Alan was furious and the first thing he did in the morning was to go looking for Cane. He missed the party because his bastard gamma had left him bedridden and only now could he get out of the bed.

 

However, he was not in the room and no one was remotely clear headed to tell him where he was.

 

He had been waiting for Cane for an hour before he saw him climbing the stairs with Iris on his back, sleeping.

 

"Where have you been?!" He asked harshly. He was alone now, while his old advisor was nowhere to be seen. Meaning, there was no one there to hold him back from being so arrogant and advise him to read the situation before doing something at this moment.

 

On the other hand, Cane was too tired to engage in contention with this spoiled brat of a prince. He didn't act his age at all. It seemed his brain stopped growing after he crossed his eighth birthday.
