[System Initialization Completed!]

[Establishing connection with Host's soul]

[Connection Established!]

[The Ultimate Tech Resources System is now online.]

I didn't know how to react when the so-called system suddenly arrived.

Be happy? No.

Be sad? No.

I had already formulated my own plans Incase the goddess hadn't included some legendary perks to aid in my survival in an extremely dangerous reality.

And it seems my plans would have to be revised with the arrival of the Ultimate Tech Resources System.

I just hoped it didn't have a shady AI that could make my life a literal hell with unreasonable quests and punishments.

Having it non-sentient would be better.

"Uh, Ultimate Tech Resources System?" I said to gauge the system.

[Yes, host]

"Who created you?" The system's origin would be my automatic first question.

Through that question, I wanted to know how the system will respond.

I have read many novels where the main characters just skip this part.

And on some occasions, when the system AI is asked to clarify its origin it outrightly responds by saying that the host either doesn't have enough jurisdiction over the matter or the host is just weakling and should grow stronger to get the needed answers.

Of course before asking I had already considered Auntie Spider being the system's creator.

I was just asking for clarification.

[The System's Creator is Auntie Spider.] The System AI replied and then went silent.

And?

Nothing else?

The System AI was truly stingy.

"Who is Auntie Spider?" A hopeful gleam showed in my eyes. I wanted to know more about my almsgiver.

Yeah, I considered it charity that I was even alive in another reality.

[She's the one who transmigrated you and created me, the System's AI]

I could feel the strong sarcasm from the system AI's reply.

It greatly frustrated me and made me mad when I didn't get what I needed. And that was to know more about the Weaver.

If the System AI doesn't want to tell me, then that's that and I would find the answers myself as I have always done.

"Huff." I exhaled loudly to break the tension in my body that built up my own damn curiosity.

"Let's get started on the important matters now." I turned into serious mode.

The situation demanded.

It was better to prepare myself earlier as I awaited for all that apocalyptic crap to happen.

And as Abraham Lincoln always said and quote, "Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe."

Plans, versatility, and preparations were important factors when preparing for a difficult war.

For Lincoln, it is his axe but for me it is... Science and Technology.

I needed to sharpen my knowledge and look for ways to condition my weak human constitution.

I sadly didn't have Henry Cavill's default physique - Kryptonian Physiology.

"Tell me your functions."

Now, what was the Ultimate Tech Resources System offering to me? It was a vital thing to know but I had an inkling about what it would be mostly centered around.

Its name was pretty suggestive.

[Affirmative.]

------

[Status]

[Inventory]

[Lottery]

------

"Pretty much basic. I have seen this kind of system set-up many times that it's now unimpressive."

"While I am curious about the Lottery function. I really want to know about my current status."

"Show me my Status." I gave the system a verbal command.

I know it was linked to my soul and I could communicate with it psychic-wise but I was all alone in the house.

_____

[Status]

Name: [Kal El]

Height: 6'1

Weight: 200lbs

Title: [Mad Scientist] [Humanity's Greatest Sinner] [One With the Binary] [Nerd]

[Stat Attributes]

Strength: 0.7(Athletic)

Speed: 0.6(Athletic)

Defense: 0.7(Athletic)

Intelligence: 1.1

[Resources Points: 0]

[Unallocated Stat Points: 0]

_____

"Kal El? So that is the name given to this body." My brows crunched inwardly as my face morphed into one weird expression.

Why the hell did this body have a Kryptonian name?!

Wait... Now I remember I didn't get the name from this body's memories except for... Nothing.

The merging of memories was just an occurrence of soul integration.

My current body was essentially an empty template meant for me to fill in.

"Well, It doesn't matter since I will change it later on. Emery still remains my name and It will stick with me till I die... again." And I am not planning to die again.

Not in this life or another.

"System, what are the normal human stat attributes?" I asked curiously.

[All Normal humans cap at 0.5, while Athletic figures all vary from 0.6-0.9]

[1.0 is the human limit. A better term for it is Peak Human.]

"Good. The only thing that belongs to me is my intellectual gift. I am surprised that it's already at the peak of humanity."

I have never thought of it that way.

I just viewed myself as someone with the brains to make things done when needed.

Quantifying intelligence didn't carry any weight to me.

'Hmm, Inventory is easily explainable but "Assumption is the mother of all failures".' I thought intently.

"System, tell more about Inventory."

____

[Inventory]

This is simply a separate infinite dimensional space that can be used by the system's user to store any inorganic or non-living items. The items can be from the System or the outside world.

___

What was I overthinking? Was I maybe expecting it to be capable of temporal dilation or even storing living beings?

"Alright, let's go to the Lottery, the finale." I shook my head while smiling in anticipation.

Lottery? Fantasy Roulette? Gacha?

I didn't want it to be something related to Gacha though.

Definitely not.

___

[Lottery]

A function meant to supply the host with the Ultimate Tech Resources. A resource is a broad term and the things that you will get from the Lottery will range from advanced knowledge, special metals, blueprints, and anything related to technology.

The lottery is connected to the [Omniversal Root] which acts as an anchor to all fictional realities in the Omniversal Bubble.

The items or knowledge that you will get, will ultimately depend on your luck. (They can be total trash or god-tier)

Prerequisite: To use the lottery function, you must acquire a Resource Point. The Ultimate Tech Resources System will randomly reward you with Resource Points based on your achievements, be they minor or major ones.

___

"I now understand." I nodded to myself.

"By then again, how can I forget about the most important thing?" I adorned a crazy smile.

I then clapped my hands lightly.

"System, did you by chance forget the usual?"

[What are you implying, host?]

"You forgot the newbie package, cease your heresy!" I exclaimed with a shocked expression on my face.
