Charlie Temple

The Unicorn's Forest

Vol 1: The Unicorn's Forest Charlie Rivers is a 14-year old girl who is trying to get through high school without being noticed when she finds herself hearing a voice asking for help when she is only one of two who can hear it. She agrees, despite the fact the other person is someone she doesn't like. When she meets the 'voice' that needed help, she learns that it's a unicorn, yet she's the only one who seems to be able to see the horn. Everyone else thinks it's a horse. Charlie also learns that by having agreed to help the unicorn, she'd gotten herself involved with a group of friends, including the other person who can hear the unicorn, that she hadn’t been really involved with before. Not only is it changing her normal schedule drastically, given she hadn’t hung out with anyone before, but even her personal space seems under attack at times. As she continues to help the unicorn, she funds that going back to how she was isn’t as attractive as it had once been, before she was helping the unicorn but also she wonders if she really would want to. *Minor spoiler in the synopsis for vol. 2 if you haven't read vol. 1* Vol 2: Tip of Other Worlds Charlie and her friends begin traveling to other worlds in search of the world that the griffin canyon connects to. While they do that, Charlie finds herself torn with wanting to grow her relationship with Alex and beginning the expedition through different worlds. Then as the expedition begins, she finds more than she ever expected to find on other worlds, but ever in the back of her mind is the dream she had in which Beth, her best friend, dies in. A dream she's determined to keep from happening, even if she has to sacrifice the friendship that's come to mean so much to her. *Minor spoilers in vol. 3 synopsis* Vol. 3: Acclimating to a New World Charlie leaves her friends and is taken by The Lost. Her friends continue on and encounter a family who has the same disease they had just recovered from. While helping them, they learn about how this world is that of a matriarchal society and has been since ancient times. What that means they can't say, only that it's going to be awkward. Charlie comes to after a while, feeling like her brain had been I'm a fog and that she had been in a waking dream, only to find she's naked and in a kind of cage where she learns she's been taken as a slave. While she has no idea how this happened, she's determined to find a chance to successfully get out of that situation. Mature content will be either through implications or will only extend to the edge of it. The cover art was ai generated. Medusa's Lover (GxG)

Based on the tale told before us, Medusa was a beautiful maiden who was seduced by Poseidon in a temple of Athena. Such a sacrilege attracted the goddess' wrath, and she punished Medusa by turning her hair to snakes. Then, the Greek hero Perseus beheaded Medusa, and he used her head, which retained its ability to turn onlookers to stone, as a weapon until he gave it to the goddess Athena to place on her shield. However, the truth was far more complex. Poseidon had attempted to seduce Medusa and failed; he then forced himself upon her. Her lover at the time, the powerful goddess Athena, saw that Medusa had fallen to the seduction of men, and in her wrath, she cursed Medusa by turning her hair to snakes. Athena then kicked Medusa out, far from her temple and home. Medusa met Perseus, but he did not kill her. Instead, he was given an artifact by Medusa that would help him on his journey, and Medusa chose to disappear from the earth. She lived in seclusion, far from the human world, wrapping her snakes in a turban if she needed to venture into the human realm, and lived alone for centuries. While the other gods and goddesses walked among humans, Medusa's tale was told as a villainess, an evil woman. That is, until a young woman in her twenties named Elysia, a beautiful woman with a heavenly voice who was not afraid of Medusa, walked into the deep water near Medusa's territory. Medusa watched the young woman from afar, and knows that she's indeed blind. Medusa and Elysia slowly became friends and daily companions, and Medusa began to grow fond of her. However, Medusa's fears started to build - would Elysia run away if she knew the truth about Medusa? Would she stay, or would she disappear? Everything descended into chaos when Poseidon and Athena found Medusa. One is finally realizing that she was mistaken about Medusa centuries ago, and the other one still want to pursue her, can't forget about Medusa. Will Medusa finally find happiness, or is she doomed by her curse?

The vengeful God in another world is me?! Wasn't it just a game?!

‘How did this happen’ The young man, practically a boy, looked at the scene in front of him. In just one glance it was possible to see dozens of people, more closely he was sure there could be hundreds or thousands of people prostrating themselves in front of him. From the center of the city square to the adjacent streets in front of the temple, with a frightening similarity to what happened in the Vatican when the Pope gave a speech. The young man sitting on a throne too big for him, inside a marble temple he could see expressions of happiness, reverence, gratitude and in some a small hint of fear. Not that he paid much attention to the others, his attention was mainly drawn to the group directly below the throne. This group was made up of people of various ages, from old men with gray and wrinkled hair, but with strangely healthy bodies and postures upright like poles, to young people of various ages including children. What this group in particular had in common was their expression, which could only be described as fanatical as they looked at the young man. The only thing that was going on in the young man's head, with all this excessive attention, was simply... ‘How did things get like this?!!!! I was just playing a game!!!!’ In a room in an ordinary apartment, in an ordinary city. A seemingly ordinary young man could be seen lying in bed with a cell phone on his chest. The cell phone was on and showing scenes from what appeared to be a game. With a small and intriguing coincidence that the young man sitting on a huge throne inside a marble temple was completely identical to the sleeping young man. ********************************************** Thanks to ImagineArt for the image

the bronze trial: rise of the forgotten

Synopsis: The Shattered Seal As Sylas delves deeper into the Trial’s labyrinthine challenges, he discovers fragments of a forgotten war—a conflict waged by godlike beings whose actions reshaped the world. Each victory in the Trial grants him power, but it also reveals haunting visions of a great seal, created to imprison an unspeakable force. In one of the most suspenseful moments, Sylas stumbles upon a temple hidden within the jungle, its entrance guarded by cryptic statues carved from obsidian. Inside, he finds a room lined with glowing symbols, their light casting eerie shadows. At the center of the room lies a fractured seal, its edges radiating chaotic energy. The whispers in his mind grow louder, their once-guiding tone now filled with panic: “Do not touch it! The seal must hold!” But before Sylas can act, a shadowy figure emerges from the seal’s fragmented core. The being exudes an overwhelming aura of darkness, its form shifting and unstable. It speaks in a voice that reverberates through the temple: “You have come far, mortal… but your meddling has set me free.” The walls tremble as the figure begins to manifest fully, the energy from the broken seal threatening to consume everything around it. Sylas must decide whether to flee and warn others of the seal’s collapse or stand his ground against an ancient force beyond his understanding. As the chapter ends, Sylas raises his sword, the mark on his hand blazing with newfound intensity. He knows this battle is unlike any he has faced before—and losing could mean the end of the world.

Arcane Codex: The Infinite Exchange System

In various mythologies all across the world, it is mentioned that there are thousands of worlds similar to our planet Earth in this universe. The lives of people residing in these worlds may be similar to those who live on Earth, or they may be completely different. They may be powerful enough to wield the natural elements as their weapons, as told in folk tales, or they may be highly advanced in technology, to the point where we humans on Earth can't even fathom it. Anyway, this is the story of a man who transmigrated into such a world called Celestia. Celestia is a world of magicians and warriors who can call rain and storms with their magical spells and flatten mountains with a single punch. Our protagonist, Alvin, transmigrated into the body of a small thief who was being pursued by an entire village for stealing a divine deity statue from their sacred temple. Just as Alvin was trying to understand the situation around him, his head suddenly felt dizzy, and the next second he was standing in a black space. At the center of the void, in front of him, was a majestic golden book floating, like a golden star. The only thing Alvin saw was the name, "Arcane Codex," engraved on the cover of the book before he was once again back to reality. ........................................ How did a mortal from Earth transmigrate to the magical world of Celestia? Is the golden book responsible for this? What is the mystery behind the deity statue that Alvin's predecessor stole from the temple? Will he be able to survive in this world of wonders? All these questions will lead you to the life of Elen Draven and his journey to the top of Celestia. I hope all who have read this note until now will stay with my novel until the last chapter. As an author, I assure you this is not some harem or dark novel. Yes, there will be a heroine and romance, but it won't be a story where the MC is just a simp who only knows how to think with his lower body. Once again, I welcome you all to the magical world of Celestia.
