"Well, now that I have explained the basics of my research, I'd like to get started with some questions about your previous life. I read the transcript between you and Dr. Nelson, so I have a good jumping-off point. Why don't we talk about your childhood? Can you tell me anything about your time with your mother?" Dr. Quin asks.
I feel very anxious all of a sudden. I don't get how knowing about my mother will help me now.
"I don't really remember my time with her or her for that matter. However, when I think about it, I get a lump in my throat. I feel uneasy. I don't understand it myself, but I never felt happy when I thought of her." I explain.
I want to know why I can't remember. Is it really because of some traumatic event?
"That's ok. For now, we will talk about something you can remember. What is the first memory you have? Besides the one about your daycare teacher." Dr. Quin asks.
