The king liked his daughter's confidence the most. But he had to be strict in order to protect his precious daughter. "Not happening." Alusha pouted her lips. She knew that it's hard to convince him but now it seemed it's impossible. "Father, what if I don't like him even after getting to know him well?" She changed the topic to Prince Andrew again. The king shook his head. "He is such a good young man. As a father, I always want to give you the best things in the world... including your marriage partner. So you have to believe me, Flov."
Alusha sighed helplessly. "Okay father." She whispered. "Okay, okay. Now don't stay here any longer. We have to welcome the prince. Get ready!" The king urged her excitingly. Like that, Alusha was kicked out of the king's chamber.
Alusha had already dressed up. She didn't want to spend her time inside her room anymore. Therefore, she decided to take a stroll at the royal garden. The garden was filled with various kind of rare and beautiful flowers. The sweet aroma filled Alusha's nostrils. She took a very deep breath. Her mind relaxed instantly. She felt like she was like a little bee, who was roaming around flowers freely without caring about the outside world. As a bird whom locked up in a golden cage, she admired freedom the most.
"I never thought that our princess is a nature lover." A voice sounded behind her. Alusha almost screamed. She turned around and looked at the culprit who dared to scare her. It was a young boy around nineteen years old. He looked average and he had a dark skin. The most special thing about him was the long and clear scar on the corner of his right cheek. Alusha squinted her eyes. "It's none of your bussiness." She blurted out rudely and turned to leave.
"Wait princess, I didn't mean to scare you. I'm sorry." The boy said. Alusha rolled her eyes. She didn't want to accept that she got scared because of his action. "I wasn't afraid of you. It's just that I was abit startled." The boy laughed. "Okay, okay. I think so too." Alusha carefully sized him up. He was wearing a hay hat and a pair of old pants along with a horrible coat. Yep, it was a coat and wasn't a coat at the same time. Simply, it was a cloth which looked like a coat. Alusha felt sorry for him.
"Your grace, the ceremony has begun. His majesty anticipates your presence." A maid informed Alusha, interrupting their conversation. Alusha stared at the boy. "What's your name?" She asked. "I'm Frezil." The boy said with a smile. Alusha nodded. "I have to go now, Frezil. Let's meet again in the future." With that, she left the garden with her maid. Frezil looked at her departing figure untill she completely dissapeared from his eye sight. "We will definitely meet again, princess."
Alusha entered the gigantic hall where the ceremony was participated in. There were lots of crystal chandeliers, beautifully decorated flowers like roses and other expensive stuff which looked quite noble and elegant. With a single glance, anyone could feel how much the king had spent just to decorate the hall. Not to talk about other service like delivering food for the guests. Alusha sighed inside her heart. She wasn't rich in her previous life. Thus she knew the value of a single cent very well.
She wondered why they bothered to waste so much money on a simple thing like welcoming a guest. Ofcaurse, to them, Prince Andrew wasn't a normal guest but the future son-in-law of the king! However she didn't seem to understand this and she only thought that her father could just hold a simple dinner banquet.
"Hey, father is up there... and your future husband is also..." "Shut up!" She recognized the voice without even looking and blurted out.
Alusha turned to the person who pissed her off. He was her only brother, Prince Cinemon. Actually this seventeen years old boy really loved his sister to bits. But he had a bad habbit of making fun of her. Not only Alusha, but also Flovia found him so annoying equally.Although Alusha wanted to make peace with him, it never worked.Prince Cineman laughed when he heard his sister. Alusha didn't want to waste her time with him. Therefore, she turned to leave.
"Where are you going?" Prince Cinemon asked, pretending to be sad. Alusha rolled her eyes saying,"To meet my future husband."
Prince Cinemon: "..."
He stared at his sister's departure, looking dumbfounded before laughing once again.
"Father..,Your majesty." Alusha called out to the person who was busily talking with the young man beside him. Actually this young man was Prince Andrew whom everyone was waiting eagerly for. Alusha subconsciously looked at this handsome guy. As expected from a male lead from an unrealistic novel, he was unrealistically good looking. Simply breathtaking! Not a single person could avoid his majestic presence. He was simply the center of attention wherever he went. Alusha smacked her lips dissapointedly. It was such a pity that he was gonna die at such a young age.
"Oh dear, you've finally come. We were waiting for you." The king said with a smile. Alusha lowered her head and apologized for being late. The king waved his hands nonchalantly. "It's okay. Here, meet Prince Andrew from Gruvenia." He introduced the boy beside him. Alusha almost reached out her hand for a shake. She forgot about the royal etiquette for a moment. Fortunately, she remembered them at the last minute.
Alusha gave the prince a formal curtsy uttering, "It's nice to meet you, Prince Andrew." The prince smiled and bowed to her as well. "It's my fortune to meet you, Princess Flovia."
