"I guess this isn't half bad for a day of training," Ethan said while checking his status after dinner. "Thank… god? I'm a hero, though. Otherwise, after working out this much, I would have ended up at a hospital if I had a normal body."

Congratulations! You learned the skill Bash!

Effects: Increases the power of your next physical attack by ten percent per level.

Cost: 01 stamina

Lv 02 – 155/200

While he was training Dash, Ethan recalled about Bash. It was a simple skill that consumed his stamina to increase the power of his attacks, being they armed or unarmed. Since it would also help him train Martial Arts, he ended up using Bash with his fists on a tree. That had been quite painful since Bash only worked when he used all his strength, but thanks to it, things have progressed well.

"I guess it is time to confirm if the shop still works," Ethan muttered.

Ethan focused his vision on his coin's icon, and then, in the next moment, a new window appeared. However, Ethan couldn't help but frown while looking at it.

Short Sword – 50 coins

Wooden Shield - 50 coins

Old Ring – 50 coins

Long Sword – 100 coins

Hood – 50 coins

Old Amulet – 50 coins

Spear – 50 coins

Leather Armor – 100 coins

Old Gloves – 100 coins.

"I don't remember the shop being this small," Ethan rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Come to think of it, the first time I accessed this, the number of items impressed me, but at the time, I was at the level five… maybe that is the problem. Since I can obtain coins without fighting, the shop has restrictions. It would be weird if, at level one, I could buy a powerful weapon."

Although his body was fine, Ethan was mentally tired. It was better to rest now since he was planning to check the school everyone mentioned to him. He had to confirm if that would be useful to his purposes, after all. Despite that, he still ended up buying the short sword. The weapon suddenly appeared above him and then fell on his hands. It wasn't that heavy. Still, Ethan couldn't feel the familiarity he felt once while holding swords in the past. Obviously, it was because he lost his Swordsmanship skill and all the others related to it.

Suddenly, Ethan felt some rapid footsteps approaching, and without wasting any time, he stored the short sword in his inventory. As if that was the most normal thing to do, Hannah kicked the door and barged into Ethan's room. Showing a serious but, at the same time, curious expression.

"I felt the effects of some high-ranked magic coming from here," Hannah said while looking around. "I thought you were the physical type, but can you use high-ranked magic too?"

"You never change, do you?" Ethan sighed. "How many times do I have to say, Hannah? You can't enter a room of a teenage boy like this. Even I don't have dirty stuff like you once had."

"It is fine, Nuvian returned to his home, so you don't have to use my name," Hannah said and then approached, trying to hug Ethan from behind, but then she stopped. "You can call me big sis again."

"Ah, right… I forgot about this," Ethan sighed. "You don't like to be called that in front of others, but I didn't expect that you would feel that way even in front of that guy."

The truth is, Hannah liked the others to see her as a serious and dependable older sister. However, when only his parents and Ethan were at home, she would go back to her normal behavior and become a silly girl who liked to spend most of her time messing with and strengthening the bond between her and Ethan.

"Got a problem with that?" Hannah asked.

"Not really," Ethan replied while shrugging his shoulders.

"Stop wasting time and explain the magic that I felt," Hannah said and sat on the side of the bed.

Instead of explaining, Ethan just showed it to her. Taking the sword from the inventory and also buying a spear from the shop. Ethan felt pretty impressed the first time he saw that, but Hannah didn't. If anything, she only frowned.

"It wasn't your mana that caused this," Hannah nodded to herself. "So, you have a support system… those are rare."

"Is that so?" Ethan said. "When I was in the other world, I heard that heroes of the past also had this."

"It is probably because you inherited the system from them," Hannah explained. "Most liked, the god of that world created the system and gave it to you and the other heroes. Only someone like that would be able to create such a system and pass it a will to others. Even among heroes, the power to manipulate space and time is rare. Not to mention the power to use energy and create things with it. Transforming energy into matter…"

Ethan was aware of it, but he never thought much about it since it was magic. He was a guy from a modern world that couldn't explain such a phenomenon with logic alone. That was supposed to be the truth one year ago, but now humanity was creating crazy devices with the use of mana.

"I suppose your power is different," Ethan said, looking at her curious expression.

"That is right, I can't see things and notice my progress by watching numbers, but I can feel it," Hannah explained. "That is probably why you are not good at controlling magic because you didn't improve your senses."

"So, you can tell, huh," Ethan said.

"Obviously," Hannah stuffed her chest and then said it as if it was a matter of fact. "In any case, even though I don't need to tell you that since you spent all day training your body, I will tell you anyway. If you can, recover your powers as fast as possible. Make use of the school whenever possible. I can't express in words what I'm feeling right now, but I think hard times are approaching. Too many people are being transported to other worlds, and it is only a matter of time before something unexpected happens."

"… I see, so you think that as well," Ethan nodded. "Well, if the school can be used like that, I'm going to use to it my heart's content."

"Ah… knowing you, you will love the things that you will find there," Hannah showed a weird smile.

Ethan wanted to hear more about it, but Hannah decided to keep quiet in order not to spoil the surprise. The summoned heroes' school wasn't like a place to keep those kids together and train them, and it was much more than that.
