"Hey, you said you wouldn't forget! This is the third time this week. I need it!" Josie scolds me.
"I'm sorry. You shouldn't have let me borrow it if you needed it soon. You know I love your oversized sweatshirts." I say, trying to make Josie take some of the blame.
"Gah, the coach is going to make me run extra laps again if I don't wear my full tracksuit to the game. You know Coach Marsh is strict." Josie says.
"Yeah, I know. I'm sorry. I'll run home and get it. Don't be mad at me." I say with puppy dog eyes.
"Don't try to act cute. It's not fair. Just, please don't be late. I'll be in the gym, come find me when you get back." Josie says as he kisses me on the head.
"Ok. Make sure you eat the protein bar I gave you. I'll be back." I say to Josie as I leave the school building.
