As she rolled the bottle on the ground, we all held our breaths in anticipation. The bottle spun around and around, making a hypnotizing sound as it moved.
It started to slow down, the momentum dissipating until it finally came to a stop, the neck of the bottle pointing directly at Jack.
"Truth or Dare?" Phoebe asked, a mischievous glint in her eye.
"Truth," Jack answered without hesitation, his voice steady and sure.
"Who's your biggest crush?" Phoebe asked, a sly smile crossing her lips.
Jack paused for a moment, his brow furrowed in thought. After a moment, he finally answered.
"Jason Modrel, oh how much I love him," he said, looking with a dreamy face, his voice barely above a whisper.
We all stared at him in shock, our mouths hanging open in surprise. Kira looked at him with a mixture of disbelief and anger, her eyes narrowed as she gave him a look that said, "You had better be kidding."
"Don't tell me you're bisexual?" Sam asked, a hint of disbelief in his voice.
"Come on, guys. First of all, I'm not gay. I just like him for how he looks and his style of dress. It's not the kind of like-like you're all thinking about," Jack explained, his face flushing with embarrassment.
Kira wasn't satisfied with his answer. "And you expect us to believe that? You just said how you love," she asked, her voice dripping with skepticism.
Jack saw the anger in Kira's eyes and knew he had to do something to make it right. He got down on one knee in front of her, taking her face in his hands.
"My heart belongs to you and no one else but you. You know that right?" he told her, his voice sincere.
We all watched the scene unfold like we were in a movie, our eyes glued to the couple in front of us.
The anger was still visible in Kira's eyes, the light reflecting off them and making them seem to burn with intensity.
She didn't take Jack's joke well, but she did a good job of holding herself back. She nodded, and Jack gave her a soft, tender kiss before returning to his spot.
"Let's continue," Mia said, making Jack pick up the bottle and roll it again. This time it pointed at Phoebe.
"Truth or Dare?" Jack asked, a challenge in his voice.
"Truth," Phoebe answered, a hint of nervousness in her voice.
"Tell us something nobody else knows about you," He said, his eyes fixed on Phoebe.
Phoebe hesitated for a moment, her mind racing as she tried to think of something to reveal. "Um…that I sleep with my shoes on?" she finally said, her voice uncertain. It came out more like a question than a statement.
"Come on, you guys know everything about me," she said, a hint of frustration in her voice as she took the bottle and gave it a spin.
We all waited anxiously to see where it would land. The bottle twirled around and around, the glass glinting in the dim light as it moved. It slowed down, gradually coming to stop and pointing toward...
'Me?'
My heart skipped a beat as I saw everyone staring at me, their eyes filled with expectation.
"I dare you to…" Phoebe started to say, a wicked smile spreading across her face.
"Hold on. Don't I get to choose?" I interrupted, trying to buy myself some time.
"I guess I need to remind YOU of THE RULES that after TWO consecutive TRUTHS, the next person is FORCED to take a DARE," Phoebe said, emphasizing certain words for emphasis.
"Jack and I already picked truths so you have to take a dare." She said further.
I swallowed nervously, knowing that I had no choice but to take the dare. But I couldn't resist trying to get out of it, even if it was just a fleeting hope.
"Alright, alright," I said in defeat.
Phoebe was about to speak again, but she stopped mid-sentence when Sam leaned over and whispered something in her ear.
'What's that about?' I asked myself.
When he finished, I knew I was in trouble as they both wore mischievous grins.
"I dare you to make out with any girl here for…let's say 3-5 minutes," She said, dropping the bomb.
"I guess I'll pass then," I said, knowing exactly what is going to happen in the next few seconds.
"It's too late for that. Not after you've heard the dare," Sam answered, a sly smile on his face.
I knew this was all his doing and I made a mental note to get my revenge on him later. I had hoped to choose Phoebe, but I could tell that Sam had already thought of that.
"Definitely not my Pheebs," he said, wrapping his arms around Phoebe's neck possessively.
"Not mine either," Jack added, giving Kira a tender look.
"Which leaves you with only one person," Phoebe said, a hint of amusement in her voice.
"Mia," I said, sighing in resignation.
Mia tensed a bit as I looked at her. I was weighing my options. 'It's just a kiss. And it's possible that we might not remember any of it…. Well, depending on how drunk we'll be.'
I had nothing to lose so I stood up and went to sit beside Mia.
"You know I have to do this right? I mean you don't have to if you don't want to" I stammered, my voice cracking a little bit.
She nodded while looking at my lips. I leaned in slowly until I could feel her hot breath and lightly brushed my lips against hers.
And just as my lips made contact with hers, I felt an electric shock travel through my body like little shockwaves of pleasure and desire.
'Damn….. It's been a while since I kissed a girl and…. I don't remember it feeling this good.'
The kiss was great but we haven't opened up yet to each other.
Our lips were just on each other, sucking and playing. The hormones in me kicked and urged me to go on. I deepened the kiss and she responded with a soft moan.
Our lips moved in perfect synchronization as I dove into the warmth of the kiss. I wrapped my arms around her waist, deepening the kiss as I dragged my lips away from hers.
I slowly wrapped my arms around Mia, instinctually taking her in my embrace as we deepened the kiss.
Her hands found their way to my hair, pulling me closer and I struggled to be in control of this kiss that is attempting to drown me.
Mia moaned softly as our tongues intertwined, a guttural sound escaping her that sent a wave of heat coursing through my veins.
I felt her start to tremble in my arms, a sign I didn't need interpreting, telling me she was enjoying it just as much as I am.
I barely gave attention to the catcalls and hoots and whistles coming from our friends, almost oblivious of their presence, as I was so lost in the moment, all I could focus on was Mia and how amazing the kiss felt. I totally forgot how it felt.
"Alright…. Your five minutes are over." I heard Kat say as she clapped.
