to help them so bad but I do..."
Drake reached up and stroked my cheek then replied, "Maybe she just needs to sleep on whatever happened before she feels better." I nodded in agreement and closed my eyes. "Get some sleep and we'll see if we can find her in the morning." I didn't answer due to being too tired, then I slowly fell asleep.
DREAM
It felt like sinister darkness was holding me down, trapping me where I was.
"UUUUUUGGGHHHHH Not again!!! Fuck off you stupid evil people and just let me live my fucking life man!!!" I yelled at it, causing a male voice to laugh deep and low. I growled at it and scoffed, "Wow are you uglier than Zelroth so you decide to hide like an even bigger fuckin pussy ass pansy than him?"
"I am not afraid to show myself, you ridiculously idiotic fool. I'd just much rather let the fear sink in before you see the man who's going to kill you and anyone you love." He rumbled back.
My eyes shot open and then I remembered it was a dream, so I growled in frustration.
"Now what's wrong?" Drake tiredly muttered.
"Oh nothing. Just the fact we can't live more than like two months without some jack ass evil guy threatening to kill us." His eyes opened and he sat up looking down at me.
"Seriously? I thought we were done with that shit!" He quietly exclaimed.
I sat up too and replied, "Yeah well apparently we're not. Stu—" I was cut off by a tapping on the window. I furrowed my brows at Drake then got up to see what it was, him following. I opened the curtain to see a hawk flying in place right outside, I opened the window and let it in. It swooped in then shifted facing us, obviously it was Skye. "What's w—"
"You had that dream too right?" The fuck....?
I stared at her quizzically and answered, "yeeaaahhh... How'd you know?"
"Some weird sister thing I guess. Anyway, that was the main reason I came to find you. I wanted to warn you because I had a similar dream a while ago, but when I found you I figured it might be a bit much to be like 'hey I'm your sister, fun fact our brother ain't dead and guess what some stupid evil guy wants to kill you!' so uh yeah.." She told, looking a little apologetic.
"Why are these fricken guys always wanting to kill me and everyone I know, least this time I know I can be a like seven and a half foot wolf." Skye looked at me with slight awe in her eyes.
"You can shift into a wolf?" She asked.
"Yeah, I used to not be able to, but then stupid Zelroth pissed me off too much and I was able to. Let me know if you're able to actually see this or not." I answered then stepped away from her and my mate and shifted into the smaller version of my wolf.
Skye looked impressed and said, "Wow, you look really fuckin cool."
I shifted back and replied, "Thanks. I'm sure you can shift into a wolf too, you just might need to go through something scary first." She didn't look very impressed with that.
"Well how'd Zelroth piss you off enough for you to be able to do that?" She asked, looking fairly curious.
"Um... well... He kidnapped Drake and almost killed him then laughed about it and continued hurting him, which hurt me. So I had a major rage moment, shifted, admired myself for a minute, then ripped that fuckhead to shreds." I answered with a straight face.
She gave it right back to me then said, "Yeah I think I'll find a different way. Anyways, should probably prick your finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and die. Big scheme to commence tomorrow evening. And, don't worry, I'll make sure it goes as planned. I'm not gonna fuck your big revenge thing up, revenge is what I live for." I blinked, confused so she added, "Sleeping Beauty, Maleficent's curse scene. Sorry, I quote movies." I smiled in response, glad that this whole time she was pretty much how she was when she got here.
"Night bitch." I teased as she went to the window to leave, I didn't bother questioning where in the hell she even came from.
She looked back and smiled then returned, "Night bitch." With that she jumped out the window and shifted to a black hawk once more and flew off. Drake and I got back into bed, back to the warmth of the poofy blanket. We pretty much immediately went to sleep, I thankfully didn't have another stupid dream.
I woke to being blinded yet again because we forgot to close the curtains behind Skye last night, fuck me. Ugh. I groaned and pulled the blanket over my face. I apparently pulled a lot harder than I thought I did because right after, I heard a complaint from Drake, "Hey! My ass is cold now, give the blanket back!" I smiled evilly under the blanket as he started tugging it. I rolled over, taking the blanket with me, then I rolled back so I was on top of it. "Hey!! Now all of me is cold, give the fuckin blanket back Kelsey!!" He demanded, pulling harder to get the blanket back.
I just laughed, "Heh heh heh heh heh... Never."
"Give it baaaaaacckkkk!!!" He somewhat yelled, still pulling on the blanket.
"Would you guys shut up already!!! Other people are still sleeping you know!!" We heard Kat yell through the wall.
I laughed louder and yelled back, "No they're not cause they're yelling at me through a wall!!"
"Well I was asleep before all this yelling started!" Dylan yelled from the other side, least he's sounding in a better mood than yesterday. I just laughed, now everyone is awake and has to suffer with me. Bwahahaha.
"Least we all have to wake up now anyways, so I just saved someone another job. Merry Christmas guys!" I said loudly, earning equally loud groans in return. I laughed again and got up, walking over to the ginormous wardrobe. I opened it and pulled out yet another fricken dress, and later I get to change out of it into a bigger, poofier dress. Yay! -_-. Least I don't really mind dresses. I got changed then went over and dragged my mate out of bed. "If I don't see you ready and in the dining hall for breakfast in ten minutes, I'm gonna start telling stories about the stuff you say in your sleep." Drake quickly started getting ready after that. I chuckled on my way downstairs and down the many hallways. On the way there I saw the L couple just ahead of me, they didn't seem to hear me behind them so I snuck up super quiet and then jumped and yelled, "BOO!" Scared the absolute shit out of them, Luke threw a punch at me but I ducked in time and started laughing.
"OH MY GOSH WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO US!" Lily yelled, making me laugh harder.
"Well. Here with us, life involves hide and seek, adventures and scaring the shit out of someone when the chance is given." I stated, laughing after. They playfully rolled their eyes and the three of us continued walking to breakfast. Almost everyone else was already here waiting, except for Drake, Dylan and of course Skye. We went and sat down next to my mom. Can't wait for tonight.
