Chapter 23 - Chapter 22: Patience (I)

She stood still waiting for someone to say something but nothing happened he was still

'thinking' and for a minute she felt heartbroken, she shut the door loudly and ran to her room.

She tossed herself on the bed and when she turned she noticed Dave.

"When will you ever use the door?" she said in-between tears.

"When they seem more comfortable like your window" he replied calmly.

Olivia looked at him and as she scanned him from head to toe she started crying.

"Why?"

"I'm I so handsome, it's natural" he replied as he looked at the girl who he had suddenly started to develop a soft spot for.

'Handsome?I wish, wellllll kind of' she thought as she sat on her bed to properly approach him.

"Why are you so blind?"

"You're crying?" he asked a little confused as he looked at her moist face.

"Yes you douchebag, I'm crying" she yelled a little less angry.

"Really, I didn't notice" he said innocently.

"Sometimes I think your problems are far deeper than your eyes, I think it's more of your brain" she said silently as she wiped her face with her hand.

"Well I'm happy to have been your insult dummy, feeling better" he asked slightly concerned.

"Yeah" she said slightly glad that he came.

"How did you know" she asked as she looked at Dave.

"You threw a tantrum, I heard it from the kitchen and I decided to come check it out,hey have you heard from Josaphine" Dave asked.

Oh no! she didn't want to ruin his playful mood, she looked at him and sighed deeply repeating the lies that had suddenly popped head in her head.

"She's with Molly"

"Ok, thanks" Dave replied as he noticed that sudden change of posture.

"Do you guys have bodyguards" she asked.

"Yes but I always find a way to escape them"

"Has Josaphine tried you know escaping"

"No not once, she says it's better to be under surveillance 24/7 than to run around free like some stray bird" he said as he was about leaving.

"What do your parents do for a living?" she asked.

"Wow, questions, well if you must know my dad's a real estate agent and my mom singlehandedly manages multiple companies" he answered calmly.

"Does your family have enemies, rivals anyone who'd want to see you fall ?"

"Okay why does this feel like I'm feeling in a police report"

'Because you are' she thought inwardly.

"Yes we have rivals, lots of enemies more than I can count, that's why we have bodyguards" he said silently.

"Oh" she answered briefly because she knew he would question her if she dared to ask another question.

"May I leave" he asked gesturing to the window.

"Sure" she answered quickly.

"But use the door" she added and as she turned she noticed he had already left.

She looked down as she noticed his phone laying carelessly on her drawer. She smiled as she noticed it still appeared open. She rushed and as she tapped on the screen the phone beep.

******Incorrect password******

She looked at the hint she'd gotten from their conversation recently and then she wrote.

JOSAPHINE

and lucky for her it was correct. She went straight to his contact list to try look for one of his father's rivals number but as she got close to a number she noticed someone else in the room.

"What are you doing with my phone" he asked.
