"Wow! Your highness, you're so beautiful in this dress." Ruth exclaimed happily. Alusha smiled gently. She knew it at the very first moment she saw the gawn. She slightly lifted the dress which reached the floor while hugging her every curve in the correct places. She was satisfied with only a pair of earrings and a necklace. Ruth wanted her to wear a bracelet too. But she refused her. She won't look simple and elegant if she wears so many jewelleries like a decorated puppet.
There's still alot of time before the prince's arrival. Thus, Alusha decided to meet her father first to have a good talk according to her plan. She came to his chamber later in the morning and informed her presense. The king was surprised. Flovia was a lazy girl who slept for hours till the afternoon. He'd never imagined that she would wake up early in the morning and even wanted to visit him. Looked like his daughter has really grown up!
"Oh dear, you are so pretty." The king praised his daughter as soon as he saw her. "Mrs.Cabbage is really talented." Alusha blushed and lowered her head shyly.
"I was busy with the kingdom affairs so I didn't get a chance to see you these days. But little Flov, you don't have to trouble yourself by waking up so early in the morning just to find time to spend with me. Next time, I'll definitely try my best not to dissapoint you." The king said in a heartache.
Alusha shook her head. She'd never slept longer than six hours. Usually, she woke up at 6.00 a.m. and she maintained this habbit even after her transmigration. In the novel, the author had said that Flovia liked to sleep without caring about the outside world. She was very different from Flovia as she was a light sleeper. "Father, I got enough sleep. In fact, I woke up naturally. You don't have to worry about me so much. You have to think about your health instead. Don't get sick by working overtime."
The king was so happy when he heard her. She was so mature and she even cared about his well-being first as a responsible daughter. The troublesome little spoiled brat finally grew up to a decent, reasonable, elegant and gentle young lady. He was so proud of his daughter but he hid his excitement and pretended to be expressionless before saying, "Okay, okay. Now cut the crap and enter the topic. What do you want to talk with me? Is it about Prince Andrew?"
Alusha took a deep breath and faced him confidently. "Aye father. I don't like Prince Andrew. So... I don't want to marry him. You should annul our engagement."
The king laughed when he heard her. Since it was a private matter, he waved at his soldiers,
indicating that he wants to talk alone with his
daughter. Alusha felt much more relieved when she saw the soldiers wth long weapons finally left them alone. "Flov, how can you say you don't like Prince Andrew? You've never met him before." Alusha gulped. 'I don't want to meet him.'
The king continued. "Besides, how do you know whether he is good or bad unless you meet him and get to know his personality? Can you say you can't swim before even trying? You have to Jump into a swimming pool to confirm it." Alusha gritted her teeth. It was also because of a stupid pool that she was here, in this world. So she didn't want to swim in the pools anymore.
"But father, I'm still fifteen." She took out her last card. The king clicked his tongue. "So what? It's not that you're gonna marry him soon. You have to date him before that" "What if I don't like him in the end?" "You'll difinitely like him. He's a good boy." The king stated in a firm manner. Alusha rolled her eyes in her mind. She knew about him more than anyone, okay? He doesn't need to praise him. The male lead was always perfect in any novel. Bah!
Alusha took a deep breath. She had to change the king's mind in any means. Now there's only one way left. "Father I want to go to a college like a normal teenager. I want to live a normal life even if it's for a short period of time. So can you please fulfill this small request of mine?" She blinked her eyes innocently. The king sighed. He was almost bewitched by her look. But as a father, he shouldn't let her have her way for her own good. "Look Flovia, I know the world is so different from the past and the technology improves. But it doesn't mean you're safe and sound even if you're surrounded with guns and whatnot. Simply think like this. You're a princess, not a normal, teenage girl. You have your responsibilities and obligations."
Alusha bit her lower lip. "Father, other royal children also attend colleges. Can you remember Princess Jenifia? She also attends the highschool especially made for noble families. What's that name? Aaah, right! The Proud Of Royalty Institute..." The king shook his head. "She's not an only daughter. But you are. You're so precious to me thus I won't risk your safety." Alusha pouted her lips unhappily. 'Every child is precious for their parents whether they are only children or not.' She thought but she didn't dare to say it out loud.
"Then father, Can you find a public school so no one doubts a thing. I can disguise myself thus no one will recognize me including you."
